Yeah. I remember seeing a VSauce episode a while back where they touched on this sort of thing, and said something about how, when all your senses are cut off and your brain has no sense of the reality around it, it kind of makes up its own reality. That's why people tend to hallucinate when they do this sort of thing.

Admittedly, seeing Rhett and Link do it has put it on my bucket list. It did look like a pretty wild experience, and I'd like to see what my brain comes up with when it has no reality to work off of.

I actually only discovered them fairly recently. That shot of Rhett with the wig I just couldn't resist making my avatar for some reason, and the whole concept of a sensory deprivation tank by itself kind of fascinates me. If any other Youtuber I follow had uploaded something relating to them recently, I probably would've just posted that.
