Did Iceburn not even hear Kalama present an option for getting the ring? You didn't make any mention of it, Firo.
Okay, why is it you're not fond of D&D when it has a ton of freedom involved? Are you going by 4e or something? Because that's not worthy of being called D&D with all the restrictions on creativity it has. I'm using 1e because it presents a lot more freedom for rule changes and can easily integrate custom classes as well as adapt other settings to it (there are actually some people working on a modern adaptation using 3e at the very latest. 3e is when the creative potential began to go downhill).

I'm thinking about having regular, non-magical humans having the same advantage that they have in regular 1st edition D&D, meaning no level cap. Witchers, Elves, Dwarves, and Sorcerers will, however, have a level cap.

Witchers and Sorcerers will also be limited to a single class. Witcher and Sorcerer are to be both a race and a class. Only a Witcher can be a Witcher, but that's also all they can be. Of course, they could put focus on Signs or Combat, but they'll still have to mix the two. Sorcerers can wield simple weaponry, but their greatest assets are their magic, which is to be the same as default D&D spells since the Witcher's magic is similar to the stuff used in D&D (with the exception of the Signs, which are a special case).

As for balancing, the games did a fair job of balancing Witchers, but Sorcerers are gonna take some work to balance out. Fortunately, 1e is very forgiving when it comes to powerful characters.

I'm thinking of making the non-human level cap around 30 or so. It should, however, be noted that it could take months of owning a character to get him to level 30.
I sincerely apologize for not posting, but I haven't gotten the chance until now to notify you guys that I've been grounded. I'll have full privileges again on Thursday, though.
The relations to Sage are interesting. I'll try to get her relationship sheet up on Thursday, when I'm no longer grounded.
I forgot to explain how he flies. He can create wings from fire to fly.
Don't you know Navy's better than Army? :P

I'll be using the GI bill for college so I can be an officer. I'll be coming out of college as an ensign. :D

Name: Kalamadea

Gender: Male

Age: Somewhere between 40 and 50 thousand

Race: Ancient red wyrm (also called a fire drake)

Appearance: He is a massive creature, measuring 30 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing approximately thirty tons. His muscles are bulging and have a sculpted appearance, with his scaly flesh clinging tightly to the muscle. His flesh is coated in fiery red scales, the smallest of which is as big as an average man's hand. He is wingless, though only physically. He has a total of twelve horns, but two are more like bone spikes than horns. Two are on the back of his head, six are on his lower jaw, two are on his elbows, and the bone spikes grow from his back where his wings once were.

Personality: He is very kind and slightly arrogant. While he is ancient, he won't try to seem wiser than he really is. Most obvious of all, though, is how laidback and joking he is.

History: Kalama hatched during the early years of human civilization, and saw almost all of human history. He developed a love for Men that no other dragon would feel until Riders came to be. When they did, he helped teach them, mainly aiding them in learning to help their dragons care for their bodies and familiarizing them with draconic lore, including history, anatomy, physiology, etc.

Other: It's brief because I'm on my phone.
In case the luck is what makes him seem too much like Deadpool I should point out that Deadpool really isn't that lucky. If he didn't have Thanos's immortality curse, he'd have died a long time ago.

EDIT: And never mind. You beat me to it, lol.
((Sorry for the horrible post. I'm in a hurry.))

From further back in the shadows, another figure approached. As he came into a lighter part of the area, they saw that he looked like a wingless dragon. He had a Brainiac logo on his head, but he ripped it off and kept hold of it. "I got the signal. Looks like Brainiac bit off more than he could chew when he tried to take over a dragon. Doesn't he realize dragons are all immune to mind control?" He listened to the more veteran members of the League, though he himself had worked with the League before. When Kai Ro mentioned a need to take his ring back, Kalama knew it was a good idea to spare the logo he held. "I could help with that. Brainiac likely thinks he has hold of my mind, so I can use this to infiltrate and find out just where the ring is."
I've been grounded for a week, so my post will have to be put off since my school blocked this site. I swear, the whole blocking sites thing is just dumb.
