So, recently, one of the old Guild's longest running RP's, Multiverse: You are the Character, ran into a lot of shit not long after moving to its own site due to the domain provider, and because of that it nearly died. We managed to get onto another site since we couldn't move back to the Guild at the time, since all this happened during Guildfall, but it has now slowed to a crawl. So here we are again, back to where it all started for a semi-fresh start.

Basically, the concept of Multiverse is fairly simple: you find a roleplay here on the Guild, but there's a twist: once you sign up, you're pulled into the internet itself to gather the pieces of a shattered artifact known as the Crucible of Worlds. During Multiverse's nearly four years of running, it ended up bloated and convoluted, which likely contributed to its current state. Here, we're wiping everything and starting anew with a lameass excuse for why things are different this time around. Oh, and did I mention we're starting after the events of the first run while assuming we managed to actually finish? No need to be familiar with the events of the original, though, since it means nothing due to the digital Multiverse, as the Internet is called here, literally rebooting itself at the end of the previous crisis. Yup, there's the lameass excuse I mentioned earlier. This means that, later on, if either me or Grandsword decide it'd be interesting, we could pull some timey wimey shit and draw from the previous one, in which case everything you need will be thrown in your face for you to process. No, I'm kidding, we won't pull any kind of timey wimey shit like that since it would mean drawing from the bloated lore of the original.

Anyone moving in from the original is welcome to bring in any of their original characters in the same state as when we left off due to the fact that we used the Crucible to become physical entities. We're going off the assumption that we completed the Crucible because we found out that all pieces were actually already found, we came together, fought the other factions, and then got over our differences to stop the bigger threat. The Crucible was completed in this time, and when we defeated the Entity and used the power of the Crucible, Phaaze stole it and we went and stopped it. No power progression occurred in the real world. Feel free to nab your sheets from the board on Xanje. If you never were on the current version of the setup, or at least part of the original, you won't know what I'm talking about anyway so don't worry about trying to understand it, because it has no impact of any kind on you.

If this seemed like a bit of a ramble, sorry, I'm just excited this can get a chance to keep going and I haven't slept for almost 24 hours.

So, any takers on this reboot of an awesome roleplay?
We could use more people for when it picks up again.
I'm still here to spectate and just hang out in general, though I may (keyword, may) jump back in. My interest in roleplaying has kinda sorta started coming back.
Oh? You mind sharing the specs? I'm a huge computer geek and like to drool over hardware specs.
Yeah, it's not so much the act of being kicked out that pissed me off, but the fact that they waited until after I put a lot of hard work into getting a better job to kick me out. If they'd done it right off the bat instead of waiting for months, I'd be far less pissed.

I'll try to post as well, but I'm really not sure how to get a meaningful post done without more Onyx postage.
Well, turns out the military suddenly decided to kick me out for the ADHD despite everything due to a bunch of bullshit. Kinda makes me wish I was born a bit later so I never got caught up in that whole ADHD bullshit from the late 90's and early 2000's.
Will this help?

My ship date's changed to January 12th, so I have two extra weeks with you guys before disappearing for a few months.
And I have no internet at home, so I can only post on weekdays. Fortunately, the place I work at is fairly laid back about internet use, and we don't have to dedicate too much time to machines that come in (most of the time it's just babysitting while the computer goes through a scan of some sort), so I can still post at work.
If there are any future RP's for me. Right now it feels like I'll never get back into RP, and I honestly don't mind. Gaming's what killed it, and I love gaming more than RP.
