Okay, post is up, timeskip is described, guard is questioning Team Volcano, I gotta get back to work. Be back in five hours or so.
Samus nodded, giving it some thought for a moment. From what little she heard, the Gorons were a proud people, so it was likely they would respond to power. Power was something the group had plenty of, but that begged the question of morality. Would it be right to strike fear into their hearts? It seemed only natural to Samus to come to the decision to climb Death Mountain directly. "Let's climb it. My shielding can handle a few rocks, and if that proves too much, Hypermode will work just fine." She wished for a moment that she had her Speed Booster, because that would really let her power through those rockfalls. When the group reached the top of the stairs, something else seemed to start happening, something the group in Castle Town would also notice. The avatars found themselves unable to move, and everything around them raced as though time were sped up. Castle Town was raided, causing people to leave. Undead creatures then popped up. Kakariko started expanding to accomodate the Castle Town refugees, and that's about when the event stopped. However, the more organic nature of the new Hyrule also meant a new guard was posted by the gate, and the gate was closed again after being disused for so long. When he noticed the avatars approaching the gate, he came to attention and said, "What business do you have in Death Mountain? Nobody goes there since Ganondorf swept the entire Goron race off to who knows where. People are saying he fed them to a dragon, can you believe that?"

I'm more worried about Volvagia than Maxie. I'd rather face six overgrown pups than the Subterranean Lava Dragon himself.

Heads up, Volvagia's actually female. Just saying. I do agree, though, Volvagia's not a dragon you fuck around with.

I'm waiting for GM to post because, to my knowledge, my char and hers are the only ones heading to Death Mtn.

Male here. :P

Sorry for not being on much yesterday. Didn't get much time for breaks because it was a bit of a rush. I've got a week off for Christmas, though, so I have plenty of time to keep up after today. Oh, and do whatever with the guards, because, as you guys said, they're just fodder NPC's. I'll let you guys have full control of the guards to have a bit of fun. I'll try to post for Team Volcano soon. Yes, that's now a thing.

Also, anyone else find it funny that the rocket party would be Team Rocket by that system?

EDIT: Keep in mind you won't have long after this next post. I'm about to get us to the future time period, so you have a bit of time for your characters to have their fun, then you'll need to have them react to the change. I'll let you have the guards to play with for the day or so, but you'll have to have the time skip happen after not too long so you don't get too far behind.

I'm moving us forward in time since all the more interesting stuff is in the future timeline. Plus, imagine the Hero of Time's surprise when he sees a second Master Sword.
That's my mistake. I'll edit that right now.

EDIT: Done. Again, I apologize for that. I posted that near the end of my break and was a bit rushed to finish, and I'm also tired because I'm still getting used to working nights.
Suddenly, Castle Town went dead quiet, with the only sound being the cuccoo clucking as it ran from the child that was previously chasing it. Within a blink of an eye, the detail of the town had become far greater, for no apparent reason. It still appeared cartoony, but was at least more pleasant to look at with higher quality sounds. Guards rushed to Ajax's location, pikes pointed in his direction. One approached him and said, "Care to explain why you kicked that bush over?" In the side room with all the pots, the guard in the corner suddenly seemed to snap out of his stupor and stride over to the three that were carelessly smashing the pots. "Stop! Those aren't yours to just smash like that!" The guard lowered his pike, obviously meaning full well to use it if he had to. Bee, Jack, and Bass would also likely notice the sudden change in detail.

Samus stopped momentarily in Kakariko, and held two fingers to the side of her helmet. "I detected an energy spike. It's definitely crucible energy. I can't seem to pinpoint its source, though." The town couldn't get any quieter, so the only change they noticed was in the detail. Samus stared a moment, then said, "There must be an extremely large fragment here if it can do that. I have a hunch about that Fire Temple. I say we check it out. I have the Varia Suit, so the heat will be no problem at all. Which way is it?"
Pretty much, lol. I'll get that post up. Oh, and cuccoos are staying immortal. Just a heads-up.
Half of the prologue device is here. This time around, rather than being the bulk of the RP, the internet is simply a prologue of sorts to explain why we changed and why we can gain new abilities through these artifacts.
Well, I actually could double back without us having to restart, because we have an entire half of the Crucible here in this world. It's got the energy to rework the worl, just expect a complete u-turn in how the guards behave.
Well, I had thought you would prefer it this way, but if you feel it'd be more interesting to be limited that way I can do that instead. I was mostly trying to streamline this prologue segment.
No, we're not constrained to game mechanics here. Cuccos are killable, environments destructible, but only by us. Game characters are still restricted like that.
