A witch being an expendable character is fine with me. Just keep in mind that if you try to kill Demonxia in her lair, she has an extensive collection of bodies to use buried beneath the floor.
Heh. I'll be in the Navy in a few months.
She's basically a Necromancer-type caster, able to raise the dead to fight for her, so the DWMA would really hate her for the way she uses souls. She doesn't really have much in the way of directly offensive magic; the most she has is a very slow life drain kind of deal involving upsetting the balance of a person's soul to weaken them in battle. Most of her magic is imbuing life into the dead and a few debuffs here and there, but mostly raising the dead. Her animal is a raven and she's very dreary, almost as if she herself were dead. Also, her name's Demonxia. I can give more detail in an actual sheet, but that's a basic description of what she's like.
I agree with this. Playing out the millions of years between the Ark/Nemesis taking off and when the Cybertronians awaken on Earth would be a great opportunity to flesh out that massive gap a bit, and possibly come up with a reason why the war kept going on in the absence of the two factions' leaders. Plus, no humans taking up focus is always nice, though humans don't have to be totally absent to not hog up time. That G1 RP I mentioned earlier did incorporate humans, but only in a way that would bolster development of the Cybertronian characters, such as when Spike was giving one of my OC's a new paint job after his repairs, or when a group of Decepticons raided a military base to find a psychic human.

Also, would a character yanked from another dimension somehow be fine? There'd be no screwing up any timelines because of this, and I can provide a nice explanation in the history for how he got into our dimension.
Okay, now for another question. I know that everyone's required to play a Meister or a Weapon, but could we possibly have a Witch as a secondary character? I have a Witch OC that's fairly old, and it would be nice if I could bring her in here.
It may actually be better to have each person play a pair. What if one person in a pair can't continue? That leaves a Meister without a Weapon, or vice versa, and that creates a bunch of OOC hassle assuming the character ever gets a subsitute or, in the less likely scenario, someone is willing to use an already-created character. There's just far less OOC hassle involved with each person playing a full pair (or trio, such as Death the Kid having two Weapons).
I've been keeping an eye out for a casual Soul Eater RP. And not really incorporating canon much other than lore works for me, since I really only like Soul Eater for the setting, not the story. I'll try this out.
That should help out with the organization.

Also, Phil, it might have been a good idea to say characters instead of students. If people see Harker listed as a student while in his sheet it says he graduated a while back, they may get a bit confused.
I'm actually looking for the GM right now.
