Nobody's Battlerama!

I made Aurelia with the purpose of being faster and agile, dodging and jumping around while firing off attacks. I'd go so far as to say that Evvie is significantly stronger than Aurelia, and not just by a bit but quite a lot.

Quote taken directly from the character sheet. Such an explosion, regardless of whether or has shrapnel or not, is still a shockwave capable of tearing a leg apart if it is close enough. It does say "annihilating" after all.

I hadn't really thought about it, but now that you mention it I do think that it's a bit much that she could, potentially, destroy anything with but a thought and a snap of her fingers.

Think I'd like to fight Evvie with a power level of roughly ~27 which should match Aurelia's power.
If possible, I'd like a sort of rocky environment: A place with rocks jutting out of the ground, some large hills etc. you get the idea, I hope.

Alright, that's fine. The backstory she had was one where she grew up wanting to go on an adventure, but wasn't because her life was pretty much already decided: She was promised to some guy and ended up having to marry him and be the dutiful housewife. Then, upon her death, she wished for an Adventure and woke up again in some multiverse-kinda world where everything was possible, and she had the abilities listed above.

...I'll just post it as it is, might edit it to be a bit more detailed later.

Character Sheet

Name: Aurelia - The Reaper's Daughter(self-proclaimed title)

Species: Looks human, but actual is unknown.

Age: 112

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Aurelia's most prominent features are her long snow white hair, her ruby red eyes and athletic body. While she's slender and keeps a fairly curvaceous body, there is no denying for those that looks at her, that there is muscle aplenty beneath the skin and gracious curves of her body. She stands at about 160 cm tall, being neither very tall nor very small. Like her eyes her lips are also strikingly red, although leaning more towards a lighter shade. Her skin isn't entirely pale, having instead a very faint tan.

Equipment:
A very large, black scythe which functions as an extension of her powers; it's not so much a physical object as a representation of her magic. A cloak with a hood that she usually has up, concealing her face in its shadows.

Personality:
Aurelia is what can best be described as a trickster. She's polite and kind, yet has a certain penchant for being rather vague when she says something, or doing something that would utterly confuse whoever she's talking to. This applies especially to whenever she's fighting. She's not one for brute strength, and although she has plenty of brute force she prefers to outmanoeuvre he opponent; counter their attacks or make a move that would be almost impossible to predict. She prefers hit & run tactics and smaller and faster attacks rather than the slow ones that require a lot of power, although she is capable of those as well.

Abilities:
- Master of fighting with a scythe.

- Enhanced physical capabilities, making her roughly two-three as strong as a human, five times the endurance and up to seven times as fast.

- Skilled at gymnastics. She's good enough to perform various flips and jumps, as well as what increased balance necessary to perform such things.

Powers:
- Short to medium range teleportation: the longer the distance the longer time it takes to teleport.

- Partial and Full Shapeshifting: She can take on just about any shape ranging from dragons to cats, although the shape of her shapes is limited. She cannot make herself into a dragon the size of a house, but she can still become quite a bit larger than she would otherwise be. This ability also allows her to withstand heavier punishment or gain other benefits. It all depends on what shape she takes, or partially takes. A dragon's scales, for example, will reduce the damage she takes from an attack.

- Shadow/Dark Magic: Using a mix of shadows and raw energy, she can conjure and control it, using it in a variety of ways with the only limits being what she can imagine. It could be a bolt of darkness that she sends towards her enemy; it could be a shield, extra length on her scythe's blade. It's not so much a specific ability as much as it is just manipulation of energies.

- Illusion magic. Although she isn't a master in it, she's skilled enough to create life-like illusions of herself or other small things; nothing big like altering the area they are in.

Other:
- Approximate Power level is ~25-30.
- It's possible that she would use her looks and body to distract her opponent, bring them off balance when she turns from suddenly hostility to seducing whoever she's facing.

Background:
Aurelia was born as a nobleman's daughter. She had everything she ever wanted, got everything her small thing pointed at or her voice called out for. But she never really got what she really wanted, a chance to travel. All the dolls and fine dresses were meaningless. None of them would serve any purpose in the real world where she wanted to go out into.

As she grew up, she trained with her two brothers in the courtyard, knowing that she would need to know how to fight if, or when, she got to travel in the world by herself. She needed to know how to defend herself. Strangely enough, it was neither sword nor axe of mace that caught her fancy. Nor halberd or spear or bow. No, none of those weapons seemed to work for this little girl. One, however, did catch her fancy. It was the hoe with which the farmers used to harvest their crops, she asked if a weapon like such a one existed, and she was introduced to the scythe, the weapon of the Grim Reaper.

With this, she trained and she became good. She was an amazing fighter with it in only a short number of years, and was soon able to defeat both of her brothers in combat at the same time.

Now, throughout the years, Aurelia had tried to run away from home and set out on travels on her own, but each time her father had found her again. Aurelia was never able to go out on the adventures she wanted herself, she was married away and had four children, each more lovely than the other. She loved them dearly and would never trade them for anything.

When the day came for her to pass on, the priest stood beside her death bed, and in a consoling voice that one used to every person that knows they are about to die, asked.
"Do you have a final wish?"

Aurelia smiled and looked up in the roof above her bed. She had one wish, the one wish she had had since she could walk.

"I want to go on an adventure." And then she gave her last breath and her eyes glazed over. Her family wept and mourned, for their mother and grandmother was dead, but she still smiled.

Aurelia smiled because she had woken up again, woken up on a strange place, beside a hooded stranger. The hooded stranger was silent, and reached into his cloak. From the depths of his cloak he drew forth a large scythe, made of a light black metal, a cloak much akin to his own as well as other pieces of clothing, and a bag of supplies. All of this much too big to have fit under his simple cloak and hood.

It was also at this point that he spoke; he explained that she was on the endless planet, a place of adventure and danger, a place that held everything she had dreamed of through her life. He also told her of what he had given her. Not the physical belongings but something more. He had given her abilities, magic. He told her that she was able to change form at will, she would be able to change her physical appearance at will, as well as teleport short distances and control the shadows with her scythe.

Curious and half disbelieving, the old lady still attempted, picturing a beautiful yet frightening young woman. She closed her eyes and when she opened them again, found herself to be the exact replica of this young woman she had picture in her mind. She then tried to picture herself standing on the other side of the hooded man, and she disappeared and reappeared behind him.

"Pick up your weapon and try it too." The man said.

She smiled and tried to do as the man told her, try it.

She concentrated on the blade and swung it. A blade of blackness shot forth from it as she swung. This truly wasn't a normal weapon. She smiled wider and jumped up to hug him, only to realise that he had disappeared.

Shrugging lightly, she adorned the clothing he had given her, put on the cloak and hood, and went out for what she had always dreamed of - Adventure.
