While I prefer to call your guy a Shade or Wraith (simply because it sounds more intimidating, or at least not as childish xD.

Alright, by virtue of the Bogeyman being what he is (and the obvious weaknesses) that Shift is okay. As for the gun... It's a tricky one. Normally I would flat out refuse, but you bring up some valid points, Aeon. He'll keep the gun, but only have six bullets - half a clip in your standard handgun, if I'm not mistaken? And if I am mistaken, just make it half the amount of bullets of a normal handgun. Giving him too many bullets would be a bit much, imo, so better that he has to preserve them. What do you say?

By not enough to work with you mean that you want to wait for the other players to post first? The first couple posts are intros where you wake up, perhaps write your own "transition" to the new world, like Aeon, Frenetic & I did.

I made an edit to the comment, so him having the money is possible since it isn't something that would break the game. Also, am I the only one that would find it entertaining to see a guy who's used to get everything with money, suddenly stand with money, but they are completely useless? The gun, however, is still a no-go. And there's still the matter of what his Mythic Creature is.

I believe I stated what creature I am appropriately enough for anybody to find it easily.

Yeah, you made it rather easy, but having it clearly written near the top of the character sheet (right after name, age, gender, like in my own sheet) makes it much easier for those where it isn't as easy.

So, yeah, Data. He also won't have the guns, but he can have the money. It does say that a "few odds and ends in your pockets" is possible, so a small bag of money could be his. The gun, however, is off limits. While it won't do much good around people who can control the earth or screw you mind over twice with an iron rod, or freeze your gun, it's still something that doesn't really fit in here.

I'll be going to bed in little over ½ and hour, possible a bit more, depends on whether or not I want 8 or 9 hours of sleep :P

Also, if you want, you can take control of Nishino if it's only some minor interaction. I'll send you a few details you should be aware of if you want to do this. I think it'd be better/more interesting to read if they actually did have a bit of interaction to begin with, instead of it ending with your guy just standing there.

An interesting character, and one I'm looking forward to see make his appearance. However, there's a bit of a problem. What you seem to want him to transform into isn't a mythological creature, or at least not one that I know of. If you can point me in the direction of one such creature who possesses the same powers as Shifty, then there's no problem. If not, and you simply made it up, then I'll have to ask you to find a mythic creature and make him capable of shifting into that. Also, he dislikes Youkai & Sidhe? Oooh... he's not going to like Lily, then xD The kind hearted girl and the gritty and amoral man... This is gonna be fun /)^3^(\

Another thing, and this goes for all of you. One thing I forgot in the initial first was to add a section to the Character sheet:

Alternative Form: (What kind of creature are you?)

This one. What creature are you? It is to make it easier for everyone to figure out what kind of creature your character can shift into, as opposed to having to guess based on what the powers says.
