Really enjoyed the Dok's welcome - so blunt and direct, I couldn't help but smile. Speaking of direct, I'm surprised that Amaretto's entrance. For a hunter, I'd thought he take a more stealth approach. I'm in America, though I don't think I mentioned it before.Wasn't Dawnscroll in Australia?

Amaretto? A Hunter?


Theá is a hunter, Amaretto is a brute who uses raw power to force his way through obstacles. Yes, he has her blessing, but that's only because he has demonstrated his abilities as a hunter (he an be somewhat stealthy, and he doesn't kill unless he has to: Another one of Theá's philosophies).

And Dawn is a 'Murican :P

No matter how cautious he is, the name "Silver Scalpel" and "Trying to reawaken the dead" will inevitably come up in different places. He's used a lot of different names, yes, but he has used his own a few times (You said that yourself, I think), even if only in passing. Undoubtedly the Cult of Laughter will probably have had spies and such out looking for him as well... They could have spread such rumours as well... Anywho, I don't think Amaretto has said anything that would tell of knowledge he couldn't possibly possess, at least not yet.

Alight. Very short post but I don't know what else to really write.

"He's slow," Amaretto muttered. "No way the place can be so big it takes several minutes to answer the fucking door."

"Patience," Theá chided in a whisper. "Lose it, and your hunt will fail, your prey will escape."

"This isn't a bloody hunt, it's me visiting him."

"Be that as it may, you still need to be patient... He's on his way."

Amaretto didn't reply, he just kept silent and watched the door, his expression one that clearly spoke of not giving a flying fuck about anything. The door opened, and he looked down at what one could call an average unicorn stallion. He wasn't much to look at, not a lot of muscle which indicated lack of training or ever wearing armour. He looked, if anyone, like a mean bastard. He certainly didn't give the best impression of caring about niceties by the way he glared balefully at Amaretto. Or, well, he couldn't really see much in the way of the stallion's body, but judging by how he spoke and what little he could see of his face, he found that he lacked the grittiness that he had come to associate with soldiers. Either that, or he was just a guy with a stallion body and a foal's face.

"I've come for none of those things," he said, voice calm yet powerful. "Rumours are abound with a stallion named Silver-something who has been working with resurrection. I'm looking for him, and what you said certainly makes you sound like a doctor so I'll just assume that you're him. I've come to buy your services; I lost most of my friends and family in a Whitegold raid a while back, and I want them back." He paused for a moment, studying what little he could still see of Scalpel's face. "And I can pay, not in gold or gems, but something else. Something far more valuable."

And yeah, it is a myth, but all rumours/myths/thingies have a grain of truth in them :P Anywho! It's hard writing Amaretto as being gritty and angry again without insulting Scalpel (god knows he wants to throw a few curses in his face xD). I don't think it would go over very well, though.

He is... And while most would say that having a characteristic that's "more" than a canon character is a recipe for mary sue or something to hate... Well, he IS a "scot" and they have a reputation for being big.

Dunno about that, but yeah, the beaches are the reason the germans even bother visiting us xD Without them... we'd only visit them for cheap beer xP

So... yeah. The majority of Denmark's tourism is our beaches and coastal cities. We don't have much in the way of fantastic landscapes like the scottish highlands, or the norwegian mountains and such. Still, I think our forests are beautiful xD Anywho, it's late, I'm going to bed. I'll see how Scalpel deals with another surprise visit tomorrow :P
