25 y/o guy, currently student and living by myself, yada yada.
Veteran Roleplayer, with over 7-8 years of experience in both Pen & Paper and text based, with minimal LARP Experience. I have a great interest in fantasy settings and tends to dislike Post Apocalypse, or generally anything involving guns and modern weaponry. Gimme a sword and the ability to throw fire, and I'm happy.
I have relatively high standards and find myself somewhat disappointed if my posts are below 500 words, preferring ~1000+ whenever possible (sadly, not always easy). At the same time I expect similar standards from my fellow players. I also have a tendency to play female characters in spite of my being a guy, mainly because I find it more entertaining than playing the big burly guy.

Hmm... Just a question to my fellow players: Do any of you have a goal for your character? Given the nature of this RP, there's a need for a personal character arc, so to speak. I have a goal for my own character, but just thought I'd throw it out there that it would be a good idea to have one.

It depends on where. Olnesse is a coastal city, so he might be brought to my character to get treated for whatever wounds he has, though she won't be his rescuer.
Also, from what I understood from Aeon, you'll have to be pretty damn convincing to be a shipwrecked former pirate. He did make it fairly clear that the waters are nigh on impossible to cross without getting swallowed whole. This is your first post here, so try to talk it over with Aeon first. Not sure if he'd even allow a shipwrecked dude/pirate (Also, what are pirates good for? No merchant ships to plunder).

There was mention of a character which was half cat, so I guess it's possible to get something semi-anthropomorphic.

As far as I understoo, characters will be revealed once the RP starts, but will remain hidden until everyone has made one and been approved.
Well, I can say this much: My character is a healer living in Olnesse where I'll start. (Healer by means of herbs, poultices, bandages and such. No magic involved). That might help someone get started.
