That was not how Xune had expected Bones to distracted the guardian, to throw himself in front of her and push her away. In hindsight she could have tried to make a barrier, but it almost felt as if something was messing with time and forcing it into the least optimal order. So likely if she had tried then the magic wouldn't have kicked in till after she was hit given snaping your fingers was faster than running and intercepting a blow and yet her magic had gone off after the tackle. Something truly was wrong with how time and space were acting if her componetless spells which were cast pretty much at a thought were slower than someone running across the room. Still she had been pushed out and that shouldn't technically count as her moving as she often got moved by others. So she could start casting right away. If she was right about time not acting right then even a long chant would be able to actually happen before an attack came. Xune wanted this whole headache over having her normal companions both need to go and being left with bones while having what she did interpreted as if the most bad faith genie was watching and determining how things went.

" Come you fallen heroes, come you fallen mages come you fallen healers. Come hear my words follow my commands. Come and be bound serve me, protect me, kill my foes, and save my allies. Come Rise rise from your graves Rise a from the afterlife, come your souls are mine your powers are mine. Come my army of fallen heroes, come my legends to be " She chanted the magic ritual and necrotic circles coming to life under her to empower her spell and allow her to not need to corpses to bring forth the undead conjuring them straight from the beyond under her control. " Rise your fighters and attack my foe, rise you mages and strike them down with magic come your healers save and protect them " She commanded as the magic continued. " Protect and save my ally do not let him taste death again"

The break down is 20 types of various warrior types ( any martial skill specialist) 20 mages and any type preferring those with skills that are powerful against undead, and 10 healers namely those that use magic to heal and support their allies. All 50 undead are also given a b rank soul fire barrier.

Xune didn't expect the Skelton to run run away, she was used to others that listened to her that did what she said. Now she just had bones and he was to her a coward so much for trying to put a stop to the pyramid when he was to scared to even face the final hurdle. this left Xuen to in her mind do this herself. The attack from the golem had grazed her as her shields hadn't come on line and it was focusing on her. Her skeletons were useless and destroyed. So she was going to have issues dealing with this damned guardian without a distraction.

" Either you get the fuck back in her bones you those friends of yours are coming back to deal with this! " She shouted to demand the Skelton at least distract this guardian " Just buy me a few moments to focus and i can deal with this guardian" she was somewhat bluffing about bringing the old adventures back she didn't have the corpses right here so if she wanted to do it she would need to focus to bring them back and if she got that time she could do far better.

The guardian would come at her and Xune could try to skitter off, but she had her barrier up so she had at least some defense she just needed to block the blow. She would have to put up something solid a wall of ice. and with a snap she cast a spell. the idea was to simply cast the ice in the way of the blade trying to get the blade to be stopped by the ice or slowed so the barrier could hold it.

[color=a187be][/color] Xune stopped her skeletons for a moment when the skeleton spoke, things she had no desire to hear. She would take what she wanted, she had taken and taken since coming to this world, from her freedom, to the relics to those she surrounded herself she took them to some degree. The man had died trying to destroy this structure and clearly didn't know its true history. Already damage had been done and if more damage had to be done then fine she would just have to repair it. It wasn't like that would be the first time the pyramid had suffered serious damage. It was the key to bringing the great necromancer to this world and breaking him.

" This is the black pyramid of the great necromancer, not even the spirit king could destroy it that anyone thought they could was foolish " she said not at all hiding the venom in her words " The only way to deal with it is to give it a new master, a master who will bring its old one back and break him open and take his essence " she would break a god a lesser god but a god none the less. she would take what she wanted even if she had to do it alone.

Xuen would take her skeletons into the chamber and watch as the final mangled guardian arose a massive golem of bone. The Thone must be the way to usurp control of the pyramid to make it's power hers and be one step closer to the summoning. The problem was getting past the golem and it was not wanting to let her just take over as it swung at her. thing time she was not just letting the skeletons move her, they were to slow so she left them where they were but snapped as she jumped from them to skilled away while she conjured soul flame barriers to protect them and her skeletal ally. " You bunch help him keep it distracted" She ordered minions.

Xube was glad to finally be free from the chains, but it seemed she had a little overboard. The room was unstable, hopefully the pyramid coukd repair itself as she doubted the black stone was easy to get. Still there was no way to undo what had been done. Hopefully there would be no more surprises like those chains,but knowing this place she would have issues with her main magic getting siphoned for awhile yet. Having the skeletons pick her up carry her xune looked about on where to go next.

It seemed the blast had managed to break part of the walls revealing a passage deeper into the pyramid. " Let's keep moving we need to go deeper to make this place mine Xune called out to the others and as she did she urged her skeletons towards the hole in the wall

Xune was growing more and more annoyed as time passed on, though if this place only drained her soule flame then it was finally time for the back up plans. Xune hated having to fall back on her other magics they were not what she studied and not the path to power she walked. Still they were about to turn out to be useful. Mantis and the skeleton were not exactly making much progress and she was stuck in the fucking chains. Xune figured she would just have to do everything herself, well that was how she had originally planned it. The great necromancer had gained his power himself so she should not have to rely on others to take it from him. Xune just needed a complex enough spell to get around this drain that had been limiting her. Still she needed to not kill her allies despite how to her they did little.

" Burn and freeze, be solid and shattered, crack and crumble. Spirits come and surround, protect from the hot and the cold " Xune chanted as she weaved ger next powerful spell. The idea was to summone the ever useless barriers around her allies while subjecting the scavengers, the constructs, and tge pylons to a wave of freezing lice followed by a wave of burning heat in at eytempt to essentially shatter them via thermal expansion at a rapid pace.

Xune was annoyed she was still not free and the pyramid was still draining her. Just how much energy did this thing need? This stupid place would have the energy it wanted if it would just stop these stupid games. At least tge others were doing sone fighting even if she was stuck here being drained. Though as they seemed in dire straits more people came in. Xube had not heard of others coming to this place let alone getting ahead of them. They seemed to know the structure of this place as well. Xune didn't like it she wasn't here to destroy the pyramid like the others she wanted it for herself.

There was just one problem in all this she was still held suspended in the air being drained. She needed to get free. The skeletons were useless they were just around to carry her in truth. There was only one option and xune didn't like it. She wasn't small or helpless. It was a weird pride she had built perhaps after being forced to live as an experiment.

" WOULD SONEONE JUST CUT ME DOWN ALREADY " she called out already beyond annoyed abd tired of being crippled by environmental effects.

The pyramid could not wait it seemed and Xune regretted not having a more trust worthy steed. The skeletons were just not fast enough to carry her away allowing the energy to grab and pick her up. What was more annoying is that she felt it weaken her draining away her lesser spells. She could not help but wonder why just everything around here seemed made to focus on keeping her from having a moment to do anything for herself. There were worse situations to be stuck in and Xune had other spells. She could always summon forth the dead, but with how this place ate up her magic that would be pointless. Maybe if she got some time not being the pyramid's primary focus. The skeleton they had found, bones, was it seemed having his Vietnam flash back moment with this all going wrong. Xune needed to get out of this stupid trap and perhaps get the damned pyramid feed then it would bow to her hopefully. Still at least it would stop stealing her energy and magic even if it didn't submit to her.

" Don't lose your head skeleton this is far from over, i could always bring back those friends of yours" xune said that she was still going to be saving for now. " Just keep playing distraction " she continued remaining calm as she decided on what was best.

" Come fire of death flames of unlife wash upon my foes drown them in the chill of death reduce their bone to ash" She called out casting a spell to unleash another powerful blast of soul flames to envelope the room and hopefully sate the pyramid.

Xune sighed she was really getting why the great necromancer wanted to make a world where his will was the only one. Having the others run about and mess with her experiments was annoying. Xune had at least sone results as the platform was clearly of importance given the guardians. Though that could just be because Mantis had attacked the pillars instead of waiting for a command. Still this was letting Xune gather data at least until the pylons decided to attack her. That was just great and with her mind she urged her skeletal mounts out of the way and towards the center of the raised disc. Xune had an idea, but she needed cover.

" Cover me I have an idea!" Xune called out to tge others once she was at the center. The pyramid had wanted energy before so maybe she could supply yet more and take control or force it into a shut down. That was the best idea she could come up with as protection was unlikely to last they would just have to endure.

So as the fight kicked off xune would be in the center channeling power from herself inton the pyramid assuming the pylons would take it in and if she powered them something would happen. She had to trust the others to protect her while she did this.

Xuen watched the lights move about the chamber trying to figure out the arcane machinery, it was without a doubt far more than she had expected and still could not get over. The question was where was the core? Xune doubted it was the raise area, that was just to simple with only the one main trap. Still it seemed important and spending time here just seemed to constantly drain her of power. She wanted to take control and get out of this inability to rely on her magic to protect her. There was little else she could do but head to the circle of pylons, they were the most important looking thing around and with this place not being the labyrinth she expected she might as well try see if she got lucky.

" this place has a nasty habit of eating my spells though i can try s few things" Xune replied urging her skeletons towards the pylons, but keeping a distance if she felt the draw grow stronger. Should it grow stronger she would pause her skeletal bearers and send just one forward. She would channel what power she could to keep the skeleton animated and order it into the circle of pylons. She needed to see if it just wanted more energy or was going to attack anyone who entered the circle. She might have to feed the pyramid again, but that was a small price to pay.

Xune truly did dislike this place sucking at any spell she cast. Ryker had retreated with the other mercenary so it was her mantis and this new wild undead stuck in the pyramid. When they coukd reateat like the others into her pocket dimension they would not be leaving this place that way. The only way was to get to the core abd to take control. The undead did seem to have the wrong impression despite xune being carried by undead, which she switched out with fresh ones, that she was here to destroy the black pyramid. That this place had remained here so long was proof of that folly.

" Destroy? Oh no I plan to put this place under new management. If you couldn't tell the maker of this and I are two of a kind, still at least it will be in better hands " she explained before urging her new skeletons fowrad with a mental comand.
