Kate's 1x1 Requests (M or F / High Casual - Adv)

Hi there, I’m Kate.

I’m looking for some high casual to low advance players, either male or female to help me bring a few stories to life. I’m not a rule follower, so I’ll not be laying any of those bad boys out, but I’m sure you understand what it means to write high casual to low-advance.

I can post 2-3 a week usually and just ask that you’d assist me in locking down the plots and making the story go somewhere with good times around every turn!

Some of my ideas are below. Feel free to post here or shoot me a note.

"Unwanted Honor - Taken"

Given a gift to sense movement in all directions around her moments before the air shifts, Septa is forced into the Fortude Training Academy for service to the King of England, her place amongst the greatest assassins meant to be an honor - a gift. She grew up in a small village and never expected to end up in the confines of the castle, hating the idea of harming another and being completely unprepared for the training she must endure. To be linked up to a master assassin is rare and yet because of the promise that she will one day be great, she is given as the Apprentice to Darius to mold and make into everything she has the potential to be.

I love assassin Rp's almost as much as mafia, so I'm looking to play the trainee which is rare for me and need someone to place the master, maybe 10 years or so older than her. She'll have talent and skill, but untapped, untouched and quite an attitude to boot.

"Temple of Amurz - Taken"

Katana is the temple priestess, her only purpose in life is to attend to the god Amurz's every needs, his human manifestation a strong warrior like male, but he has not been to the realms of earth in many years. Her position is but the next in line as her mother before her and the one before her, the women impregnated by mid-life if the god had not shown up to claim the virgin. She is around twenty years old and would be in her prime for the god to appear, but many years away from being removed from her position and given the chance to have a daughter that would then take her place.

You would play her bodyguard, perhaps someone that she cannot resist. He would need to be a warrior as well, just come in from the battlefields or something of that nature - totally up to you. The idea of forbidden love is one that turns most of us on and this would be the ultimate sin. Might get a little interesting with an angry God after them.

"War of Days"

I'm yearning for a vampire story that brings out all of the incredible emotion that must be experienced by such a powerful, ancient, sexual creature. I've not completely plotted this one out, but I'm looking for a partner that can help me spin and create the story, whatever it might be. I'm thinking a vamp/wolf war. My character would be the daughter of the eldest vamp.

"The Cry of Esper - Taken"

Many forces have tried to take Esper over the years, the fortress of ice build high into the sky as a means of protecting not only the queen, but their precious stones of life. A new power had arisen from the East and the whispers in the wind speak of bloodshed and horrors that haven't been seen since the demon's escaped and ravaged the earth, purging from the core all means of innocence and youth. Those days are long gone, but Varin remembers them all to well, her people still scarred from the loss of their children and loved ones. This new power is something to behold and yet she will stop at nothing to ensure the safety of her race and her tight grip on the crown.

This story is open for the male ruler of the other people, the right hand of the queen or both if you like. I want to build the world of Esper and develop quite a political stance. My queen will be dominate and demanding - hope you're "up" for the challenge.

"Of the Light and Dark - Taken"

Looking to write an angel/demon rp where God and the Devil have come to an accord because of the fall of humankind. They will each send a representative to earth (one from hell and one from heaven) to work together to determine the fate of people everywhere. I'm still fleshing this out a little, but the tension and innocence/evil between the two characters is almost palatable in my mind.

Opening Scene:
In remembrance of one race, the deliberations began and for the first time in the scope of an eternity, the doors of heaven welcomed the scholars of hell to sit at their holy table, to converse on a solution that could change the destructive history that was to come – for them all. Words were spoken and ideas offered from both sides, but it was Malachi in the end who presented a simple union of the royal blood from each side that won the quorum those many years ago. And so it was set in the book of the life that the princess of God’s left hand would join her spirit with the prince of the devil’s right and together they would bring about a paradigm shift that would lay cracks in the foundation of what was to come and forever change tomorrow’s tomorrow.

“You do realize that Gabriel will never agree to this, do you not?” The loud voice wrapped tightly around the smaller man, his long white fingers incessantly smoothing his thick multi-colored brow as his eyes shifted slightly to the larger angel.

“I’m not giving him a choice. I was given authority by the Master to offer up any solution that I must in order to change the ending of existence as we all understand it to occur. He would’ve allowed me to send anyone or do anything… this isn’t a choice. It’s a sacrifice that we’re making. Period.” Malachi’s voice was tight with angst as he was old friends with the left hand of God and knew this wasn’t going to be a pleasant visit.

His companion stopped as they approached the great hall, the white pillars rising far above them and lifting deep into the recess of the clouds. Malachi stopped as well and turned to Nathaniel. “What? Are you not coming?”

“Absolutely not. You’re on your own with this one. Seraphine is his only daughter and his mate is dead. This is not going to be my plait to deliver the news, nor is it enjoyment for my eyes to witness. Do what you must, but do it in haste, old friend.” Nathaniel departed as Malachi turned toward the hall, his large chest moving with a slight tremble, his heart shuddering at the very thought of the next few moments and the decisions made that spun them into existence.

Chances are Seraphine would never come back home. Chances of her living through any of the decisions made and sacrifices offered were so equivocal and yet what chance did they really have but to extend their best, their brightest – the most loving and kind of their females for this union?

“May God have mercy on my soul,” Malachi whispered as he walked through the large alabaster doors, the warm winds of heaven reaching up to wrap his robe tightly around him and remind him that God in fact already did.

"Arkham"

There is nothing like the batman, but he has to be played right, wouldn't you agree? I do enjoy playing catwoman. The tension and struggle, the leaps and seductive laughs. I want to create a story with someone using these cannon characters with loads of good old fashion ass kicking scenes, a bad guy (joker anyone?) and yummy tension between our players. Good and Evil never mix, but it sure is fun to wish that they would.

"Futile Resistance - Taken"

I want to write a civil war love story. I'm in need of a soldier and I plan on playing a witch. I'm thinking this one will have a bit of a time travel element to it for shits and giggles.

I would also love to do something with the following:
Black Dagger Brotherhood
Hansel and Gretel (the movie)
Any twist on Oz or Alice in Wonderland
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Along a Dark Road (Athos & Kate)

She hiccuped softly and smiled at his claims, nodding and pointing toward the darkness that lay below in the valley ahead of them. "I do believe that we might run into a bit of trouble in the forest, but now that I appear like an old woman to those that would cause a princess harm, we should be a little more protected."

The sun hid itself behind the clouds and all wildlife seemed to grow weary and muted as they neared the forest, the path laid out before them whittled into the grass with light brown stones that were well-worn and pressed deep into the earth. Travelers into their beautiful city had only one entrance and one exit and yet the width of the road allowed for only one traveler at at time. A smile touched her lips at the means of conversation that must have occurred time and time again along the road when two travelers found themselves with the dilemma of who might yield. She looked over at her companion as the forest loomed ahead and touched her bag.

"I have several weapons and am quite good at hand to hand combat as long as there are not more than two opponents before me. The last time I traveled this way I fell prey to the situation handed me because there were six of them and one of me, all of my father's men having been taking to the ground. If not for my quick feet and desperate desire to breathe for another day I'm not sure I'd have made it out alive."

They paused just before the forest, large dark trees rose up before them creating a curtain effect, the narrow entrance into the once lively wooded area was tight and shrouded in shadows. Lillith squared her shoulders and swallowed hard, looking at Lyall with pseudo conviction and smiled. "Let our adventure began, right?"
