Ryu walked along and ducked down a hallway clutching his right hand which had began glowing faintly and burning. When he looked down at it he noticed that the golden light that usually shown through was not masked by a purple and black light.
"Ryu are you alright?"Jain asked him
"I'm not sure...but I feel stronger somehow....like I can do almost anything." he said while Jain watched the mark on his hand fade away only to be replaced by a new darker looking mark. Neither of them noticed the dark cloud that had shrouded his deck...

Kaito knelt next to his two friends and tried to figure out what was going on. After a while he lifted them up and started carrying them toward the nearest town. Upon reaching the town Kaito, now drained physically, begins to slump and sag before finally collapsing on the ground exhausted and weak.
