Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: Return of the Fortune Cup

45 years after the original Fortune Cup Kaiba Corp decides to hold a second. Using only the rules allowed during the time of the original Fortune Cup meaning many people won't be able to compete using the Xyz and pendulum monsters they have gotten used to. Turbo Duels and Regular Duels rule this tournament and Kaiba corp is using this as a way to bring people together around the old style of the game connecting parents with children. But Kaiba Corp has a sinister secret. Someone has worked their way to the top and intends to use the company to resurrect the Dark Signers thousands of years early. Now its up to a new group of people to find the Signers and help save the world. This is what happens when I watch Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds from the beginning. Anyway I've always had a thing for the 5Ds universe so i figured why not bring it back in some way. Now as many know there are only 6 Signers but you could easily be a Dark Signer if you wanted. Just a heads up we will all get a Majestic form is the RP gets that far.(signers) Feel free to let me know o your interest and any ideas you may have. Just a quick slew of answers i know will be asked. Yes i will allow custom archetypes. Yes you can create your own Signer Dragon and no we wont be making any new signer marks.

Akira awoke to the bright sun shining in through his window, his eyes opened and he smiled looking around the room at the various model kits of random kinds. Planes, Cars, Boats, even Tokusatsu heroes and Anime characters lined his shelves. "Well its a brand new day," he said standing before striking a pose from one of his favorite Sentai Red heroes. "Lets make a show of it." He grinned to himself and walked out to the kitchen to start preparing his breakfast while passing the microwave he noticed the time on the clock and dropped the eggs he was holding in his mad dash for the couch. He jumped over the back of the couch and grabbed the remote turning the tv on just in time to catch the start of the Super Hero Time block. "Man I almost missed it." he said getting back up to clean his mess and finish his breakfast. That's when he first heard the sound of a wind chime. Huh I thought all the windows were closed. Oh well. he thought to himself as he sat down with his breakfast and began eating while watching the tv but the chimes kept going getting louder and louder until Akira felt a sudden gust of wind. "What in the world is going on?" he said looking around for a brief moment before seeming to black out... When Mr. Ishida came home all he saw was the plate still covered in half eaten food and the tv on. He walked through the house calling for Akira not getting an answer. "Maybe the boy finally got some friends. Guess I'd better clean up after him" he said shrugging and picking up the plate and carrying a new model kit to his sons room for when he got home.

Name: Akira Ishida Age: 17 Gender: Male Designation: Child X(10) File Photo: Dossier(Personality): Akira is a tad bit childish for 17 a huge fan of tokusatsu he often quotes his favorite heroes as ways of empowering those around him or even himself. Raised just outside of Tokyo he was happy to see his family move into the city. Developing a knack for Model Kits helped keep him busy while he waited for people to get home from work which his parents seemed to always be involved in somehow. The Model Kits helped him pass time since his parents never cared for letting him play video games. Many revere him for his patience with the Kits which he later uses in strenuous situations to try and keep calm. Other: Voice Actor: Nolan North, Control Method: Attack protocols prioritized making him weaker to incoming attacks. Baby- Name:Poyomon Gender:male Attribute: none Appearance: Technique: Acid Bubbles- Spits highly acidic bubbles from its mouth to defend itself from enemies. Personality: Much more childish and quite infant like. Even seems to be very easily upset. In-Training- Name: Tokomon Gender: male Attribute: Data Appearance: Technique: Bite - Suddenly opens its mouth wide, and snaps at the opponent with the fangs growing closely packed within. Bubble Blow - Produces bubbles from its mouth to intimidate the opponent. Personality: Curious and witty. Scared easily and never without questions. Rookie- Name: Patamon Gender: Male Attribute: Vaccine Appearance: Technique: Boom Bubble - Sucks in air then spits it out all at once as an air bullet. Personality: Childlike and witty while still remaining curious at points. Not as many questions but now has a fierce sense of loyalty. Patamon is usually the last to join a fight but will always give the fight 100% when he finally joins. Champion- Name: Angemon Gender: Male Attribute: Vaccine Appearance: Technique: Hand of Fate - Strikes the opponent with its fist shining gold. It may also fire a beam of energy from its fist. Angel Rod - Attacks with its "Angel Rod" Personality: Proud and wise. His sense of loyalty and Justice are nearly unmatched. Ultimate- Name: MagnaAngemon Gender: Male Attribute: Vaccine Appearance: Technique: Excalibur - Draws "Excalibur" from its right arm. Soul Vanisher - Attacks a foe with purifying energy. Personality: Dedicated to helping all who come in need. Believes in protecting any innocent being he sees. Mega 1- Name: Dominimon Gender: Male Attribute: Vaccine Appearance: Image wasnt working so I linked it Technique: Final Excalbur: Draws its "Final Excalibur" sword from its left wrist Personality: Bold and sometime Brash His combat skills have enhanced greatly and he knows it. Mega II/Royal Knight- Name: GuardiAngemon Gender: Male Attribute: Vaccine Appearance: Technique: Blade of the True - Slashes with a cross-shaped energy blast. Golden Ripper - Charges at the opponent with staggering momentum, cutting them to pieces with the blades covering its body. Personality: Proud and Just. Fights with everything in himself for what he believes in and will follow orders given almost blindly.

well im back from the dead with some news. My thought process was to have the RP set right after the events of the Yugioh movie 3D Bonds Beyond Time. So not quite Xyz and Pendulum time. as for custom Archetypes I say why not I always like seeing creativity in people and I have a thought or two of my own so as long as the group as a whole can agree on it I would say it passes. Anyway as for a ban list I havent thought of much except for anything past 5ds era and even then there are bans for that so i think we should all compile the list together.
