Kaito had heard the noise since he hadn't slept and stepped out watching them from around the corner he smiled to himself. I'm glad he's found someone to make him feel accepted. he thought before walking back o the room and sitting on the bed looking out at the moon and the slowly rising sun.

"The assault team just cleared the dungeon we can get to the fourth floor." He said with a grin as he looked out the door before turning back to Maktane.
"And I'd bet my life that your brothers laid their lives down so you could go home..so we all could go home." He said hugging him

Kaito grins and hugs her back.
"We actually have a chance!" He nearly shouted feeling all his hopes and excitement rush through him.

Kaito smiled up at her and nodded. He couldn't help but feel like for the first time he was glad he was trapped in this world. He felt like he finally belonged somewhere.

Kaito looked after Maktane a little confused. Does he think he is in the way too? he thought as he watched him walk inside. He decided to stand there in the alley for a moment thinking silently to himself before walking back into the Apartment and sitting down on the couch.
Kaito dashed forward and rolled Maktane over looking him in the eye.
"You know, You're crazy," he said his eyes filling with tears. "And we're family...your problems are my problems alright? You're not alone anymore Vixen and I are here we can all share the load and be there for each other....If I have to stop trying to be a hero you have to stop being such a loner." he said as a tear falls to the ground.
