Time to go on semi-hiatus. I'll reply once in a while when I can find the motivation, but until then, I need a break.

Thank you Siaya Dragalorn for creating the banner/header!

Hey, welcome to my profile. I've been writing since I was a kid, and it's something I'm very passionate about. I'm not sure what else to put here, but don't hesitate to reach out if you think we'd hit it off. BTW, I'm an adult, so I would prefer to write with people closer to my age.

Seeking: Not...sure...
Limits: Romance-wise, nothing explicit. But I'm pretty lenient for everything else (within reason).
Reply status as of 1/13/24: Getting back to a decent pace.

Thorin had no choice but to stop, his hateful gaze landing upon the elvish prince. Legolas' identity was of no secret to him; the blond elf resembled his father in more ways than one. Jaw set, he remained silent as they were searched, unaware that Kili and Saeril were in danger further into the woods.

Kili struggled against the pull of the spider, but he was being drug in and he'd lost his sword in the struggle. Now that the others were free, he shouted out for help.
At the same time, a she-elf with red hair ran through the clearing, killing three spiders with her bow and knife. In a single move, she killed the spider pulling Kili with an arrow. Tauriel turned to attack another spider behind her, right as a third spider neared Kili's godmother.

Kili pushed himself up, horrified to see the monster moving for Saeril. “Throw me your dagger! Quick!”

Tauriel saw this as well, but she would not give in to Kili's plea. “If you think I’m giving you a weapon, dwarf, you’re mistaken!”
Moving swiftly, she spun and threw the knife, killing the spider that was advancing on Saeril.

Got it! Sorry about that, my memory is horrible.
And yes, that is perfectly fine with me. :D
since Legolas and Tauriel are now in the picture, did you want me to be Tauriel or Legolas? Or are we sharing both? I am just double checking so I don't mess up my next post. XD
Kili was quick to scramble to his feet, panicked to see one of the spiders pierce Saeril. With an angered shout, he swung his sword at one of the spider's 8 legs and hacked it clean off. With speed on Kili's side, he managed to cut off another before he too was hit, then drug down. If the spiders had their way, they would proceed to wrap their victims.

One by one, Bilbo cut the dwarves down from their makeshift prisons. Each was woken from the impact, and each freed themselves from the overly sticky webbing.
"Thorin! They need our help!" Dwalin called as he saw Kili and Saeril, his axe drawn and ready. Thorin moved in to attack, and the rest of the company also got to work taking the terrible creatures down.
Not at all! As a matter of fact, I was very impressed by how well the scenes were written! You wrote out every action and reaction, something I struggle with.
Also, you were more than fair. I do not believe a unruly teenager with zero training has much chance against a well trained knight. Considering everything, Ghent got off easy!

I bet you could! I just loved the crest you drew. I've been itching to try some fan art for this RP...if I can think of something, I will let you know. :D
"I thought you weren't supposed to feed it!" It was alright for Ghent to break the rules, but when Elayra did, he called her out on it. Elayra's taunts seemed to fuel the shadowmire's temper, and before Ghent could protest, the nightmare fuel lunged straight for them. "Look out!"
Without warning, Ghent tackled Elayra from the side and brought her down, sword and all. Hitting concrete was better than being mauled.
"What'd you do?! Leave the portal open?!" Ghent scrambled to his feet, but not without helping Elayra too. They had to get out of here. Fast. Their attacker could, and likely would lunge again.

Police sirens were heard in the distance, and through his inner panic Ghent found himself wishing that the cops were headed their way. Would a bullet even stop this thing? If this was any example of what Wonderland had to offer, Ghent wanted no part of it. Chances were, he wouldn't survive long enough to meet his real father. Earth was looking better all the time.

Mind in a frenzy, Ghent held out an arm to prevent Elayra from charging forward. Ghent barely knew her, but he'd read the signs. Stubborn, hotheaded. Elayra wanted to fight this one out. For Ghent, fighting a demonic shadow with fangs and claws was a big no-no. Running was a big yes.
"Are you insane?! We need to go!"

The spider gave an unearthly screech, one horrible enough to scare Kili into nocking an arrow. The youngest shot, missed, and nearly hit a now-invisible Bilbo as the hobbit worked to free the others. Bilbo looked to the quivering arrow in disbelief while realizing that he could have been hit. Kili's arm was remarkably off.

Abandoning his bow, Kili drew a sword and moved to help his godmother, but he felt something wrap around his leg. They were met with yet another spider of incredible size, and this one was moving fast. Snarling incoherently, the beast started to pull Kili in right as the corpse of a spider fell from the trees and hit the ground. Bilbo was working above to help them, just as Saeril was working below to help her godson.

Another missed attack. Great. This couldn't have gone much worse.
Ghent couldn't keep himself from shouting out in a combination of pain and frustration as he felt his arms twisted in such an unnatural way. Drust's grip was stronger than he could have ever prepared himself for, and any chance of escape was gone.
Since Ghent couldn't move his upper body, he struggled using his lower half and made an attempt to kick Drust in the shins. By now, Elayra had regained her footing, and not a moment too soon. A fourth member had joined the party.

One moment, Ghent was restrained. The next, he was shoved to the side. To prevent himself from hitting the ground, Ghent caught hold of the shelf and gasped as he witnessed a curious looking shadow take form into a terrible, blackened monster with eyes so eerie they rivaled Drust's. "What the...?!"
Feeling Elayra take hold of his wrist, Ghent followed, but he couldn't tear his eyes off of the creature. Was this the Curse? Did the Curse have a form?
Ghent's questions were never voiced; his words were caught in his throat. The roar was enough to snap Ghent out of his trance, and he practically pushed Elayra out the door. Wonderland's curse had made its way to Earth.
"Did you see that thing?!" A stupid question, really. Who could have missed it?
"We have to get out of here!" Ghent wasn't going to stick around to see who won, he moved ahead of Elayra and started to pull her towards the street, oblivious that a second shadow was already perusing them.

“A tobacco pouch. There’s dwarves in these woods.” Dori spoke in a hushed voice, completely unaware that the pouch had belonged to one of them.
Bofur looked to it, then gave a slow nod. “Dwarves from the Blue Mountains, no less. This is exactly the same as mine.”
Bilbo was exasperated; his head ached and his mind was a marbled mess. “Because it is yours. Do you understand? We’re going round in circles. We are lost.”

Kili was seconds away into falling headfirst into a curious looking swamp. The water was a peculiar color, and no good could have come from it. Thankfully, Saeril had caught him by his cloak. At first, Kili was alarmed, but he calmed when he saw that it was only his godmother. If anyone could help recover Fili, she could.
"N-no. Bilbo is right. Fili...is lost." Kili's voice slurred near the end, and his vision seemed to go in and out of focus. Everything appeared tilted; the ground and sky felt as if they had changed places. Desperate for balance, he moved one hand to Saeril's even as she held his face. "He's this way," Kili pointed towards the swamp with his free hand, insistent that this was where his brother had gone. "I have to find him!"

A few of the dwarves began to fight among themselves, and Bilbo tapped his forehead several times in order to clearly think. They needed light.
“The sun. We have to find the sun. Up there. We need to..." The hobbit's words trailed off, and he began to climb the tallest, and nearest tree. Unnoticed by him, there were freakishly large spiderwebs strewn throughout the branches. The webs belonged to arachnids of an equally large size.

"What kinds of creatures?" Kili looked back to Saeril as the rest of the company dismounted from their horses. Kili did the same, and he offered his godmother a hand even though he was so much shorter than she was. It was the thought that counted, anyway. "Were they like the stone giants?"

"Focus, Kili." Thorin knew that his nephew would ask dozens of questions, and now was not the time. Gandalf was leaving them once again.
“Come on. We must reach the mountain before the sun sets on Durin’s Day.” The woods were uninviting, and a broken, paved path lead them towards the darkness. Foliage and shrubbery crowded the travelers, and the trees seemed to reach the sky and block out the possibility that the sun was above them. "This is our one chance to find the hidden door."

It wasn't long before the company became hopelessly lost. "Is there no end to this accursed place?" Thorin searched for the path, but it was gone from view. Increasingly agitated, he and Dwalin both attempted to go in different directions, but they were lost. Hopelessly so. Some dwarves voiced their concerns, others merely mumbled to themselves.

Kili felt himself grow dizzy and confused, and when he looked towards where his brother should have been, he found Fili gone. "Fili?" Worried, Kili started to leave the group in order to find him, but all he'd seen was an illusion. Fili was further up ahead.
The youngest was not the only one hallucinating: Bilbo saw himself walking backwards, and when his head snapped up, he saw himself in Dori's place. Something was terribly wrong here.
