It's an expensive job, requiring a lot of money before even starting it.

Take my partial new computer. I only bought a case(Corsair Carbde 400R), a RAM(DDR3-1600 8Gx2), and a core(Intel i7 Quad, 3.6ghz). Costed 1.1k. I'm already skimping out by reusing my old display and graphics card, power supply, and two 1TB HDDs.

I technically skimped out more, since I really wanted the quad core 4ghz or six core 3.6ghz

Yeah, I had a lot of odd jobs here and there. Reviewed doujins, reviewed e-fiction, recording gameplay(still have that job), testing games(still have the job, killed my computer though >.>), ferrying unknown goods between cities, etc, etc. just the usual.

I'd like to say that I'm thankful we were told NOT to look at what's inside the package for our own safety and liability or whatever

I take pride in the fact that my skill in being whimsy and annoying has not become so rusty in the harsh world of adulthood. Although my tax chastity was lost, felt like half my paycheck went to it, despite the paycheck already unaffected by income tax.
