I'll be posting tomorrow. I have the whole day off and I work tonight, sorry.
Im not first ;_;

I hate you Boerd
You gave me another? I demand 1,000 troops be added to one of those fiefs, otherwise I will be too apread out to make any good defense.

You know my demands are requests

I'm not as cornered as you may think, mate ;)Besides, I specifically requested that location - plus those two territories, if I'm not mistaken, belong to House Hastings. And for whatever reason he has decided to have an excessive number of troops for his size, so it wouldn't be that easy.

I meant if I could block off the border to the rest of your territories, you couldn't gain anymore reinforcements, leaving the other fief to a flat out siege/ Meaning all I would need to do is attack your fields and wait out your starvation. But no, I am not a conquering man.

@Flooby, I have 18, not 19. Where are you getting 19?
Kingdom of Pelataria Literally is cornered, two territories very ripe for plucking, but I'm not the type for harsh conquering. Flooby, you messed up my borders. Now I'll have to redo it.
Also, I decided to just not to the food taxes. If some people didn't take away the population from their fiefs for their towns, meh. If there are any mistakes and FLooby doesn't care, ...then I don't either. I just made sure I followed Flooby's letter to the end.

Edit: Flooby... could you recount the fiefs for mine? I only count 18, but the map keeps showing 20. You could easily give me 197 and 198, take away 210, 209, 208, and 212 and make things a little more structural for others; IF the map is saying 20, that is.
What all did you two buy? Did you try and buy enough arms for an entire nation or something?

If the original IC is any indication, a starting army may be wise. If Lundland ends up getting invaded en masse like it did last time, I don't want to have to worry about calling up the troops - I'd rather them already battle-ready.

It's also been talked about random world events, like bandits. But I was talking about players. That was said by Flooby himself.
Who said free? There is Initial Cost and Upkeep, it's in the rules. You start with no weapons, then buy some with Initial Cost. After that, you pay for Upkeep which is maintenance to make sure they don't go into disrepair.

Apparently, if it is true, you can choose some starting equipment. Which doesn't really make an army. I'd say your starting army is a reasonable starting equipment. If you try to exceed a stable army, you would kill all your people in a season if you really wanted to do that. Now, in the beginning it has been said, you have no reason to have a starting army. I have one to make sure I have the defense ready because I'm siding with "lawful good" and some players may like to be evil and use my morals against me and see a way to kill me. You can never be too prepared.
Essentially free. You have your armory full of gear, you just have to order your people a 'call to arms,' and when you do that, those people stop producing crops, and you have to give them a paycheck every season.

When Flooby calls roll I will make crop sheets for those who are in so that Flooby knows everyone is either stable or not. He will also be able to edit the tables so he knows the math is real and not false.
Roll call?
