Alex had been sitting down at the wall, seemingly rather relaxed in the hail of bullets, though she did not have much to do other than cover their flank as only so many could peek out of the buildings openings. Still soon enough the order for her to use her skills came from their leader, though it was with Bons who showed no love for going with her at all, likely still suspecting of her... He was right, she had been avoiding outright conflict this entire time but she had at least killed, just far from how many she could have.

Motioning for Bons to follow they started to flank the tank, missing the barn being demolished may have been a good thing as their minds were firmly on this task. "You, here" Pointing to the ground she expected him to blow the tank before she moved around the other buildings to flank it. Just as she came out in the open she noticed the tank get a hard round between its turret and chassis, still she was out in the open on the edge of the town so she turned around to scout out any hidden enemies...

"Their retreating.."

Down the road she could see the enemy retreating, and her trained eyes locked onto the highest ranking man "Only a few left." Removing her rifle from her shoulder she took aim, her breath almost none existent as she locked her sights on the man, but as the last effort of the tank was put out by the others she could see him turn around as he pulled the radio off his hip, a look of worry was across his face wasn't it? It was then that their eyes met, even from this distance the light from the flaming tank made her stand out for anyone looking her way.. He knew she had him clocked in and could take him out and yet no shot came, she never pulled the trigger and instead slowly lowered her rifle before getting on the radio "Sir James is correct, they are retreating but I don't have a clear shot. Maybe we should hunker down here, we have taken our objective after all." She was sure no one could have seen that, besides no one could prove anything... She just needed time before she was ready to pull the trigger without hesitation against her own people.

Alex was enjoying her wine and was ignoring the dwarfs pressuring questions on how she had obtained his name, but she was forced to stop when Aurora asked if all humans talked like her or if it was the same for the dwarf, thankfully he answered first but she made sure to back it up. "Aye, what he says is true. However these factors of change also include race, with exceptions." She was about to go back to drinking but stopped just short to continue "Besides I did used to talk like you Aurora, though now I'm hermit so I found no need to do so any longer, not many beggers couldn't understand me ya see?"

With a small chuckle she then looked towards the dwarf, her face still looking nice and relaxed though her tone had a hint of annoyance. "At the gate people are required to give them names before entering and then there are things like debt, freinds, family, merchants you want to get along with, rumors, your signature and many other things." With that she took a big swig of the bottle, giving off a happy sigh and changing her gaze to the fox, though she still talked to Magnus. "As I said before finding out a name is trivial and I may have used one or more of those methods. Now please stop asking, your making the drink taste bad." She smiled to the fox and wiggled her fingers on the counter to try and catch its attention. She was always one to get along with animals no matter what, but given what she was she did not find that strange.

Alex looked a little defeated as the dwarf did not play along, weren't young people meant to be brash and stupid when it came to sharing money? They were starting to get wiser it seemed, but it didn't matter in the end as the important thing was that she was not introduced and caulght their attention. "When you hear someone mention your name it is normally followed by 'yeah that dwarf in the bright crimson gear'" She smiled a little as she answered the dwarfs first question, it was not hard to get his name, heck it was not hard to get anyones name since you could even overhear it just like she did for Aurora.

Her attention was taken by the elf that addressed the dwarf about not parting with his money, a shame that she did not play along either but she had expected her to do so given her demeanor. She spoke in just a reserved way, almost like a noble of old but there was also a cold sharpness that followed her words.

"Not drinking because you are young? Heh, I didn't know people worried about such things anymore."

While the elf was speaking to her fox Alex leaned on her hand, her crimson eyes peering through her bangs to take in the interaction. She gladly accepted the offer of the elf to pay for a drink! Taking her chance she leaned over the counter and pointed at a very cheap small bottle of wine, which she took and uncorked with a gleeful smile. "Thanks Aurora. Though I already knew your name too. You may call me Alex." With a small raise of the bottle as a cheers she took a good gulp of the fruity, and rather watery, wine.
