"Your going too...... Or else I'm not...... Going!" River said in between terrible coughing fits, blood spattering onto his clean body. River wiped it all onto her sleeve, coughing a bit still but with less force. "You go in first, I'll be fine." She told him, willing to risk her well being, even her life, just so he could live another day. Plus, River wasn't telling him something else, something that started on her wedding night. And if she told the doctor now, he wouldn't go inside first. So she'd wait until he was better, then she'd tell him the news that either he would hate or love her for.

When he came out River was flying the ship, coughing up a storm as she was bent over the controls from the force of the cough. She raised her hand and touched her lip, pulling it back to find that there was a sticky substance on it; blood. She turned around to see her doctor, hoping he hadn't seen that display. "I'm fine, don't need to worry about me! I'm perfectly~" River said before she started to cough violently again, breathing heavily after everything had stopped. She sat down, her eyes bloodshot as she looked into her doctors eyes. "I'm fine." She mumbled, standing up again and turning some dials and knobs, and pretending like everything was alright. She needed to, for his sake.

When River woke up she knew he was feeling worse just because she felt him shivering. It had only been 2 hours since then, and she wanted to go back to sleep but knew she couldn't. "Love....... I have to get up and fly the ship now." She cooed to him, coughing a bit herself but trying to get up anyways. But she couldn't, since her doctor was holding her close. "I haver I get up, before this bloody thing crashes into something!" She said louder, starting to cough a bit more. Crap, I must be catching what he has..... I need to stay strong though, for him She thought, trying to get up but he still wouldn't allow her to.

River came back just as he woke up, the not sleeping taking a visible toll on her; her hair had been tossed around while trying to think, she had dark circles around her eyes and she looked a bit pale herself. But when she saw him she rushed over to his side, feeling his forehead and realizing he was burning up. She looked into his eyes, pure rage emanating from her own. "Your sick, you can't lie. I'm taking you to the nearest...... Doctor....... And that's the end...... Of...... That......" River mumbled before she fell down onto the bed next to him, having passed out from pure exhaustion. She wrapped her arms around her doctor, as if she was trying to keep him in bed with her.

River was about to head to bed when she saw her doctor teeter like he had been hit by a brick and was still recovering over it. "Love, please, go back to sleep! I'll fly the TARDIS some more, just go back to bed! I'm worrying too much to have you flying this thing!" She said, turning to go back to the control center to fly the TARDIS some more before she passed out in a chair nearby.

"Stop being such a sour puss! I'll drive the TARDIS, go back to sleep." She said and kissed his forehead, getting up and going to the control room. Four hours she spent flying it alone, feeling a bit sad that her Doctor wasn't here to be with her. He should be up by now...... What is going on? She wondered to herself, yawning from lack of sleep but continuing to drive on throughout the night.
