Well you only have to look at how he dealt with Kijani to tell that he isn't a saint, god knows what you have planned :L
Maybe, more willing to ignore the less favourable traits, because that's what you do when you're young and in love :L it's not a conscious thing but we tend to see the good in those that we what to find it, and vice versa
Maybe I'm a cynic but I can't help but feel there might be some rose-tinted glasses going on
There is also the case where Mary-Jane died as a result of cancer from.. other radioactive body fluids in Spider-man: Reign. I don't know enough about Spider-man to really take part in this conversation, but that death is far too hilarious to be tragic

I'm going back to sleep.

What I say to myself every morning.. and then again when I get back from lectures. I love sleep.
She watched in bemusement as she seemed to hop around Kat, allowing her to create the staff though not expecting her to be so brazen as to hit her around the head. Whenever she was on Earth she always had to be careful, walking on eggshells, don't go to far or you might snap someone in half; she needed a release, some small burst of energy to break the cycle. And unfortunately for Katherin the staff was really not the weapon to use against Kat.

Shaking out any ice that clung to her hair she suddenly leapt into action, spinning the spear around her, stepping forward in attack and holding it steady to block. They were all more or less a distraction, a delay, waiting for the perfect moment to duck down, trapping one of her legs between Kats body and the spear and rolling - being careful to make sure she didn't hit the floor too hard - but landing Katherin on her back none the less.

"You're not to blame, I've been playing with these for as long as I can remember." She said, releasing her leg and taking a breath of the cool air despite herself. Standing up and sending away her spear, she gave Katherin a hand up as well, before saying "I appreciate the ice." She then walked back into the significantly warmer class room to where she had been siting before, pulling her hair over her shoulder. Her eyes darted to the clock and she put her head in her hands, trying to figure out where in the world it would be acceptable to be drinking right now.

(Sorry for auto-hit but I am so tired and everything is a little fuzzy, I really need to sleep, night!!)
It's just past 2am for me, I do not have long left in me at all :L I'll finish this spar and then disappear :P
Kat laughed at the girls cavalier response; being raised in Asgard left one more amused than frustrated at a failed attack in a spar such as this, "Oh, if you insist darling." The girl clearly was not going to bruise easily so Kat summoned her spear, golden and carved with beautifully intricate patterns, and quickly closed the gap between them. Her movements were quick, sharp, and clearly showed she was used to fighting opponents of greater physical strength than herself; eroding away their strength. That wasn't necessary here though so she relaxed a little more in her movements, though the trickery was clear. Feigning an attack to the left she quickly swept the spear low to hit Katherins legs from the right, knocking her off her feet.

Kat, if you don't mind, I'm going to step in and make an executive decision. Assume the blast is similar to plasma, unless otherwise specified.Plasma: An ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons in proportions resulting in more or less no overall electric charge, typically at low pressures (as in the upper atmosphere and in fluorescent lamps) or at very high temperatures (as in stars and nuclear fusion reactors).

Haha, feel free, I'm drowning in my own words :P

But yes, that is near enough it. I'm going with when Thor says that our ancestors call it magic, we call it science, but really they're the same. The whole conversion of energy and everything..
The hail tore through the clones which fragmented and faded and Kat quickly threw up a shield above her to stop the pelting from above, acting like an invisible umbrella. She felt the drop, the cold air caressing her skin and comforting her like warmth would a human, and she hated it. Pushing through the bittersweetness she worked to utilise Katherin's attack back against herself. Reluctantly relinquishing the shield and subjecting herself to the persistent annoyance falling from the sky she formed a wall and forced it forwards. The wall itself would do no damage to the girl, but all the ice it accumulated as it sped towards her might not be so fun.
