Kat had been in the middle of the kind of sleep that could best be described as void of anything, no dreams, no memories, nothing. That was until she felt something land on her face. Instincts kicked in and she was dragged from sleep and immediately ready attack, pushing the object away from her and onto a solid surface - whatever it was - as she turned to look her attacker in the face; a pillow. Hearing laughter from the other side of the room she sighed, visibly relaxing as she turned to glare at the source of the trauma. "See, this is why I keep a distance whenever I have to wake you." Robb laughed, looking down at the half asleep god who was threatening his furniture.
"You never have anywhere to be, why are you always awake so early?" She murmured, sinking back into the couch, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Well if I wasn't who was going to make sure you were up in time to catch the bus, can't have you being late to school." This time it was him who was attacked by a pillow but he only laughed more as she made her way to the bathroom.
"Tone it down, it's not decent anyone being this cheerful this time of the morning - especially not around me."
"Oh cheer up kitten, I'll make bacon." That kept quiet any protests from her so she let the nickname slide as she stepped into the shower, welcoming the ice cold water as it rushed over her skin.

After a somewhat rushed breakfast but feeling definitively better than an hour ago Kat appeared at the school. For lack of a better place to go she headed to the cafeteria. The lack of any staff was obviously noticeable, and as she fixed herself a coffee she wondered if she had cast any ill-advised curses last night. No, as far as she was aware this had nothing to do with her and therefore there was no reason for her to be concerned. Finding herself a quiet table outside she blew on the top of the drink and rest her head on her hand, watching the world wake up to another dull day on this earth.
