I... Well... We....

WE USE BOTH, I'M STUCK IN THE MIDDLE
After a short but enjoyable bath Kat found herself in the kitchen, wrapped in a fur pelt, slowly eating breakfast. With a whistle her dog trotted over and Kat threw a piece of food to her. "Suppose I ought to get ready, hey?" Standing up she brushed her fingers lightly over the dogs fur and then walked off upstairs to get dressed for the day, not minding the scratch of the claws on the wooden floor that followed behind her.

She reemerged wearing a dark purple day dress with her usual leather jacket and combat boots and quickly filled the food bowls and ran a cautionary sweep around the house to make sure there was nothing that could go wrong while she was away. "OK, usual drill, no attacking each other, always attack strangers, don't make a mess, don't touch anything that's glowing and don't steal each others food." She said aloud as she walked to the door, and then turned around to see the black cat curled up asleep and the dog staring up at her, oblivious. "Good talk."

Appearing at the academy she walked in, bypassing the cafeteria - she'd already eaten and it always always full of people - and headed straight to the gym. It wasn't empty but it would be quieter than the cafeteria, or so she hoped. The unfamiliar figure hanging from the ceiling didn't bode well, but she ignored her, and everyone else, as she sauntered by, opening a book which appeared in her hands as she sat down.
Pints? Gallons?! Mercy me, the colonies are a strange place :P

Hope everyone who is feeling rough feels better soon :) <3
And I thought I was bad at getting out of bed :P Just joking, congratulations!
I unashamedly love Frozen, but yes the trolls were a bit off base

Would have happily traded both Olaf's song and the troll song for a Kristoff song (because come on, Jonathon Groff) and a reprise
Ugh, spent the whole day revising statistical analyses

Hope everyone else had/is having/will have a more interesting day than me :)
When the light turned on her, surrounding her, suffocating her, she grit her teeth and turned her head to look at Griffin. She hadn't wanted to draw attention but if the boy was going to force her hand she had no choice. The strange magic surrounded her in a haze before enveloping the bands of light, corrupting it with cracks along their surface. She didn't flinch or turn her gaze away from Griffin at the creaking and hissing now coming from the bands.

And when the magic hit the core it exploded outwards in a blur of light and dark. In what little time she had she crouched down, holding tight to her spear as she plunged it into the ground. However that didn't stop her from feeling the force nor save her from the shrapnel of light. But as soon as it cleared she had disappeared, nowhere to be seen.
The wall – although having its benefits – also caused problems for Kat. Crashing through was hardly her style but teleporting over was like jumping into the lions den blind. She looked around at what was happening and a smile ghosted her lips; chaos. She could work with that.

Teleporting to the other side she looked around, building an image of what was happening, before quickly teleporting back. A lot of small incidents occurring but she had noticed the girl trapped by Griffin who was clearly increasingly frustrated with her situation. But she was going to have to move quickly, she didn't particularly want to make a scene of this.

Summoning her spear she teleported back with a clear direction in mind. Heading for Nacelle she closed the gap and drove her spear down. Just before it reached the light a magical energy coated the tip. However unlike her usual magic which had an ethereal glow of its own this magic seemed devoid of any light. It wasn't effortless but her spear cut through the bands, freeing Nacelle, and the magic disappeared. “Give em hell, kid.”
Night Caits :)
Kat looked around at the arena they had been placed in. Open field best lent itself to battle, and there were no signs that there was any more to the task than that. "So, do you think we should be killing them?" She asked openly before looking to Katherin. Everyone seemed to be waiting on something, some clear sign to begin most like, might as well use the hesitation. "Though I suppose a plan first would probably be useful."
