Ben shrugs, "I don't know, this is only my second day. My guess is that this kind of thing won't be rare."
Ben wanders over to Aver'i and asks, "So, how did you like Power Development class?"

Anthony makes his way to Sue's room and knocks on the door.
While students and staff alike began dispersing, Sue's fate was being decided...

Batman, sitting at the head of a long, wooden table sighs and says, "Let's not waste any time."

Superman clears his throat and says, "In my opinion, it's not safe to keep Sue on campus. I don't care if we send teachers to her home, but I can't in good conscious allow her to endanger the other students."

Lex Luthor shakes his head in disagreement, "Do you honestly think that our students and their parents weren't aware of the risks of attending this school? In a school with hundreds of children that have super powers, there will inevitably be mishaps every now and then. If we kick out every student that doesn't have full control over their powers, we won't have any students."

Mimic frowns, "She showed an appalling lack of maturity for her age. If she had been 13 or 14, I could understand, but a twenty-something year old woman? I can understand that she wanted to beat me when her classmates failed, but if she wanted to try something that dangerous, she should have at least asked me to take the fight outside. For all we know, she might have purposefully tried to harm her classmates and I."

Charles Xavier replies, "When I have classes, I do a mental sweep to determine if any of my students have violent intentions. Sue showed no malevolent traits at all. She had one of the sweetest, most innocent minds that I've come across. Nevertheless, I agree with Kent and Rankin, we simply cannot house someone with a power as volatile as Sue's. I propose immediate expulsion. We must think of the other children."

Batman thinks for a moment, then asks Ironfist, "How is her mental training coming along?"

Ironfist answers calmly, "In just one hour, Sue showed remarkable progress. By the end of the semester, I believe she could have completely control over her power."

Batman turns to Banshee and comments, "You've been awfully quiet, considering the decision I make will determine your daughter's future."

Banshee asks pleadingly, "Please think about this logically. She's never had the chance to really let loose, so how on Earth do you expect her to know just how destructive her power could be? The point of this school is to train people like her so that they can use their powers without accidentally hurting themselves or others. I'm sure some of us have had similar accidents!"

Batman nods as he stands, and says, "Thank you all for sharing your opinions. I'll let you know what I decide."

Following the unspoken dismissal, Batman's peers leave him to make a decision.
Amidst the chaos, a voice rings clear in everyone's mind, "Attention students and staff. Due to obvious reasons, the remainder of today's classes are cancelled. School will resume tomorrow."
She's definitely going to be visited by the Bat...
Accepted. I'll add your character to the character list on the front page in a little while.
(Sorry, this is all I can come up with right now.)

Anthony watches the fight, showing only minor interest. Moments after being evacuated along with the other students, however, the fight suddenly becomes more interesting. Two incredibly powerful shock waves tear through the school, leaving a gaping hole in the building. Anthony grins, "Now there's someone that could make a good ally."

After Sue's display of raw power, Ben falls silent. While he was impressed by the show, he couldn't help but wonder if se even cared that she could have killed everyone.

After Sue walks toward her classmates, Mimic stands shakily before falling once again. His wings move slightly, revealing a large shard of wood sticking out of his back. John immediately noticed his teacher's injury, and jumps into action. He suits up as he sprints toward Mimic, then drops to his knees. John pulls out the 4 inch thick, 20 inch long piece of wood, then sticks his hands on either side of Mimic's chest. As the internal damage is healed and the blood stops flowing, John's head feels lighter and lighter. Once Mimic's wound is completely healed, John falls to the ground, unconscious.
My gawd, the pressure of writing after that is just too much. I'll post as soon as I wake up, and I should be able to post quite a bit tomorrow.
I'll post after a few people post their characters' reaction.
Flood dodges strike after attempted strike from an increasingly frustrated Mr. Rankin. He begins to laugh maniacally as he comments, "Has anyone ever told you that you would make a killing as a ballerina?" Flood waits until Mimic's spins cause him to have his back exposed, then lunges, his outstretched arms revealing the previously hidden tonfas.

Mimic's growls of frustration grow ever louder with each futile strike, "That damn Brock kid slowed me down. This is freaking ridiculous!". Suddenly, Mimic's student lunges at him. He raises his arms, causing the ice shards scattered around the room to fly toward Flood. Flood shields his face instinctively, leaving an opening that Mimic makes the most of. Mimic rapidly spins once again, his razor-sharp wings slicing his student in half. He nonchalantly pushes the two halves together and says to Flood, "You obviously haven't been doing what I told you. Fight your instincts to shield your face and focus on the battle. If your face is hurt, it'll heal. Now get out of here." Mimic sticks his head in the classroom and points to Sue as he says, "Come on down!"
