John shrugs, "Most of them have only been coming for a semester. Flood over there went for one year, but then was gone for a couple years. I'm not sure about what you're supposed to do about your schedule. At the beginning of the year, they give the students the chance to try out all of the classes before they pick which ones they want. I guess you can just go to what ever ones you want."

John shakes his head, "You're right when you say that I thought you were pretty, but it's not the only reason I came over here. I'm one of the only students that have been going here for more than one year. The principal said it's my job to show the new kids around."

John's grin fades slightly as he looks to see who Kalinda is talking about. Turning back to her, he replies, "Kijani? Yeah, I mess with her, but some people need that every now and then. I think her parents or grandparents worked for the government, so it's like she thinks she's royalty or something."

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with there being more characters, I just wanted everyone know that it wasn't a necessity.

John gently kisses Kalinda's hand, then lets go and remarks, "I'm sure you get this all the time, but you're very pretty. Raven's daughter, right?"

And people, there doesn't HAVE to be an even number of guys and gals. If you're doing that so everyone can be a couple, then I have some news. As I post more with John, he'll probably hit on most of the girls, but won't develop a relationship. Anthony, while he has feelings for Sue, is determined to squash those pesky emotions.
