Sorry guys, I've been at work all fricking day! Mike, I hate to see ya go, but like Dioxide said, you're always welcome back.
Anthony shakes his head, "I'll tell you more once I've done more research. However, from what I've seen already, you're not going to like what I find." He walks away, his long legs quickly bringing him out of Kijani's sight.

John yawns and sits up as Jessica nudges him. He runs his hands through his hair and answers groggily, "Thanks angel." He stumbles out of class and heads for the cafeteria to get a snack before his afternoon workout.
Eh screw it, school is dismissed for everyone except Sue. Good night one and all.
Anthony stops walking as he replies, "He's in good health...for now. However, he's let his guard down around me, and through a series of events, I've stumbled upon some very interesting connections between my father and your grandmother. Do you recognize this symbol?" He hands her a card with the image on it and waits for an answer.

Anthony stands, thoroughly impressed by the empath's power to reduce Mimic to tears, and thinks "She's a dangerous one, I need to keep my eye on her. I suppose I'll wait until later to talk to Mr. Rankin though, I doubt he's in the mood for a chat right now." As he leaves the classroom, he finds himself walking next to Kijani. He looks at her sideways and says, "Hello Kijani. I've been wondering, how has your grandmother been lately?"

Ben shrugs as class is dismissed and fetches his spear from its hiding place. He heads out onto the Academy courtyard and begins going over some basic moves that Kraven had taught him. Spear Practice (he's practicing what the guy on the left is doing.)

John remains in his seat, having fallen asleep.

The image of Mimic's father that he had created fades as his grief is slowly taken by Devika. He looks at her with a weak smile wipes the tears from face before standing and replying, "Don't be sorry." His usual cockiness and condescension is nowhere to be found as he continues, "You did as I asked you to do, well done." Calvin Rankin takes a deep breath, then says, "Please inform your classmates that we're done for today, except for Sue. Tell her to meet me in our separate training facility."Hey Knight- the word I emphasised from your post. Is that a typo? Did you mean to type 'his' face? Or is Mimic actually wiping Devika's tears off?

It's not a typo. The grief that he felt made him more compassionate for a moment.
Captain America also held it once. Then of course, there are the times that characters outside the primary timeline have wielded it, such as Loki, Spider-Man 2099, Rogue, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

I'll give a few other people the chance to react to Mimic's crying before I post again. If no one cares after 20 minutes, I'll post anyway.
