Anthony replies with a straight face, "Well obviously. I was only ten, maybe fifteen percent aroused at most." He begins to slowly pull out of the parking space, giving Connor time to read his message.

As Anthony waits for Kijani to arrive, he sends a text to Connor saying, "I'll keep Kijani safe for you tonight. We'll be at my place for a few hours, so she'll be in good hands..." After Kijani gets in the car, Anthony chuckles at her comment and retorts, "Oh sweetie, you didn't have to get all dressed up for me. What you were wearing was fine." Before he pulls out of the parking space, Anthony asks, "From what I can tell, you and Connor have a blooming relationship. Will he be ok with you being alone with me?"

John shrugs, "You did better than me. All I did was knock out Parker." He waits for Kalinda to move away from the bench and begins to put weight after weight on the bar. ONce there are six hundred pounds of weight on the bar, John slide underneath and begins pumping out reps.

Anthony speaks briefly, "Immediately. If you need to gather your things, do so quickly, I'll be in the parking lot." With that, Anthony walks out of the room and goes straight to his car. He gets in, starts the car, and waits for his lackey to arrive."

John nods, "I guess I can understand that." After a few seconds of silence, he asks, "What'd you think of that BS? You did pretty well, from what I saw."

John chuckles, "What happens?" he repeats. "You can die if you're a normal human or if you don't have powers that allow you to escape." He stands behind her, watching for signs of danger, and asks, "So what made you want to decide to work with the weights? Most girls go for more of an aerobic routine."

"A spotter is someone that stands behind you and, if your arms lock up or look like they're about to give way, grab the weight from you. It's a safety thing, any time you're bench pressing, you should have a spotter." John explains.

Anthony smirks slightly, "Ah, I almost forgot about your lack of powers. Remind me, what was it punishment for? Fighting your boyfriend's battles?" The smile fades as he continues, "Regardless of why you don't have your powers, I'm more than happy to give you a ride. That is, if you can bare sitting next to me for forty minutes."

Once the simulation, John shoots the glaring Ben a broad grin before strutting out of the door. While he wasn't happy that he knocked out a teammate, he had done so with one no powered punch, which was awesome. With no other plans for the evening, as usual, he heads to the g for a quick workout. He stops by the locker rooms to change into a pair of gym shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Once properly clothed, he walks into the workout room where he sees Kalinda using the weights. "Hey Shorty," he says, "need a spotter?"

A few days ago, I started working out with some of the Marine recruits. We just finished running three freaking miles, in addition to a buttload of other exercises! I can't imagine how hard boot camp will be.

As Bruce looks at Sue, his eyes begin to water almost imperceptibly. "If you must know, she's my daughter. It's well within my power to have gone and taken her back by force, but I don't want to do it that way. I want her to choose to stay here, but I want it to make it as hard as possible for her to say no. That's where you and Katherine come in. So please, if you have any information, please tell me. It's possible that you, as her friends, know more than I do."

Anthony nods slightly, "Thank you. I'm almost to the point where I've gathered enough evidence to confront my father and then your grandmother. I'd like you to come to my house so I can go over the details with you."
