John stands and asks, "Can it hold me? I mean I way over three hundred pounds." He sits down on the bed gingerly, causing the frame to creak in protest under his weight. "I guess so," he says with a grin. "Do you want to change that? About nobody else sleeping here, I mean. Because I can do that." he says with a wolfish smile, his voice sounding like he was only half-joking.

John glances around Kalinda's bedroom after following her and, unsure of where he'd be allowed to sit, sits on the floor. He begins to eat his ice cream and between bites asks, "Do you have a roommate?"

John follows Kalinda into her dorm, staring at her curves the whole way, but more subtly than he had during the previous days. "She's probably the first person to consider me a friend since I started coming here. It's nice." he thinks while they walk. Once the ice cream is dished up, John opens the can of whipped cream and sprays some on his bowl before offering it to Kalinda. He looks around at the sparsely furnished dorm and asks, "Is this all you brought?"

John drives his motorcycle to the Academy, obviously going over the speed limit. Luckily, they don't encounter any police and are soon at the school parking lot. Once he parks the bike, John holds out a hand to Kalinda and says, "I'll carry the bag for you."

John replies with a laugh, "Fair enough. Let's go to your place, mine is a mess."

Bruce nods and says, "I know it's hard, but you need to explain to her why you've chosen to come back. Don't worry, your friends and I will be there to support you."

Bruce sighs as he tries to regain his composure, "It wasn't until recently that most heroes and villains signed a truce that would last until the next generation of metahumans. I was still active, so I had enemies that would have tried to hurt you. If anything had happened to you, I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself."

"Alright, sounds good." John says while grabbing a can of whipped cream. As they walk toward the cashier, he asks, "Where should we eat it?"

Bruce immediately hugs Phoebe back, tears streaming down his normally stoic face as he says, "I've waited so long to do this Phoebe."

Anthony nods and gestures to the sandwich, indicating that he didn't mind if she ate it. "I can be pretty convincing when necessary. My plan is to begin this adventure in three days."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go." John leads the way to his motorcycle, and after a quick drive, he pulls into the store' sparking lot. He leads Kalinda to the frozen section and asks, "What kind should we get?"

Bruce sighs, "Katherine, please go with Sue. Keep each other safe." Once he and Phoebe are alone, Bruce walks up to her, places his hands on her shoulders, and says, "Phoebe, I am your father."

Anthony shrugs, "Hopefully she'll realize just how valuable it is for me to be in her debt."

John laughs, "Neiter do I, I was hoping you would know a place, we could always buy I've cream at the store then go back to the Academy."
