Leopold bid the girl good day and booted up his laptop. It was now he got the flood of information over the last few hours, the joy of a 10X10 projector is a HUGE computer screen for dozens of screens bordering on a hundred. He made it himself, the the joys of a comp-sci major using infrared scanners to track body movement and gestures. It wasn't like tony stark's holo-tech, but it sure made the cat feel like it!

Blogs, so many blogs, all searching with various crawlers for key words. It always reminded him of that one part in 'watchmen' when he did this, made him feel smarter than he really was. he wasent looking forthe obvious,he set it to search for a number of words repeating but excluding the most obvious. He was searching for a group or a name to keep appearing, some sort of 'hate monger' to be stirring all this up. Either there was one person behind all this hate, or there wasn't. Both were equally terrifying.

Oddly, one of his tracers pinged on the typings of a student:
'Sumat Sajak (@) ExRajaSumat:
Samuel Eddison is a disgrace, no ifs or buts, and yet I still see other Mutants playing the minority card. It is most irritating.

Us Mutants need to grow up and face the reality: our powers make many of us reckless, proud, and feel as though we are above the system. We are not. At the end of the day, we are all human, and that includes the lust for domination over others characteristic of our species. What do you think would happen when otherwise-harmless thugs realise they can control the fires of Agni, or something similar?

Kind regards to the brave men of the M.T.S; you do us all a big favour. Support the Mutant Registration Act!'

He sent an amused annonymous reply:
"All of life is a circle, seasons, reincarnations, ragnarock. This has happened a thousand times in history up till now and will keep happening another thousand times after now. Mutants are the newest threat, just wait and soon mutants will fight alongside humans against an alien invasion or something from another dimension. It's an 'us' versus 'them' and mutants are just the next 'them'. This too shall pass."
@FumariWe are here when you come back.
@Lotta Pumpkins Just remember to use "quotation marks" and i'm fine with it.
@XSilentWingsX I would think that all sailing before is left to right, adding up to down would only mean an extra wheel at most, perhaps two wheels at a 90 degree interjection to keep them separate.
Sorry for the lack of posting on my part - i may have to withdraw, seeing as my schedule's utterly packed. Best of luck with the story, though!

Honestly, me too. Plus, I have a Regents exam on Tuesday.

Captain, its plague! We're loosing souls fast!
*Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap*
This was his heartbeat, this was his soul, this was his voice... Now. Oh sure, he came to terms with it long ago, nothing to be long in the face over anymore. But every now and again he would wonder how the cards might have shuffled differently. If he had done something different, would he still be here? Would she still be out there?

*Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap*
As it is, he had a good life. He knew he was useful here, he knew people needed him. Needed, but did they want him? He was the only beast on board, the rest seemed to be exclusive to human. No Bogles, no Elfes, no Gygr or other Deor of any breed. He was certain the captain kept him for the skill set, but did Grady keep him around just for appearances as well? If they went to a human only place then they could keep him out of the way or the only non-human around, and if they needed to look 'cultured' they could keep him right on hand to look like there were more than there really was.

*Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap*
But who was he to say? He was a one trick pony and he took security in that. No one else he knew could work metals without a forge like he could with his Gyurgy. That was a skill he hoped to spread to others more accepting of a beast like him, but so far no luck.

*Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap, Bang-taptap*
Finally done, he looked over his newest piece. One of the engine folk had asked him to repair a piece before it needed to be replaced so he was aligning the steel once more, making it flow smoothly rather than whorl against itself. He spoke to the spirit in the steel, coaxing it out and massaging away the imperfections from its heavy use like how Octavius treats a patient. Perhaps this was the reason he lost his voice, so he could learn how to talk to the metals.
Silly thing: Since Gygr get 6-8 feet, would it be reasonable for certain Deor like Larach?

Spot saved for upcoming Ninja clan.
@Fumari(Apologies for any automatic assumptions and decelerations of another. Looking to wrap this up for the GM.)
The hackles had risen at the poster, unsure on who did something like this to a professor or even anyone at this school. With everything else going on, mocking others would still seem like the thing we try to avoid. Then again, it could be a haze from-
*THUD!* "Ohaio, Mister Oromake. Enjoying your day?"
He was so focused on the moment, that he completely missed the approach of another or the discharge of power. "Konishiwa, ith afternoon." It was only then that the noticed the lack or another student, looking around to find her pulling herself out of the drywall seemingly unhurt. That was certainly a subtle but useful power. "You alright, did you fall? Come on in."

Opening the door, he forgot about the poster for the moment and let her into his office where there was a manila folder on his table labeled 'Student ID's, one per student!' but that was the least impressive. The room was shockingly cold, about 30 degrees, and full of..stuff. A long nerf gun laid across three different laptops sitting on a table that was bolted to the ceiling instead of resting off the floor. One wall was completely blank except for the projection of a beach coming from the ceiling, its waves slowly rolling in high definition with a crash of wave seeming to come from nowhere. One corner nook had a few books sitting on top of a private server tower, but no titles standing out and the sole illumination for the room was a dim lamp pressed against the wall in a semi-circle. The center of the room and seemingly the only piece of actual furniture was a single beanbag the size of a couch with some video game controllers resting on top.

He opened the folder and looked at the ID's. Getting a mental roster of who and what they could do with his ADHD, he handed over Julian's ID with a soft smile. "I'll add you to both, thee you at theven A.M. I'll get you the on-line code later."

I definitely like the Lasrach character! Balder would probably see him as his natural favorite, both due to his desire to watch over somebody with a disadvantage and due to the fact that the Deor is a hulking warrior like himself. I think that he would be glad to see if you can teach an old dog new tricks and attempt to learn some of this language so that he can be one of the few people that understand his apprentice (especially with all of the snooty nobles aboard!). Might even make it his mission to make sure that he can find a way to heal Lasrach's voice before he passes on.

Well there we go, I'll play both for the now, and if it gets too difficult, I'll drop one of them to focus on the other.
