In the last year Xavier has put him on a killer workout session to make up for lost time so now his leg strength is equal to ten men.

His lungs can expand and compress large quantities of air that can be expelled with enough force to knock a fully grown human off their feet or hold enough air for him to stay underwater for a half hour.
*Superhuman taste, perhaps more of a negative trait than he would hope for, but it means he could easily track someone by licking where they might have touched.

Backstory:
He's a fucked up pup, that is for sure. He was the bastard son of a one night stand with a high school girl and a college guy. Pregnant at 16, she fell into depression and tried to drink herself into a miscarriage or accidentally fall down the stairs. It didn't take but it did cause certain birth defects such as his appearance and body growth. She blamed him for everything wrong in her life after that including the fact that her parents refused to let her give him up for adoption until she was 18. On her birthday she took her year old son to the orphanage to give him up as his first and only birthday present to his own mother. It was there that she met a man Named Erik, a Crane teacher from San Francisco who was looking to adopt a boy of his own since he was unable to have children after blow to his groin. What should have been a simple transfer became dating and eventually marriage.

She still resented her son for ruining her life and further fell into alcoholism. Her binge drinking along with general abusive treatment of Mortimer, 'an ugly name for an ugly baby', left him seemingly developmentally challenged. For all of her fury, his dad was his safety, he stuck with the failing marriage while devoting the attention to Mort and constant therapy or marriage counsellings attempts for his wife. While he was always a quiet child, his dad would take him everyday to class to keep him away from his mom where he learned and developed physically, able to do some of the more advanced techniques with no effort at all.

Sadly, when he was 12, a crane fell from a building and killed over a dozen people, his dad was one of them. Again Mortimer was somehow to blame in his twisted mothers mind that all she had left was a massive law suit. It was then that he fell into recreational drug use instead of gymnastics and martial arts like his dad had always hoped while his mother tried to drink away the thousands of dollars.

She couldn't wait to emancipate him at 16 so she could cut him off and lets him do whatever he wants in hopes he'll kill himself as long as he left her alone. Miraculously when it was time for teacher conferences, she always managed to pull her act together and play the part of a Stepford mom for a few hours in public before she took the mask back off once she is in the door.

During his first year in highschool, when Mort was under the bleachers getting stoned, the coach found him after he kicked a twenty pound rock across the parking lot into the principals car. In exchange for turning a blind eye to his recreational drugs, Mort joined the team where he would make the coach famous no mater what college he went to. Once Mort was out at a party when one of the other kids thought he could make a name for himself by taking out a football player, Toad killed the boy with a kick to the crotch that broke every bone in the spinal column from pelvis to atlas. Before the police arrived, Xavier got to him first and offered him a place in their ranks. Xavier has spent the last year forcing him through his paces, trying to make up for the years Toad spent squandering his life.

Magnus sqweezed her hand as she held his, his skin purpling in a blush. "Turn that around and I can get you in spandex or leather within the hour. Maybe even some cyber ninja hacking suit." He canted his head to the side as she asked about picking sides. "Well I think its far more clear cut that everyone thinks. Its a person by person issue rather than mutants as a whole. People loved the human torch, but feared Pyro. Sadly the x-men got lumped in with the brotherhood only because all anyone saw was mutants fighting mutants and the city getting torn apart as the victim. Your too smart to do anything dumb, but I'll make you a deal; don't shoot me and I won't shoot you."

BRIEF BIO -
Former leader of a FoH (Friends of Humanity) cell for decades before encountering a mutant whose power was to boost others or else activate latent x-genes. His mutation didn't occur until he tried to drive away, the car flipped and pulverized his arm as well as pinning him in place as flames burned away half his face and good eye. That moment of absolute desperation activated his mutation in the form of T.K. in order to push the car away in all directions to free him from the wreck, the farsight was a natural compensation for loosing sight in his eye.

Now he was a mutant mutant-hater, every friend and social contact would never have anything to do with him. It took a year for him to blindly find the X-men and be brought in before all hell broke loose. Now he serves as janitor and mechanic until he gets a fill grasp of his powers like all the other children.

Description of Appearance:
6' 120, native american clay complexion with long black hair.

Style:
Usually he wears camouflage pants because of all the pockets In various realistic patterns (no ridiculous pink with yellow) with combat boots using a zipper insert that keeps the cordage of the shoelace with the quickness the zipper provides. He dresses in earth tone layers as he was taught to do from a young age normally turtleneck under tank-top to t-shirt to button-up to coat. He makes sure his clothes always have pockets for his Altoid survival kits. His clothes are rarely new, often from second hand stores or army surplus of his own volition to save money for an emergency.

Powers: Increased strength, endurance speed and agility. Currently four times those of a normal human but tests show no signs of decrease or leveling off. Right now it seems like a mere extension of his martial arts but has the potential to be on par with spiderman if his mutation continues.

Personality:
Fun-loving most of the time with strong underpinnings of right and wrong. He HATES bullies and with always run to the aide of someone getting picked on no matter the odds. To him the (insert intended bad guys here) are the biggest bullies he can see. He has been trained to prep and prepped to train so he is always looking around his environment to use whatever is on hand to get the advantage to survive.

History:
Born to a fireman mom and cop dad. Sadly his dad died on the job while their child was still a baby, but Xanders mom would be consoled by his partner who eventually became his second mother before he was old enough to know any better. Raised by two women would make anyone a bit of an odd man out, but he took it as best he could with such a large target on his back.

When the bullying started, both moms agreed to have him take martial arts for the act of discipline more than anything else. He was taught how to use a hatchet both because of his parents Native American heritage to the tomahawk and his mom being a fireman that hatchets and axes were always available. After his dad had died, both his moms had started to become doomsday preppers with lots of focus on survival and bugging out with him being raised in the same ways as well in case he ever had to leave quickly for having two mothers. Part of that prepping included supervised gun use him his mothers standard issue shotgun, another part of that constant prepping meant taking him to both of their works and learning some tricks of the trade like how to use an emergency vehicle or any other huge vehicle. In case of, well, emergencies.

When he turned 15 his moms took him to a police impound auction to buy his first car with his permit, expecting him to get something cheap but running. He surprised them both with buying a totaled tow truck and spent a year rebuilding the engine instead. They had instilled in him a need to prepare so he opted for a vehicle with enough power to get him wherever he needed and pull anything behind he would need. His parent made him an emancipated minor as another tool to add to his survival skills since he could count himself as legally employed.

With his tow-truck and emancipation, he got a license to operate with small business and established "Don't Ask Towing". He targeted teenagers first few fender benders and those looking for discretion. Thanks to his moms, they funneled business his way when pulled over cars needed to be collected or accidents that required firetrucks needed to get the cars out of the way. This let him earn quite a tidy bundle to tuck away month after month.

When he was 16 his power manifested as he saw the high school football team dragging a known gay student into the locker room clearly against his will. The speed that he ran to the rescue actually broke the sound barrier, the rest seemed to stand in slow motion as Alex brutally beat every one of them within an inch of their lives. 20 to 1 yet he didn't have a scratch on him except for the falling glass from blown out windows of the sonic boom, it was then that the x-men came for him.

The cover story was that a low flying aircraft flew overhead that caused the boom and his earphones saved him from the boom when he went to help the kid. He was expelled for violence but wasn't arrested for assault as he was stopping a hate crime in progress. He changed his last name to protect his moms who had him legally divorced then expunged from the family records and left home to learn how to use his talent.

Any number of altoid survival kits in his pocket of pants and jacket as well as every compartment of his truck. He keeps one tampon in every kit.
Multi-tool (one in truck behind seat, one in back hatch of truck, One in every duffel bag bug-out kit he makes)
Bug-out bags (backpack good for one person for 3 days, he makes about 1 a month and sticks it somewhere on the property in a vacuum sealed garbage bag, some are made for winter, some for summer)
Survival shotgun (move flashlight and knife to Piccadilly rails instead of extra attachment, replace saying on black metal with etched mirror instead) This he keeps in his room unless otherwise specified.

Each member of the family has a companion, they offset and compliment with skills each member of the family might lack due to the diligent training in power and arts. THe companion is solider or servant depending on the powers of the family member they are bound to. If say the daughter were to have the strength of ten men, then her companion would most likely be a rifleman to prevent her from being outnumbered.
