A thought is that the non-x-men go to the museum of natural history where someone releases MGH andkick to try and boost humans into a mutant outbreak with dozens of people unable to handle the new powers. Now you have the secondary characters getting a jump as well but at least something resembling training for most to help quell the chaos before it becomes a full scale riot.

@dizzy, no worries, lots of folks of all ethnicities will be present. I stated no specific year because I didn't want to limit myself in creativity but I would allow even japanese via dutch from 1609. I am basing some of Xavier after St Francis Xavier who had visited india, borneo, japan and the maluku islands of indonesia in the 1500's-1550's.

@roman: I like the nightcrawler, but there was a dibs earlier, if he doesn't do nightcrawler then I'll let you have at him. I noticed you failed to mention wall crawling or blending into shadows as powers. I say in humor: if he's going to use flintlocks, at least we know happened to his missing fingers and toes!

A birthmark would be nice, but now I understand your position on how strong his curse is.
Blacksam: I can work with that, tone down the precision to keep the power and loose the geometric spatial relation.

Cybelle: really nice, just about what i was looking for on the first try. One thing is that your human image is [image] to me, can you double check the code in the cs or provide a link?

The idea here is to make these people have to hide at all times, hence the castle for them all to stay in.

Dizzy: I like the birthmark, but is there any way we can expand on it? Perhaps it sits somewhere harder to hide or she cant cast any illusions if it is cover it up? Audio visual illusions can be the most powerful if done right so I want to make the cost appropriate

Gravislayer: are you willing to make the empowered appearance his default? If not just his eyes being stuck in the dark setting. It is a good power, but having his mark only present when he uses his power makes it too easy to hide.

Blacksam: Cyclops needs a much heavier downside to his powers or a reduction of his power. His beams are strong enough to destroy a fortress but he can control the width height and intensity? It's force but can bank a dozen times? Able to put a hole on a wall or a pinhole in a coin 2000 feet away? I need some consistency here on what his powers are since he basically has visor on/visor off.

Zombie: If her skin is so pale as a reflection of her power, I'm okay with it. otherwise I need a downside to mark her as cursed with power.

First off: That little boy was creepier than any other villain or species in the entire Whoniverse!

That said, My idea would be a new avengers protocol of all OC's or else each avenger goes looking for an apprentice.

Not much to be said about the man, he works like a horse every day in the bowls of the industrial areas and collapses onto a pile of rags to sleep at night in a hovel barely bigger than a closet. When he has any free time he will put his face on the line for any manner of arena fight to pull some extra money together. He was born and raised to die in the bottom of the slums by falling in a fight or until the day his body gives out.
