Gabriel had the urge to facepalm as the teens before him pretty much just walked off without giving him another word, or even glance. So much for being respectful when first meeting someone. He merely grunted and shook his head before turning to the obstacle course that the blue guy had brought up. Should he be among the first to go, or wait a bit until others have gone first instead? He was relatively fast and agile, especially with the appearance of enhanced abilities that came with the awakening of his abilities. However, Gabriel doubted this course would be easy for anyone running through it the first time... maybe going first would take some of the possible embarrassment of tripping up off his back. That way if he did mess up or something, there would still be plenty of more people to run through it to draw attention away from himself...

Gabriel turned his attention to the other student that had apparently spoken to him. At least she was polite enough to give a proper introduction before demanding someone else's name.

"Not that I DON'T want to, but I usually prefer to have a proper exchange of names before mentioning mine. Whatever. My name is Gabriel, charmed," he finished saying to Phoebe.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow at Flood who seemed to be really, REALLY hyper right now. If this were a cartoon, he had no doubt that this guy would be jumping off the walls at high speeds.... hell, given the fact that this kid was a super, he probably even could do something like that.

"Wait... so you expect me to tell you my name without you giving me so much as a mere nickname to call you by? Funny..."

Gabriel checked the time on the large, digital clock that was part of what seemed to be a scoreboard. It was already several minutes past the actual starting time of this class, he began to wonder what was going on with the teachers and staff. Gabriel had grown tired of doing nothing but sit around on the bleachers, so he decided to head down and walk around the gym floor for a bit.

Gabriel is pretty new for me too, though honestly developing him would be a lot easier if this RP was more of an Heroes vs. Villains (that are already masters of their talents). My original intent with him was for him to be a Red Lantern, so.... yeah...

Would it be possible for something like an initiation into one of the Corps. to happen later on?
