Gabriel winced as Sue's ability had amplified what he had said to a rather high degree of volume. It didn't exactly hurt him or his ears, but it was "painful" in the sense of utterly surprising. Kind of like when you get into a car early in the morning, turn it on, and be met with a loud blast of music you had left playing the day before. That type of painful.

Gabriel nodded and passed a nearby paper to Sue before going to sit at a desk.

"That went well..."

Gabriel thought back to the gym and obstacle course, suddenly remembering how loud it actually was. It had been filled with people, but not nearly enough to have been as loud as it was. Looks like Sue's power was manipulating sound, but unfortunately she had little control over this. That would explain why she would onlynspeak in sign to that one kid that she had been with since school started. It could also explain the guards...

I see what you mean. Maybe this issue can be worked around? I remember being in another Superhero RP that wasn't supposed to be related to Marvel or DC in any way, yet I still went in and used a symbiote character. Other than references to other superheroes from Marvel, there wasn't anything else besides the symbiote. Everything from then on went rather smoothly.

I won't use the Red Lantern if you don't want though. I have another character that I made for another RP meant to resemble a Red Lantern by having the same napalm blood thing going on

Gabriel heard the voice over the speakers and began to prepare the tray with the trash he needed to throw away. As he got up, he looked to Kijani.

"Guess I should get going now. Nice talking to you, maybe we'll see each other next class, or tomorrow at lunch again."

With that, he walked off to a nearby trashcan to throw his garbage away before heading off to his next class. Gabriel didn't know what to expect in it, maybe some more skill and power assessments. That might be nice, he was actually getting kind of restless to use his abilities for real now.

When Gabriel walked into his next class, he was surprised to see that there were already a couple of students there. There were some familiar faces there, but one stood out: that silent girl with the earmuffs. Wonderful, now he had to share a class with the girl he had shouted at.

"Might as well get things over with to at least say I did apologize," Gabriel said nonchalantly as he walked over to her desk.

"Don't know your name, and you probably wouldn't even bother to tell," Gabriel told Sue, "But I do want to apologize for shouting at you during the obstacle course."

Gabriel noticed Kijani's odd reach to her side, almost as if some invisible thorn had struck her without her knowing. Before he could ask though, the girl had already begun to talk about something else.
