It was at Mimic's sudden attempt at a surprise attack that Gabriel reacted, quickly and forcefully parrying away his arm and jumping out of the way of Mimic's direction. Gabriel looked at Mimic's arm and smirked, noticing the crimson liquid that had been left there. The steam around it indicated that it was currently in its "scalding" state, only able to inflict some serious burns as opposed to burning through. Gabriel was surprised yet pleased that he was able to get it to come out this way, he had been wondering if he could change its properties quickly before release.

"Mutant I'd suppose, like the rest of us here. Name's Gabriel Zornlich, but I assume you already knew that if you looked at the roster of incoming students this year... as for my power... my blood boils. You'll see soon enough..."

Gabriel watched Mimic carefully, trying to prepare for every possible situation.

He headed into the battle room and already felt his blood boiling. It was different this time though, the feeling permeating his entire body, specifically the chest and stomach areas. Gabriel shrugged it off and prepared himself...

Gabriel watched Kijani run out with a raised eyebrow. Curious and slightly concerned over what had just happened, he made a mental note to find out why she had reacted the way she did for curiosity's sake. He looked at Mimic... was it his turn yet? If it was... then shit... he kind of wasn't expecting to go right now even if his adrenaline had been running through him just a few moments ago...

Gabriel had been watching the fights by and by, finding most of them boring by "superhero" standards. The one that was really riling things up was Kijani. She had been doing rather well to his surprise, but things suddenly felt off in the scene. The girl looked genuinely frightened and actually seemed to be trying to seriously hurt Mimic, or whatever the hell this conglomeration of X-Men heroes this guy's name was. Gabriel smirked.

"Things just got interesting..."

But the smirk soon faded. What if she ended up actually hurting the teacher? Or what if the teacher also went into serious mode and ended up hurting her? Gabriel stood up from his desk and walked closer to the viewing place to get a better look. The excitement and adrenaline the sight was causing made his blood begin to boil, and quite soon he wanted to have a go at Mimic himself... not after making sure things wouldn't end badly however...

Edit: My response really wasn't that good of a response. Allow me to better explain.

Think of this as more of a mishmash of the two universes. We have heroes, villains, and "factions" (X-Men, Lanterns, etc) from both Marvel and DC, but they will not necessarily be included and focused on throughout the entire RP. Perhaps there might be some instances where they are, but mostly, they will be more of a "presence". Even then, this presence doesn't need to be acknowledged all too much.
Obviously, it is up to players how much influence each Universe has on a character, so they don't have to be directly involved in any Marvel or DC things.

Is this understandable?
