(Hoy, keep in mind that the explosions set off by Persona were quite a bit aways from where most of the characters were at during the beginning. That means it would have been difficult for them to see or hear a loud explosion. Perhaps an echo, but that wouldn't set off much suspicion.)

A large fleet of alien spacecrafts floated slowly through the stars of space. Armored and weaponized, these things were obviously meant for war, wars that more often than not had ended up favoring "them". The Altehokrinites, a race of supremacist, conquering aliens that destroyed and assimilated civilizations into their own empire. Large and hulking or small yet sleek, alone these reptilian-amphibian creatures were still a force to be reckoned with even without weapons.

One of them speaks.

"How goes it?"

Another at the controls responds.

"Well. The fool Starbird was completely unaware of the little device we planted in him years ago when he dared to journey outside earth to destroy one of our own ships. One of our hidden pawns on earth managed to pay off a rogue assassin for his death. When Starbird's life vanished, it activated the device, which in turn activated several hidden signals on satellites or even on our fallen ships being kept by these humans for study."

The aliens laughed and snarled in amusement.

"And these signals are what's currently driving people, human and super alike, quite... unreasonable. Several explosions have followed in a mere hour after Starbird's death! With the powerhouse of the world, Arcus District, distracted by the chaos caused, we'll soon be able to launch our fleets on Earth once again..."

Hope I'm not too lateName: Greg MantleAlias: IroncladGender: MaleAge: 38Powers/Abilities: Despite possessing little formal training, Greg is a natural genius when it comes to engineering. He did not use these considerable skills until recently, when he built his suit of powered armor. Though crude, it is very durable, able to protect him from attacks and harsh environmental conditions. It also enhances his strength, enabling him to lift objects weighing several tons. The suit is armed with an electrified grappling hook and a high powered welding torch. Though it allows him to run almost as fast a car in straight lines, it is much less agile than even an average person. The haphazard nature of the work makes the armor prone to malfunctions, especially when hit with a powerful electrical shock. The suit is perpetually a work in progress, and by now Greg has gotten quite good at repairing damage using basic materials. If he had good supplies and a few days time, he might even be able to add a new feature to it. When outside of his suit, Greg does not posses any notable combat skills other than some basic "brawling" techniques from his youth.Personality: Gruff but honest, Greg is not gifted with any innate understanding of politeness. He doesn't really care much about fitting in, and is always suspicious of authority. Despite this, he still has a strong sense of right and wrong, and will protect the weak at all costs.Backstory: Greg Mantle came from a lower class family in an industrial town. He loved to tinker, but never paid much attention to school work. He didn't finish high school after getting expelled for starting too many fights, even though he was just standing up for others. He found a job at the steel mill, and moved out as soon as he had enough money. The work wasn't intellectually stimulating, but the pay was enough for his needs. Eventually, he found a wife and settled down. For almost two decades, he worked at the steel mill and raised his children with his wife.In the last year, Greg's life took a marked downward turn. The town's economy had been suffering in recent years, and crime grew worse. The steel mill announced it would be closing and laying off all workers, further dampening the mood. As his job prospects looked grimmer, Greg became an alcoholic to cope with the stress of daily life. His marriage began to fall apart after he discovered his wife had been cheating on him. After a nasty divorce and several rounds of layoffs, he found himself unwed, jobless, and homeless. Greg lived in the towns junkyard, and began to tinker to pass the time, gradually building his suit of powered armor. As he was finishing it, he realized what he could use it for. His town needed someone to help, after corporations and governments had failed so bad. Having lost everything he had, there was nothing holding him back from a hero. Greg donned his suit of armor and became Ironclad, leaving his old life behind.Alignment Status: Good, but doesn't like to work the policeWaffle Tomato Toaster Oven

Accepted!
@KradKazumi: Yeah, we can still go through with the allying thing, no worries.

This could totally happen xD!
God that would be so awesome :D! Better yet, she should just have an audio file that only repeats Fus Roh Dah, and she can pause and unpause it at will and be all, "I'M THE MOTHERFUCKING DOVAHKIIN!"
You know what I just thought of? Sue having audio from the Skyrim trailer on her phone, so that when it gets to the "FUS ROH DAH" part, everything gets blown away!
Abaddon wouldn't do that though, and his most recent actions require a response of sorts...

I know, I might introduce Scorn shortly.

Mimic leaps under the stream of blood, then rolls and jumps up, kicking Gabriel with both feet. As Gabriel falls, Mimic grabs the student's shoulders, rides him to the ground, then he tilts his head and asks, "Care to know what your power feels like to others?"

"Let me guess, a hot bath? You damn people need to work on your insults..."

Acidic yet misty blood rose up from Gabriel's body to envelop Mimic...

So that means I'm stuck in place...
"Well shit..."

Abaddon had been left to deal with a guy who had a device attatched to him that would detonate the bank if he received a force as little as a simple shove. Unfortunately, Abaddon was used to mauling his opponents.
Was this a bluff? Doubtful. If this guy planted three bombs already and was using them as a distraction to rob the bank, then no doubt he had a final bargaining price up his sleeve to ensure his success. Perhaps it would have been better to let Pete handle this. He could have probably detected the electricity of the device and then deactivated with no trouble...

"Everyone get out. Now."

Abaddon snarled to try and get people to move out of the building. He kept some tendrils trained at Persona in case he tried to use his weapon to scare the civilians into staying put. Snatching the gun away probably wouldn't cause much of a jolt..m

Edited my character sheet, hope it is up to your standards.

Mmm...
Better. Some grammar and spelling issues here and there, but it is understandable. I think that the personality can be included, seeing as how each Red Lantern has a different past and has suffered different things. Even though they're all joined together by rage, they're still different somehow. Bleez is cunning and sneaky, RankorrĀ is a bit more logical than the rest, and Atrocitus.... well, he's Atrocitus xD.

You're in.
