Shit. now the kid was down. Damian quickly got up and ran towards the trench that Scott had gone down in. noticing the wound he tore open the trouser leg, and laughed. "You lucky son of a bitch, its a ricochet. must've hit a rock or one of those iron things that are along the beach." there was blood coming from the wound but it wasnt deep to a point where it was serious. he had to however get the round out of scotts leg. most of the medics were with the engineers at the beach head so that wasnt an option. " Brace yourself kid this is gonna be painful" he said grabbing his bayonet from his pack.

"Hey, were gonna do this now. follow me and just suppress the guy up in the pillbox. were gonna link up with the engineers up on the front line" Damian said pulling his rifle around so he was ready to fire. he waited for the rounds to stop firing. Looking down his sights he aimed at the guy reloading the weapon, *blam* *blam* *blam* 3 shots zipped off towards, the first pinged of the ammo case, the second ricocheted of the weapon its self and hit the main gunner and the final round hit the german soldier in his shoulder incapacitating him. Damian now took off towards the beach head and then motioned for Scott to do the same
