Once Rio looked back, he was tugging on her uniform... Cuteness was certainly one of Rio's weaknesses... Shou must of known because he was certainly getting to her... Rio's face blanked for a moment as she looked down at him, noting the fact that he was shorter than her. Although Rio didn't feel that she was right for the job... She had made up her mind. If Shou thought so strongly towards this then... She guessed there would be no harm in accepting the proposition. She crossed her arms, but gave another small smile to show that she wasn't all stone...

As Rio agreed to be Shou's mentor he grinned then threw his hands in the air and began running around her, almost entirely ignoring the fact she would be serious at times. He didn't care for that though right now, the first step of his dream started today and this women would help him get there which would hopefully do her some good. As Shou ran around Rio he then stopped behind her and leaped up onto her back grinning "Yeah! Number one Mentor and Student! we are going to beat some baddies! then we going to have fun!!" Shou then began laughing a little, un aware of the fact that what he was doing may annoy Rio

Shiro now the Captain of Squad 11 and feeling like he had finally earned the title Kenpachi wanted to celebrate but he knew asking his Squad to celebrate with him was pointless, they would never agree as a lot of them had seen Shiro drunk and Shiro drunk was NOT good for anyone, especially them. So without a word Shiro left his barracks, his tattered Haori flickering in the wind as he walked down one of the many roads of the Seireitei. After a short walk he arrived at a bar and the second he stepped in everything seemingly stopped which only caused him to grin, he then walked to the counter then spoke "Get me the strongest drink you got! And don't give me any shit!" The barkeeper shook a little as he grabbed the bottle of drink for Shiro, he then went to get a small cup only to have the bottle snatched from his hand and found Shiro chugging it down, he then slammed the bottle down then spoke "Get me another!"

Rio's eye widened during Shou's display. It was done with great skill and precision... It was just interesting to watch. Her eye reverted to normal as she clapped a few times. She finally let herself smile, giving Shou a small smile to show her appreciation. Rio looked down, trying not to let herself get upset again... She smiled a little once more, looking back up at Shou. .

Shou looked at Rio as she spoke, he then noticed her drift off a little but it seemed for once she was smiling, it was then Shou knew he wanted Rio to be his Mentor. He saw the kind side of her and that was what he wanted in a mentor, As Rio mentioned Squad 2 he just couldn't help but see her mind drift off and when it did he got closer to her then pulled on her uniform and looked up at her "I don't want to be in Squad 2, I want you as my Mentor so I will likely join the Squad you are in..." Shou looked up at her with an innocent face, his hair falling infront of his left eye a little

Rio kept her arms crossed while watching Shou, her face never budged from her usual expression. She tried to urge him to go with his first thought or something he enjoyed doing. This would give Rio an insight to what Shou's go-to skill was which would also help her decided who'd be the best mentor for him. Usually one wouldn't go through so much effort for another they didn't know... Rio wasn't like that, she'd go that extra mile to help anyone who'd seek her assistance. The current situation vaguely reminded of her first meet with Kaiz-... She shook her head all of a sudden to prevent her mind from wondering towards that part of her memory... Now wasn't the time nor the place.

Shou listened to Rio speak then gave a light shrug guess he had to just show her what he could, a good thing he had just spent the past few minutes working on that Kido. Shou started by using the tumbleweed Kido, he formed it so that it would appear just above him, he then unsheathed his Zanpakuto and in one swift movement from the unsheathing, to the precise cut and the sheathing of his Zanpakuto, he destroyed the tumbleweed effectively and with great precision. Shou then formed a few more tumble weed, once again they formed in the sky and began dropping towards the ground, as they did Sho fired off three individual Kido to destroy the tumbleweeds and in this order they were used. Hado 4, Hado 31 and Hado 33, they were all used with great speed, each one carrying great power and speed without the incantation, further showing Shou's skill. Shou then formed another tumble weed, once again the same as it dropped from the sky, Shou then shunpoed under it as it fell and once it got close he threw his body back and into the air, flipping back he slammed his right foot into the tumbleweed sending it flying before landing on his feet again, he then turned to Rio and blinked "Is that enough" Shou then grinned at Rio, hoping he had done good, he didn't show much but it was something at least...

Rio watched Shou's cheerful display with her usual straight face before cocking an eyebrow in response to what he had said. She spoke with usual calmness. Turing around, Rio began walking. She stated. She didn't want to come across as soft to Shou to show him that she was serious about helping him out.Rio led Shou to a forest of bamboo, the one near Kaizo's destroyed shack. Suddenly stopping and turning to Shou, she crossed her arms. Observing Shou's body language, Rio awaited an answer.

Shou pouted a little when she said she couldn't be his mentor, she seemed so nice but now she was just being mean which kinda sucked. Shou followed behind Rio with his hands in his pockets, half way however he pulled out the paper with the tumbleweed kido on. Shou began practising the Kido on the way there, making it appear and disappear while also trying out possibilities of making it larger or smaller than normal, to some people this would seem pointless however Shou's mind began working and he had instantly come up with something new, in doing this he had grown oblivious to the fact that he had mastered this Kido in such short time. The kido may not have been the greatest but regardless...mastering a Kido in such time was impressive by all means.

Soon they arrived at the bamboo forest and instantly Shou placed the paper into his uniform and stopped with the Kido. Instead he listened to Rio yet raised an eye brow as he then tilted his head to the left then spoke "How though? in what way do you want me to show you what I can do? do you wish for me to attack you or simply show you what I can do with whats around me?"

Rio smirked a little, having a good idea of who Shou must of been talking about. She then watched him as he spoke again, her face reverting to neutral. Rio shook her head a little, letting out a small sigh. Rio looked at Shou again, showing no emotion reaction to what he said next, but one thing confused her... However, she had a theory of what he might of been trying to get at. Rio kept her eye on him, watching his body language closely. She didn't feel that she was suitable enough to become a mentor... After all, she was still learning herself, how could she teach someone else at the same time?... Although, she remembered her first day within the Seireitei. She had already decided that she wanted Captain Kuchiki to be her mentor, not really bothered about being in a Squad itself... So she could emphasize.

Shou listened to Rio, it seemed as if she knew who he was on about then she said about her being a mentor to him which wasn't really a bad idea...as a 3rd seat she'd know these Squads better than most and if she could teach him stuff that'd work out great to...maybe hanging around her wouldn't be bad at all, she seemed nice anyway "Yeah! something like that! you could be a perfect mentor to me! You're strong, seem smart, cool looking and generally nice so why not? It'd be good" Shou gained a cheesy grin on his face and looked into Rio's eye with his big brown eyes, the eye patch didn't bother him...just made her look more bad ass and like...battle scared in a bad ass way

Rio blinked as the kid stated that he found her. She asked, not sure what else to say, especially not after he started looking around her and up and down her. Narrowing her eye, she kept her arms crossed. Rio kept her eye narrowed at the child, not sure with what he wanted. .

Shou continued to watch Rio then he listened as she spoke "Why would I need to be charming? I'm not trying to be like that guy in Squad 10 who fails at love! Hmph!" Shou then crossed his arms and pouted before speaking again "Hey just cause I'm a child doesn't mean you can call me one! And my name is Shou" When Rio mentioned about a Squad his arms fell to his sides as he let out a sigh, his head dropping a little "I don't know what I'm doing...I don't know why but none of these Squads seem right, at least not from what I can see...that's why I wished for you so I could be pointed in the right direction and stuff..." Shou then gently kicked the floor with the sole of his right shoe as he let out another sigh

Rio continued to walk, getting closer to her destination. Something softly bounced into her from behind, causing Rio to stop and look over her shoulder. Her left eye slightly widened. Raising a confused eyebrow, Rio was about to look behind the tumble-weed before it suddenly exploded into a puff of smoke. As she was about to turn back and continue walking, a glimpse of brown hair being uncovered by the smoke caused her to look back into the smoke. As it cleared, a young boy was revealed from behind the smoke. Was he lost? Probably. Straightening up, Rio finally turned her body around to face the boy who jumped a little. This made Rio's eyebrows raise a touch in slight surprise. She asked politely, crossing her arms as her face held it's neutral nature.

Shou watched the women turn to look at him which made his eyes widen a little then suddenly she spoke causing him to blink Okay Shou...be brave...she could be the one you're looking for. Instead of replying Shou simply walked around Rio, looking at her all over before stopping infront of her and having to look right up at her "I'm not lost, I just found you didn't I?" Shou said with a grin on his face "So you must be the one who is going to help me! the one I just wished for! You certainly look strong and you don't look to weird either which is good...you seem just about right...soo...what do we do now?" Shou asked tilting his head to the left slightly giving a questionable expression

Rio muttered to herself, thinking aloud as she began strolling down one of the many pathways of the Seireitei. Her hands were stuffed in her pockets and eye pointed down. Rio wasn't angry about what happened, more annoyed if anything. Why couldn't Patrika just co-operate? What did Rio do that was so bad to cause this amount of hatred towards her? The reality of this was that Rio still gained no access to any past memories... You'd think that being with Kazuhiko and Souta would trigger something... but no... nothing.... Still that blurry fuzziness that only frustrated Rio. She continued to wonder the streets, almost as if on auto-pilot as she knew the way to her destination well, however she was equally oblivious to her surroundings.

As Shou sat on the bench thinking he saw a women walk infront of him, this caused his head to shoot up as he looked at her, he then Squinted and leaped off the bench and ran up behind her, his tiny feet making pitter patters as he got closer before he hid behind something. He then pulled out the piece of paper and read it quickly then instantly began trying to form the Kido that made a tumble weed and with great succession or so he thought he had formed the tumble weed, now to guide it. Shou guided the tumble weed towards the women and made it bounce into her then roll back a bit and stop, just far enough away that she couldn't reach it however it began to warp slightly which caused it to suddenly explode into a big cloud of smoke, Shou then gulped as he ran around the corner and towards the smoke cloud and stood there looking about a bit trying to see what happened, however when the smoke cleared he'd be seen clearly, this meant his cover was blown which caused him to jump a little when he looked at the women

Shou finally graduated from the Academy, and in great time. Within a year Shou had passed the Academy and was easily the top of his class which frustrated people as Shou was so young compared to them. Shou immediately wanted to see what each Squad had to offer in terms of their higher ups and duties, recently the Soul Society had come under attack from Arrancar and thankfully the Academy was untouched but still the thought of the Shinigami's defences being so weak was worrying...then again, they were deceived.

Shou wandered around in the small crowds and made his way around the barracks, he had passed a few barracks and they seemed somewhat empty however he checked out a few that seemed a bit busier. One was filled with a dumb guy with a big sword beating his subordinates up, another was filled with a big loser hitting on some women in his Squad. All Shou did was shake his head and mumble to himself "His love life must be such a string of misery" Shou moved on to other barracks. The 12th seemed to freaky, 9th was a bit to...meh, 8th was just filled with weird women and some rather camp looking guy, 7th was near on empty, the 6th had a pole dancer and a cold captain, the 5th was to...odd, 4th was to healy and sick people weirded him out a bit, 3rd was in a bit of turmoil, 2nd was not his style and the 1st....well...they weren't accepting as they wanted to encourage other Shinigami to join the other squads.

Shou ended up sat on a bench kicking his feet in the air as he was to small for his feet to touch the ground "Where do I go? all these Squads seem weird...none of them seem to have anything that good. Maybe I should look again?" Shou then let out a sigh as his head dropped, Shou then looked up and noticed a tumble weed roll by which made him raise an eyebrow "Why is there a tumble weed in the Soul Society? " Shou then heard a voice come from behind him which made him jump off the bench and turn to look at the man who spoke "Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you...but it's pretty neat that isn't it? the tumble weed I mean." Shou blinked at the man then spoke "Hmm...it does look like it could be fun. How did you get a tumble weed though?" The man clicked his fingers causing the tumble weed to go up in a small poof of smoke "It's one of my custom Kido's...sure it's silly but as you pointed out, it's a bit of fun. I just retired from my position as Lieutenant of Squad 10 to open up a shop that sells fun little Kido's like that one...well...that and a few serious ones. I only sell the fun one's to people I like. The name is Ryota just to let you know, in case you were wondering" Shou nodded at the man then spoke "Well this seems awesome! I think it's a great use of Kido, can help make it fun!" Shou said with a smile on his face "Well then, this one is on the house...but make sure to come visit my shop, directions will be on this paper." Ryota then handed Shou a small piece of paper with instructions for the Kido then he vanished himself in a cloud of smoke leaving Shou holding a small piece of paper looking confused however a smile soon formed on his face as he held the paper up in the air "YES! That guy is awesome! I wonder what else he has created!? Oh I've got to learn this as soon as possible!"

Shou's expression then turned to that of a serious one as he thought for a second "But first...I need to get into a Squad..." Shou tucked the paper away into his uniform then jumped back up onto the bench and began thinking once again, he just needed some help with this...he needed a sign or something...someone to point him the right direction
