Rio moved both of her arms in front of her face in a crossed motion, blocking herself as she allowed the Hado to hit her. Her arms smoked as she watched Shou quickly get onto his feet and shunpo into the air, following his spiritual energy to find him preforming yet another Hado. Shunpo'ing herself above the area Shou aimed at, Rio jumped higher, her right hand lifting her Katana high in the air while her left was off to the side. As she moved closer to Shou, Rio bought her blade down, aiming to clash with his sword. Her face still holding the same expression, utter calmness.

Shou watched as Rio took the Hado 31 straight on, it seemed she was testing his capabilities more so than fighting him seriously, if that was the case, then Shou would show her everything he was capable of. Seeing Rio dodge his second Hado and appear just above him was a surprise but something he half anticipated, Shou's mind by now began working and the only thing holding him back was his lack of skill. Shou raised his Zanpakuto and clashed with Rio's, he then used his free left hand to form a tumble weed which he threw at Rio's face, then Shou pulled his Zanpakuto back away from Rio's and aimed to stab through the tumble weed and cut Rio's right shoulder or even pierce it. As a 3rd seat she could take more punishment than him meaning he didn't have to hold back on her however in the case she decided to use her free hand or even her Zanpakuto for an attack, he prepared his mind and free hand for whatever may come next...

Shou dodged the first attack, a good start. Within Rio's mind, she began noting down key things that she had observed. A Hado was aimed her way and due to her calm state, she managed to make a move, simply turning her body to the side, narrowly missing the blast yet it did catch onto a piece of her clothing. Extending her left index and middle finger with her arm raised, the same Hado Byakurai was shot back at Shou before he had expelled all of the Hado he had preformed so the Hado she shot back would interrupt his attack. It was of a low strength, only enough to give Shou a small bruise if hit.

Shou watched his attack barely miss Rio, this made his eyes narrow slightly however they then soon widened as he noticed a Hado 4 coming right back at him, he barely had time to dodge which was shown by him jumping out of the way and getting a cut from the hado on the top of his right shoulder, He then rolled and during this roll he charged up a Hado 31 and fired it at Rio before getting to his feet and shunpoing high into the air in one swift movement, Shou then held his Zanpakuto horizontally and placed his left palm over the end of the blade as the Zanpakuto began to glow yellow as it then fired off a wide arc of yellow energy down towards Rio, aiming to hit her if she were to only slightly dodge the first attack

Ritsuna took a seat onto the ground before Kaizo began talking, getting comfortable as he shared his feelings with her. She listened closely, truly interested in what he had to say. It wasn't until after he spoke did she share her thoughts. Ritsuna tried her best to comfort Kaizo and motivate him... whether it was working or not was an entirely different story....

Kaizo listened to Ritsuna, he could see or more hear she was trying to comfort him and make him feel better and it kinda did, enough to motivate him to actually train. Kaizo took a deep breath then got to his feet then looked down at Ritsuna "Thank you. I guess all I needed was a little reassurance...or maybe because it came from you it meant more." Kaizo smiled a little at Ritsuna before speaking again "You best get back to Master Juki...you know what he is like if he starts trying to cook..." Kaizo then briefly remembered the time Juki burnt down the kitchen trying to make himself a sandwich, the thought made Kaizo chuckle a little...the man was a genius but hand him the task of trying to make something to eat and the whole world falls apart

"Yeah well he must have always been gay since I've known him awhile...but hell, I'm sure some gay dudes wouldn't mind taking a pounding from him...or maybe he likes to get pounded?" Shiro shrugged, not really knowing what kind Hikari would be. "What way did you think I meant?! that was the way I was on about! I mean shit...get to take out some rage and get pleasure." Shiro then grinned before speaking again "I'm full of surprises...you have no idea what I'm really like" Shiro then chuckled before listening to what else She had to say, then she mentioned about guys with big swords having small penis's "I don't know where the hell you heard that but it aint true. If you're lucky enough you may get first hand proof of that...I can assure you it is a bit different than what you heard...more so guys with big swords have big penis's. So...I may very well be able to help you find out...depends in what way you want to find out" Shiro's grin then grew wider, right now Nishiki may have been drunk but he to was getting to that point so it wasn't all bad...but the way Nishiki was speaking, if she carried on...he'd end up doing something to her, even right here if need be...

Ritsuna kept quiet, smiling as he spoke about her look and voice. She saw it as a compliment.. Since it came from Juki, it made her extremely happy. She grinned before raising out of her seat and neatly placing her napkin beside her unfinished plate of food. After giving Juki a bow, Ritsuna turned towards the door. With that, she left for the training room.Knocking on the door, Ritsuna peered inside, looking around. She called, stepping further into the room. After looking around for a little, Ritsuna found Kaizo sat against a boulder. Ritsuna smiled as she spoke, hoping to urge Kaizo to open up to her.

Juki listened to Ritsuna then watched as she left...she was quite caring despite how she was when people acted out of line she was quite the caring type, it was nice to see this side of her..well this side of her with other people

~Underground~

As Kaizo sat against the boulder thinking he heard Ritsuna's voice, he instantly snapped out of his day dream and expected to get told off for something however when she got to him what she said shocked him a little...well a lot...Kaizo looked up to her then down to the floor "It's fine don't worry about it, I know you are just doing what you enjoy which is serving Master Juki. As for whats wrong...it's hard to think where to begin...I guess number one is being arrested for a crime I didn't commit and then set free by someone I don't even know..being forced to go on the run just to try survive and then having to leave the love of my life behind then spend over a year training to get stronger so I can protect her, only to find out I'm still not strong enough after everything...it just makes me doubt whether I'll ever be strong enough to protect her..."

Nishiki giggled a little. She giggled a little more at the end of her sentence before listening to Shiro again, giving him a punch in the arm. She rolled her eyes but smirked, showing Shiro that she wasn't completely serious either. Her face then blushed deeply when he accused her of flirting with him, causing her eyes to widen a little. She gulped before looking away, still blushing.

Shiro listened to Nishiki then raised an eyebrow when she said about Hikari being his boyfriend "Woah! what the hell has he been telling you?! I don't know about him but I don't swing that way...although that would explain why he was looking at me in an odd almost lustful way when I was getting undressed that time in the spa changing rooms. Regardless! That isn't the case and it never will be! so keep those sort of thought's in your head or you will have an angry Captain and an Angry gay guy!...never had Hikari down as the gay type but guess he is if he didn't take the chance to have sex with two beautiful women at the same time..." This made Shiro think a little and it was odd to think Hikari swung that way but it did explain a lot...Shiro then felt a punch in his arm causing him to look down at Nishiki "What? No fun being laid back all the time and that's how I relax! How else am I supposed to relax?!" Shiro had a way in mind but that required someone else...Shiro however stopped this thought as he saw Nishiki's eyes widen and a blush coat her cheeks causing him to grin "Who said it'd be disrespectful? maybe that's the sort of thing I like..." Shiro then chuckled a little seeing Nishiki turn away, she was a fun girl alright...maybe in more ways than one

Once she heard the sound of Juki's voice, Ritsuna perked up, the end of her fork in her mouth. She listened to him talk before her eyes slid to the half empty plate of food in front of her, placing her utensils down on the edges of the plate. A smile slowly grew on Ritsuna's face before she looked up and at Juki. She spoke her thoughts, unable to keep anything from her Master. Even if she did try to lie, Juki knew her thoroughly, enough to call her out on it almost instantly.

Juki watched Ritsuna carefully, listening to every word she said. "It is true, Kaizo is indeed a lot more upset than usual. I feel I know why however I dare not to ask...I do worry though. Perhaps you'd do a better job of it than me, I'm not exactly the greatest at these sort of things and if I go saying the wrong thing I could upset him, plus you are a much easier person to talk to than I. You have a much more soothing look, and your voice is gentle...the sort of things Kaizo may need right now. However...only go if you are that concerned...if not. Then do not worry..." In truth Juki could have likely gone and talked to Kaizo but it was good for Ritsuna to show care for others...

Nishiki continued to pout and sip her drink even as Shiro walked up and rested his arm over her shoulder. She kept her eyes away, however as she spoke, Shiro's hand would brush against her left breast ever so slightly. This made Nishiki blush a little more, not just from her drunken state... She asked after a minute of registering what he had just said. Turning her head a little, she looked up at Shiro with a face of curiosity, almost seeming cute.

Shiro shrugged a little then then he felt his hand brush against her left breast slightly, he decided not to act weird about it just speak back to her normally "Hey I'm only joking around, I'm just a little excited...it's a nice change to have someone to drink with." Shiro then listened to what else Nishiki said then spoke "Of course, I wouldn't bring you along if you were boring...although you can sometimes be boring" Shiro said the last part with a grin followed by a chuckle to show he wasn't being serious, he then looked down at her as she looked up at him "What's with that face? you trying to seduce your Captain or somethin'?" Shiro held back a grin, he wanted her to almost believe that he was being serious when he wasn't.

Rio's eyes widened quiet abit after Shou unexpectedly turned and challenged her. Quickly regaining her composure, Rio observed the young one with her left eye, watching as he stood, ready for battle. After a few minutes of silence, Rio made her decision. Reaching her right hand over to the left side of her body, Rio unsheathed Hana, but left Kan in her sheathe that hung on the right side of Rio's hip, deciding to only start with one blade. Before Shou could make a start, Rio shunpo'ed and reappeared behind him, aiming to give him a chop to the back of his head with her free left hand. It wouldn't be with all of her power, but it would be strong enough to knock Shou forward. Rio's face kept the same stern, straight expression throughout the whole time.

Shou watched Rio, all his concentration put into everything, he was relying less on sight and more on sense of smell and hearing. In the Academy Shou was taught that against a much stronger opponent sight would let you down, Shou then gripped his Zanpakuto tighter and then saw Rio disappear, he then went to his sense of hearing before hearing a twig snap behind him, he threw his body into a spin so he could turn as soon as possible to try block any incoming attack, however he barely managed to dodge the chop Rio went to give him, thankfully she didn't follow up with another attack but still. Shou then landed back on the floor and slid back a little, he took his left hand off his Zanpakuto then pointed his index finger at Rio and fired a Hado 4, he aimed this to hit he right shoulder. Knowing she was stronger meant he didn't have to really worry about wounding her badly but he'd actually try, it may shock her, in turn creating some form of even small respect for Shou...

Ritsuna paid no mind to Kaizo leaving, as far as she was concerned, he deserved to be upset. Instead she occupied herself with the gorgeous sight of the man of her dreams, that so happened to be her Master. She listened carefully and quietly to what Juki said, hanging onto every word as she usually would. Blinking a few times after Juki finished speaking, Ritsuna didn't know what exactly to respond with so she just kept quiet. Placing a napkin onto her lap, Ritsuna shared out the food between herself and Juki. It wasn't until halfway through the meal did something plague her mind. Ritsuna kept her eyes down, eating absent-mindedly as she was lost within her own mind.

As Juki ate he noticed Ritsuna thinking, this caused him to set down his knife and fork then dab his mouth with his napkin before speaking "Is there something you wish to say Ritsuna? something seems to be on your mind. Remember I am here for you to if you need someone to talk to..." Juki had a good eye for this sort of thing, after all, he specialised in the movements and expressions of all creatures, it was handy for not only battle but his work...

~In the underground training room~

Kaizo sat with his back against a large boulder, his head rested back on it as he looked up to the artificial sky "Why must this take so long...all I want to do is return to you Rio, I don't want to spend forever running away from something that wasn't even my fault...after all, I'm better now...I think. However I'm still not ready to protect you...something I must do no matter what...if you hadn't of found me, who knows what state I would of ended up in..." As Kaizo spoke the last part he closed his eyes and began thinking of that time...the first time he met Rio...
