By that logic what is the point in a Captain doing this against a Lieutenant? or a Lieutenant doing this against a seated or unseated member? or a seated member doing this to an unseated member?
The idea of a stronger person lowering their spiritual energy is to challenge the person. You are looking at it as one side MUST win and of course the Lieutenant wins 10/10.
When two Shinigami spar, or heavy spar they should never even be aiming to win...whats the point in one side winning? so that person can brag about their character? Make it obvious their char is clearly stronger?
So now with Shiro training Nishiki I should not bother cause it's obvious who will win. Yet that's not what I am aiming for...if Shiro fought anyone in the Seireitei he'd lower his energy to their level and fight them for fun, not to beat them, he doesn't give a shit about beating someone in the Gotei 13, it's no interest to him. Maybe another Captain sure but that's only because he wouldn't have to hold back but even then he knows that's something that wont happen unless the guy/girl betrays the Seireitei.
Rio lowering her energy to go against those two was something any Lieutenant would do, however as it's so painfully obvious Rio is clearly struggling with some sort of problem right now that basically turns her aggressive, angry and argumentative and so all Abi was doing was staying true to her character sooo the problem is? You'd be pissed if I jumped on Hikari for suddenly having some emotional issue in which he lashed out at Haruka and beat her across the damn room before being dragged off.
I'm really finding a lack of understanding for anyone's characters recently and this honestly does come from a few people. it's like nothing can be serious anymore. Apparently Shiro and Nishiki cannot make stupid sexual references about things yet go on to have a serious training session without it being pointed out that "Shiro and Nishiki are having another sex session, we know how this goes" They did it one time and haven't done it since, their relationship has been growing from there, and in their own way.
Once again like a previous matter I don't want to hear any crap on this. I don't want anymore people picking out crap about people's chars. The second I see it I will do it to them, even if it's not true I don't care...if people plan to try annoy eachother and act like children about it then I will treat those people like children and give them a taste of their own medicine. I only mention this cause this lead to something that clearly bothered Abi and from an outside perspective resulted in her being ganged up on =/ I'm looking at this from a GM perspective and yeah it's quite obvious this is a recurring theme...when she goes to defend herself it gets worse. However if it is something that happens between let's say you and Zane it hardly goes into an argument in which one side actually gets hurt by it. I am talking about in this RP, usually you two agree on anything, yet Abi states her opinion on something and she gets crap for it? if I usually state an opinion I don't get crap for it yet she does...this is pretty worrying in truth.
If you want to complain about this then complain to my PM box cause it's not a matter that should be discussed in the OOC as no one else should be dragged into it. This does apply to anyone who has some sort of issue with what I am saying. if you don't then good, if you accept it then I applaud you for handling this maturely and actually listening to what the GM has actually said as opposed to arguing about it. So...want to complain about this, complain to my PM box, although I'd prefer to not see anything I am preparing myself to expect something. It's only natural...people aren't usually accepting of being told they are doing wrong or even being accused of doing something wrong...
(Note: I have been looking at this from a GM perspective and I would mention other cases however this only seems to happen to the one person)
