Shinji continued to look out into the distance then he turned and looked at the door to his office once the young Shinigami arrived, he allowed him to enter his office then he listened as the young Shinigami spoke and it was just as he thought...or more hoped...someone finally plucked the courage to join his Squad...well...someone who wanted to be more than just a guard. Shinji looked Yu in the eyes then closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them and speaking "I see so you want to join Squad 1?...Well...can you tell me what makes you think that you can get into this squad?...what makes you different from all the other Shinigami out there?...what makes you think you can be the best of the best? Can you answer these questions...Yu amagi..." as Shinji said the shinigami's name his red eyes seemed to let out a small glow then he waited for the young Shinigami's answer...Shinji had to make sure this wouldn't be a waste of his time and that the Shinigami had the guts, brains, leadership and more to be in the Squad

Yu walked along a path walking past Fellow Shinigami who were making their way back to the squads they were apart of. Yu looked up at the gray sky above him, it was quite uncommon for the skies to be gray, when they are mostly Blue. He didn't really mind this all too much, as it wasn't like it was harmful to him in anyway. Yu continued walked when he came upon a building with the insignia for Squad one. He stood there looking at the insignia for a bit before looking back at the building. He turned his attention towards one of the Shinigami inside the gates of the barracks, and ask him if he could get the Captain.

Shinji had been sat in his office observing the weather outside from his large balcony, the rain never phased him but during his time sitting around and observing something peaked his interest, he noticed a young male Shinigami making their way to the Squad barracks, Shinji stood up from his chair and walked to the edge of the balcony and looked down as one of the guards let the young male Shinigami into the Squad barracks then escorted him to the Captains office but in the mean time whilst he waited he couldn't help but think to himself but this ended up turning into him speaking to himself "I wonder if this Shinigami is here to try join my Squad...will certainly make this day far more interesting if this is the case.." a small smirk formed on Shinji's face but he quickly composed himself and waited for the young male Shinigami to arrive at his office
