Yu made his way back to the Squad one building where the one at the gate looked surprised that he was fine, as they always seen people having to be carried out, or worse. Yet they opened the gate for Yu, and as he entered he couldn't help but feel all of them looking at him. Probably because Squad One was meant to be role models for all future Shinigami and with Yu being rather new, they most likely felt he wasn't that worthy to be in the squad. Yu however just smiled and shrugged off their looks. For all he knew, they were more shocked he wasn't missing any body parts.

Shinji was sat in his office doing paperwork and checking over recent activities of the Squads when he felt a small spiritual energy enter the Squad 1 barracks. "Hmm...back so soon? guess he wasn't wounded enough...can't complain though" Shinji stood up from his desk then walked around his desk to his office door then he opened it and took a stop out into the hall then vanished and in under a second he appeared behind Yu towering over him "I see the new Captain I hired for Squad 4 is doing his job well...you came back so soon...he really is a miracle healer..."

After a moment of silence passed between the two, Rio spoke up and offered Kenta a small smile. As she spoke, she continued to marvel at her blades and decided to keep them in their released state to get used to the feel of them. With that, Rio turned and left the hideout, running at a fast speed towards a certain bamboo forest she past one time while on her way to a certain district for a mission. Rio smirked at Hana's comment and continued to move. It didn't take long until she found the destination she was searching for, however, she found something else that caused her to immediately mask her spiritual pressure. She asked her weapons. Rio kept her spiritual energy pushed down and compressed as she wondered through the bamboo-filled forest. But then... "Come on work you useless legs!! don't give up!!" Rio followed the shouts, gripping the crystal gold and blue handles of both of her Zanpakuto's. Her eyes widened a touch when she witnessed a man punching himself in the legs whilst on his knees. She inched closer with caution and released the restriction she had on her spiritual energy to make herself known. Rio asked, making sure to stay on guard.

Kaizo grit his teeth as he hit his leg one more time..."Dammit...so...useless..." Kaizo was about to hit his leg again when he heard a voice which made his eyes widen, he then looked up to see a women standing there "Dammit when did she get here? How did I not notice!? she could have killed me! so pathetic!" Kaizo wiped his forehead as it began to rain, he then forced himself to his feet and tried not to stumble as he did due to the immense pain going through his legs "Y-yeah I'm fine...just...been training..that's all..." Kaizo looked at his hut then the sky as he watched the rain pour then he looked to the girl who just arrived "If you don't want to get wet you can come into my hut until it passes...it's nothing much...just like me" The last part Kaizo muttered under his breath so it'd be difficult to hear "But...it may help keep you dry..." Kaizo didn't know what he was doing...in truth he was somewhat nervous which could probably be seen by how he wasn't really keeping eye contact with the girl

Kaizo had spent almost a day training...a straight up day and now he was entirely out of energy, he stumbled to the rotten hut then fell into it back first then slid down it until he was sat on the floor with his back against the hut, his head fell back and now he was looking up into the night sky and breathing deeply "Still...not...good...enough...I need to go more!...I can't give up!" Kaizo clenched his hands into fists then forced himself back to his feet then he took a few shaky steps before falling down to his knees "Come on work you useless legs!! don't give up!!" Kaizo then hit his legs over and over "Work! work! work!! DAMMIT WORK!!" He gave his right leg a final punch then stopped..."Why can't I keep going!..."...Kaizo cursed himself for being so weak even though he wasn't...but he couldn't see it
