Giovanni listened intently. He wasnt exactly surprised that the leadership fell on the head captain. What did seem strange was that in the years since the apparent dethroning of the previous kido captain no one has replaced him. so either the head captain was very peculiar about who was to be in charge, or he was unwilling to relinquish any of the power he already held. since the stealth force was a part of squad 2 it was technically under his command as well. in short this one man had control of the entire military and very few people knew. most assumed, correction, most were taught that the kido corp was separate to prevent one person from amassing such power. well that clearly didnt work but if central 46 allowed it then there shouldnt be anything to worry about. Gio nodded but is curiosity had gotten the best of him " if it is as you say it is then my suspicions were correct. i was confused as to why I not only had to search out the HQ of the kido corps on my own to be allowed entry into its rank but even upon entry I was, well to be blunt sir, i was put out. historically they train their members in secret but i was set to train on my own it seems. With most soul reapers joining the more popular branches i would imagine the Corps is lacking on recruits. I wouldn't imagine their missions and duties being notably life threatening but with very little incoming man power its only a matter of time before they fizzle out. I apologize I am ranting. but is there no Lieutenant or 3rd seat to oversee the duties and responsibilities of the kido corp personally as you are more bound to the captancy of the gotei than to the kido corps...sir" that might have came off as something of an insult but it was meant to be a general concern. Gio wasnt quite grasping what was going on but what he did understand he wasnt sure he liked. However he had noticed the head captain offering him a chance to be promoted, perhaps that would gain him clearance to more information. And to think, this was all professional business, chances were he wouldnt get to his personal business, but at this rate that was ok.

Shinji closed his eyes for a moment as he listened to Giovanni then oppened them up once again when he had finished speaking "It's certainly difficult to get people going into that Squad..you see...it's a bit of a catch. The Kido Corps usually send an invitation to Shinigami in the Shino Academy that show promise in Kido however most deny this invitation as they wish to join the normal squads with their friends, then you get people wanting to join who are just as good as those invited but they are usually turned down on a trust issue sort of deal. All in all you see why the Kido Corp's numbers have fallen, even more so without a real Captain. I simply keep check on things and try my best to run it but being in charge of my own Squad and well...12 others it's far from an easy task and is often forgotten from time to time. I'd like for someone to step up to the rank but the issue is they have to be promoted from within the Kido corps...they cannot be outsiders and there are skilled Shinigami there however...they lack leadership and really in truth their power is at the bare minimum I'd expect from a Kido corps Captain...basically all these Shinigami would crack under the pressure of having these ranks...3rd seat included...it'd mean a lot more work for them and I just don't believe they could handle it...so really I have to pretty much hand mold a select few Shinigami from the Kido Corps into Shinigami capable of eventually taking over the Kido Corps and even that will take time...it's unfortunate but thats how it is..."

Thanks for the tips and I can add cool downs no problem, if you could explain the Zanjutsu, Kido, etc a little better cause some don't say seated or unseated, just a number and for some of them, it just says 1-10 or 11-30 kind of thing so I have no clue what that's all about and how to add it or use it for that matter. I'll try to add history and all that soon too since it's looking promising that this toon will get a chance to play.

Well it's simple really what there is that is titled "unseated" means you can start off with those and as for the Kido 1-whatever means you have access to the skills from 1 to lets say 33. Of course I skipped out mentioning them all and want to put them all in but there hasn't been the ability to create tables yet meaning it'd be a mess of Kido's xD If you look at my character Ryuu's profile on the first page he should have every unseated skill you can have listed. I recommend just copying this and throwing it into your profile xD will make your life much easier. As for how to use them? well we will get to that likely in game...it is unbelievably simple O.o but main rule is don't use a skill that is likely to kill someone on your allies xDDD

Shinji listened to Giovanni express his confusion about the Kido corps and it was a fair point...not many knew of them and even when they did they had no idea what they did. "Well...let me say it like this. The Kido Corps have and for the most part will likely always be separate from the Gotei 13 purely for the fact that they don't want outsiders looking in and knowing the in's and out's of their daily routine, the Kido Corps handle sensitive information and most of it as you can imagine is to do with forbidden Kido's...their main priority is to record, store and determine if a Kido is useful, dangerous and so on which of course leads them to giving the Kido a classification and so on. If you didn't know already the previous Kido Corps Captains were such masters of the art they could stop time within a small area and then move that entire area and it's contents elsewhere but that was using a Kido that is forbidden...the Captain wasn't around long after that. Main point is the Kido Corps don't want prying eyes on sensitive data, who knows what damage could be done if your everyday happy go lucky Shinigami got their hands on a destructive Kido. Anyway. On top of all this the Kido Corps maintains and allows passing of people through the Senkimon whilst Squad 12 monitor it's status and so on. Now working your way up an organisation like the Kido Corps is far from easy considering it has no Captain at the moment...of course making me the effective Captain of the Kido Corps. All in all if you want to prove yourself it has to be proven to me...no one else can decide you fate within that Squad except myself. Now. I hope this has answered all your Questions..." Shinji then took a deep breath and waited for Giovanni to reply

Giovanni entered upon hearing permission to do so. It seemed his timing was well enough, the entrance exam that he had almost been sucked in too seemed to have ended. He also noted that he could breath in the head captain presence so the conversation should go smoothly enough so long as no one looses their temper. he dropped to a knee, as was custom when approaching the head captain before speaking. Once giovanni had rested enough to think straight he made his way back to the suad one barracks.there didnt seem to be a second wave on the way from the enemy so he woulalright. Hopefully the head captains spiritual pressure wouldnt sufficate him since he wasnt at full strength like he was last time he was here. The answers he was seeking were important and he had one more question to add to the list, if he could rest in the barracks a while since he currently had no where else to go. As Shinji was working on the large stacks of paperwork a knock came at his door which made him look up then place down his quill and sit back in his chair and speak "you may enter" it seemed people were visiting here more often which was good...he didn't want people to feel intimidated by his position...at least not on the day to day basis but of course when battle came then it'd be a case of showing more respect so he had to balance this out...if he became to cozy and laid back they may take him for a fool but if he sat in the middle sending mixed signals he had a higher chance of them showing respect for his presence in general and not just on the battlefield

Expllo did mention something about your char and I believe it was about yhe skills being good and all they needed was cool downs ^.^ but we can sort that out. And to go to a certain page pronto I found all you have to do is change the page number in the Url bar to whatever page you want and it takes you there xD works for me at least xD
