(Kaizo Priority post!)

Kaizo slowly awoke, his eyes slowly flickering opening with his vision still blurred due to his eyes being closed for so long, as his eyes began to focus he tried to make out where he was, his vision turned to his right where he saw his right wrist shackled to a wall, his head then turned left to see his left also shackled to a wall...however these were made of Kido, likely to stop him from using spiritual energy to escape, he then looked to his feet and saw they to were also shackled which caused his eyes to widen as he struggled a little before he stopped. However he was still panicking "W-What the hell is going on!? why am I here!? HEY! Someone tell me why I'm here!!" Kaizo's heart was sent into a racing beat as he heard the door to his cell open, a tall silhouette stood in the door way, however after a few steps the little light within the room cast upon the figures face revealing it to be the Head Captain which caused Kaizo's eyes to further widen "Head Captain! wh-" Before Kaizo could say anymore he was interrupted by the Head Captain "What happened? is that what you are wondering?...Well...that answers one of my questions, you clearly don't recall what happened...well. Let me fill in the blanks. I'll be blunt and straight to the point...you hollowfied, destroyed a fair portion of the Seireitei and nearly killed the 3rd seat of Squad 11! I'd like to defend your case as I'd be willing to help you but there is no case to defend...you will step into Central 46's chambers and they will immediately decide to execute you. There is no possible way I can over rule this. It saddens me that this is the case but there is nothing I can do...I imagine your execution will be quick. I'm sorry it has to be like this Kaizo...if there was anyway to help you, using my power as Head Captain whilst abiding by the rules then I would take it...however, in this case there is nothing I can do...You have my sincerest apologies...I bid you farewell Kaizo" The Head Captain then turned and took a few steps to the open cell door however he stopped when he heard Kaizo speak "I see...so that is what happened...I understand Head Captain...there is no need to apologize. I endangered everyone's lives and even one I consider my friend and Rival...despite not knowing him so much on a friend bases...he is still my Rival...the fact that he is still alive shows how great of a Shinigami he is. I've heard of people hollowfying and killing even Captains when the victim themselves was only a seated Shinigami...I'm sorry Head Captain. Tomorrow...I will plead guilty to this crime, if I am a danger to everyone and even myself then it is best for my life to be taken in order to potentially save many others...Thank you Head Captain...it's been an honor serving within your thirteen court guard Squads...I only wish I could have lived longer to attain my dream of becoming Squad 2 Captain and avenging my clan..." The Head Captain listened to Kaizo and once he had finished speaking he merely walked forward as the cell door shut behind him. Kaizo then felt a tear roll down his left cheek as he cursed the hollow within him and himself for being so weak and letting it take control of him....

(so there ya got it ladies and gents...Kaizo going on trial tomorrow...today if I feel like speeding it up a bit ^.^)

Rio stopped dead in her tracks... Not moving a muscle and holding her breath. Her wide eyes shook as she slowly looked down before she closed them for a second, realising the breath she held. She then slowly opened them and ridgedly turned her body around to look at Kaizo. Her voice grew into a whisper as she spoke, slowly making her way back over to him. The nurses had soon left, closing the door behind them. A small sad smile found it's way onto her face as she took a seat on the bed next to him, moving her left hand towards him to gently stroke his hair away from his face. The smile soon slipped as her eyes began to water, however she would not let a single tear escape. Rio continued to whisper as she bent forward, her shaky lips planting a soft kiss over his before raising her face to just look at him. His face looked calm despite the ordeal he had been through... .

-A few days later-

Kaizo had finally woken up and was looking like he was getting better, he was sat upright in his bed however he was doing nothing, simply staring into thin air. No one could really tell what was going through Kaizo's head, he didn't really know himself...but something stuck in his head...he had to do it, regardless of his condition. Kaizo looked at his right hand and clenched it into a fist then took a deep breath and grabbed the covers and threw them off him as he got out of his bed and walked towards the window, he grabbed his fresh uniform from a chair nearby and put it on, then he strapped his Zanpakuto to his side and threw open the window then leaped out of it and then snuck out and away from Squad 4. Kaizo made his way through many lanes and roads and in the end he arrived at the place he needed to visit. Kaizo walked into the Squad 11 barracks and threw open the gates as he walked in then he stood there with a look of determination on his face "Where the hell is Shiro Sora!? I hear his lonely ass is sat around here these days..." Kaizo then squinted slightly and turned to look behind him, the sun blocked out the figure's details but he knew it was Shiro. He had been sat on the roof to the small gates smoking his pipe, he looked down at Kaizo then squinted slightly "Well, well, well...looks like something fun arrived, although you seem to be a bit battered already. What happened? have a little issue with a tiny hollow?" Kaizo tilted his head to the right and cracked his neck then spoke to Kaizo "Yeah sure...that'd be funny if you hadn't insulted yourself...by referring to me as weak that means when we last fought you drew with someone weaker than a hollow...think about that for a second dumb ass..." Shiro listened to Kaizo then he frowned and stood up and looked down at Kaizo "What you looking for cripple? a fight? cause if you carry on with your smart ass ways I'll be more than glad to kick your sorry ass...cripple or not..." Kaizo grinned at this then unsheathed his Zanpakuto "Looks like you read my mind...So...you gonna stand there all day looking like the useless shit you are or you gonna get down here and put on a show for your little boyfriends?" Shiro grit his teeth hearing what Kaizo said, he didn't know what it was about this guy but he fucking annoyed him "THAT'S IT! YOU FUCKING ASKED FOR THIS!" Shiro leaped into the air then pulled his Zanpakuto behind his head then came down at Kaizo, aiming to cut him...the full intention of killing him was there. Kaizo grinned at this then raised his Zanpakuto then twisted his body to the left to avoid the slash from Shiro, letting his own Zanpakuto merely scrape Shiro's as Kaizo then threw himself into the air and slammed the top of his left foot into Shiro's gut sending him flying out of the Squad 11 gates and threw a few buildings "Come on...it's embarrassing for this cripple to kick your sorry ass about so easily, get serious..."

Shiro emerged from the rubble of one of the many buildings he flew into, his Zanpakuto rested on the ground with his body hunched over slightly "Oh don't get so cocky...we've only just begun..." Shiro then raised his Zanpakuto and held it out to his right side as he began charging at Kaizo, Spiritual energy then engulfed him as he got closer to Kaizo then he shunpoed and appeared behind Kaizo slashing from right to left aiming to cut Kaizo clean in half however he was only met with Kaizo's Zanpakuto as he had turned to clash with Shiro "You need to be faster..." Kaizo then flicked his left hand and clenched it into a fist as he threw a punch at Shiro, hitting him successfully in the right side of the face and sending him flying into the Squad 11 barracks. "Shit Shiro get serious...this is embarrassing even for m-" Kaizo then noticed a large arc of silver wind fly past him which caused his eyes to widen, he hadn't even seen it...he didn't expect it...he could have been cut clean in two and wouldn't have even been able to do anything about it. He saw Shiro emerge from the dust with his Zanpakuto resting on his right shoulder "Let me tell you something. Just because you got a few hits on the guy you're fighting doesn't mean you're stronger than him...quite the opposite...ever thought that I was testing what you could do?" Shiro then spat blood from his mouth and wiped the blood from it with his left fore arm " cause I got to say...you're weak...weaker than before...something isn't right here. When you hit me last time...I felt pain...this time...I felt nothing." Shiro then stopped infront of Kaizo and looked down at him "cut me...I'll prove it to you..." Kaizo looked at Shiro "Tch! fine...but if I kill you I take no blame for it" Kaizo then slashed up at Shiro, his Zanpakuto hit Shiro's chest and instantly it met resistance, it didn't cut into him, it just flew right off his body without leaving a mark causing Kaizo's eyes to widen "I-Impossible!" Kaizo then felt Shiro's left palm slam into his face as he was then sent flying through a wall. He smashed through the wall and skidded across the floor as rubble coated his body, all he could hear was the sound of Shiro's foot steps getting closer to him, followed by his voice "See what I mean? Weak..."

When Kaizo heard Shiro call him weak that was all that echoed in his head, over and over it was all he could hear and that soon manifested into an unfamiliar voice "Weak, Weak, Weak...go on...show him how weak you really are...fall off your high horse and get beaten..." Kaizo frowned hearing this voice then he stumbled up to his feet panting as he looked at Shiro get closer "I'm not weak! I'M NOT WEAK!!" Kaizo ripped his Zanpakuto in two as it was enveloped in light then they two halves began to form into Kaizo's shikai, he stood there still panting however "Shikai or no Shikai...it wont make a difference here...your power hasn't gone up even slightly..." Kaizo listened to Shiro and hearing what he said made his eyes widen, he was right...his power hadn't increased even slightly...in fact...he could barely feel anything from his Shikai "What the hell is going on" Kaizo said looking down at his Shikai however he quickly looked up as he saw Shiro's Zanpakuto fly at him but his body wouldn't react the Zanpakuto just pierced his left shoulder and flew out the other end into a wall behind him MOVE! COME ON! MOVE DAMMIT!! Kaizo's arms fell by to his side as he then fell to his knee's. Shiro then pulled on the string attached to his Zanpakuto to bring it back to him, he caught his Zanpakuto then rested it on his right shoulder and raised an eyebrow "What the hell you playin' at? get up...fight... Shiro got no reaction from Kaizo, he only saw Kaizo's head drop and hang there "If you don't get up I'll cut you in two right here and now!!! GET UP!!!" Shiro still got no reaction from Kaizo and finally arrived infront of him "FINE GET CUT IN TWO THEN!!!" Shiro lifted his Zanpakuto off his right shoulder and held it high in the air then brought it down at Kaizo aiming to cut him in two

A short burst of energy then shot out of Kaizo as his left hand shot up and caught Shiro's Zanpakuto then he spoke in somewhat of a hollowfied voice "Shut the fuck up...your voice is annoying me" Kaizo's head then shot up revealing part of a hollow mask forming along his left jaw line and his left cheek that were in the shape of jagged teeth, Kaizo's eyes had also turned black with the irises turned orange. "What the fu-" Shiro's eyes then widened as Kaizo's right fist smashed into Shiro's gut and sent him flying back at an immense speed. Kaizo then got to his feet as the cuts that had ravaged his body healed "I can't fight in this weak shell. Now...you want someone strong to fight? try me!!" Shiro walked out of the dust from the building he had flew into, his red eyes piercing through the dust as his silhouette became more visible, then a burst of red spiritual energy shot out from Shiro blowing away the dust "Now this is what I'm talking about!!!" a wide grin formed on Shiro's face as he got closer to Kaizo "I don't know what the hell happened to you but this is some serious strength..." Kaizo began walking towards Shiro also, a wide grin on his own face as the two got closer they then both disappeared and appeared high in the sky and clashed, the two then continued to disappear and reappear many times, clashing each time they reappeared then they clashed once more, Kaizo had blocked Shiro's Zanpakuto with his right Shikai then he pointed his left palm at Shiro as a red orb formed in the palm of his hand causing Shiro's eyes to widen as it then fired off and engulfed him, he then emerged from the red beam of energy smoking then Kaizo appeared behind him, his fist coated in black spiritual energy with an orange outline, Kaizo smashed his fist into Shiro's face as he turned causing an explosion that sent Shiro flying through the air towards the ground. As Shiro got closer to the ground he landed and skidded back a bit before jumping back as Kaizo landed on the ground forming a small crater then Kaizo vanished and appeared behind Shiro. his left hand on Shiro's left shoulder as he threw Shiro around him and through a building, As Shiro flew through the building and out the other side he saw Kaizo above him as Kaizo then punched rapidly releasing hundreds to thousands of black orbs with orange outlines that exploded as they hit Shiro, the more that hit the ground the greater the explosion grew.

-At the Head Captains office-

(this is a few days later bare that in mind. so he isn't going to run out on the other two. this is in the future from then or that's in the past. Either or.)

Shinji had been sat in his office when a member of the Onmitsukido appeared in his office in the bowing position he expected "What is it?" The Shinigami bowed his head then spoke "Head Captain, it appears that Kaizo from Squad 2 has...hollowfied, he is right now fighting the 3rd seat of Squad 11 and is overpowering him and the other Captains are nowhere to be foun-" Shinji then interrupted the messenger and spoke "I'll handle this...I was hoping something like this would never happen" Shinji stood up from his desk then walked to the balcony and shunpoed off towards the battle

-At the battle-

Shiro laid in a pile of rubble, covered in cuts and blood, his left eye was closed and his right barely open as he looked up seeing Kaizo more hollowfied than before, a hole noticable in his chest also "What the hell are you?" No words came from Kaizo only a hollowfied roar, Shiro could no longer move his body and Kaizo had aimed his left palm at Shiro and began charging up a large cero aiming to blow him to bits, then a bright red line appeared across Kaizo's hollowfied mask as it then shattered in two revealing Kaizo's face however it was emotionless, almost dead looking. Kaizo then dropped to the floor as the hollowfied shell cracked off his body and shattered. Shinji appeared behind Kaizo, sheathing his Zanpakuto as many Squad 2 onmitsukido members arrived around them " How the hell did this happen? " Shinji looked around at the area which was flattened and let out a sigh then he used Bakudo 99 pt.1 to restrain Kaizo indefinitely then spoke "Take him way and lock him in the cells within my barracks...His fate will have to be decided tomorrow by Central 46...no doubt they will execute him. " The Squad 2 members appeared around Kaizo and picked him up then shunpoed off to the Squad 1 barracks to lock him away, Shinji then walked up to Shiro and looked down at him " I don't know what you were playing at...but this isn't a game...you could have been killed there and if not for Squad 2 being onto the case then you would have died...I sensed this but I had no idea it was this sort of issue. Go get yourself healed.." Shinji then turned and shunpoed off. Shiro listened to everything then his head dropped back as he spoke "Yeah...whatever..."

Kurisa was sat in the underground training room that lay under the Squad 6 barracks, his Zanpakuto was rested across his legs with both his hands on the Zanpakuto, his eyes were closed as he was inside his inner world training, the only place he felt true peace was there.

-Inside Kurisa's inner world-

Kurisa had been sat on the floor in the large main dojo within his inner world, his Zanpakuto spirit Shuzaku opposite him, she to was also sat on the floor however not quite the same, she was sat more...casually if you will. " Uhhhhhhhhh~ Kurisa! come on do something fun! it's no good you sitting in here being all boring! it makes me feel depressed!" Kurisa had his eyes closed and kept them closed even when he spoke "Shuzaku I'd prefer it if you didn't try coax me into doing something fun I am not a child anymore and I will not return to those ways..." Shuzaku looked at Kurisa then pouted and began sulking "You used to be fun! I mean even our little spars were fun...and the oth-" Kurisa's right eye then shot open however not even close to being wide "Don't even say it...that was a terrible thing to do as you are not only my Zanpakuto spirit but I was a child...thankfully I was not scarred by such events but I'd prefer that never happen again..." Kurisa then closed his eye once again "Uh! fine!...such a meany these days...well fine then when are we going to do something interesting? like fight some people!? it's been a long time since we ever fought someone strong..." Kurisa let out a slight sigh before speaking "Perhaps soon...I sense something is off which is why I am here...to practice some of my skills, but first I must master the theory behind the skill before using it in a practical sense...I want to surprise the enemy with skills they didn't know existed, combine them in ways that would never be possible by other Shinigami...I'm determined to show my worth to the Head Captain and the Kuchiki clan...I wish to become the Head someday...and what better way then showing how much greater I am than the previous head of the clan..." Shuzaku rolled her eyes...this was all he ever talked about...he was like a damn broken record

Kaizo finally responded to Rio, lifting his arm to wipe the tears from her cheek. She immediately silenced herself, slowly closing her eyes during Kaizo's touch, happy that he was still alive. Her plum eyes drifted open as he spoke, causing her to close her mouth and gulp while looking away. His hand then slipped off of her face, making her jump to catch it. As she looked at Kaizo's arm cradled in her grip and listened to the man who helped, she nodded, placing Kaizo's arm gently beside him. The guy left before Rio could even catch his name. Shortly after, nurses piled into the room and begun to work on Kaizo. Rio then pushed herself up, off of her knees and onto her feet. She moved back a little and watched, giving the nurses room to work. Wiping her eyes on the sleeve of her uniform, she took a moment to just silently look at Kaizo, her mind swarming yet calm at the same time. Maybe she A sigh escaped her lips before she tore her gaze away from Kaizo and walked towards the door, stopping in the doorway just to look back at him one more time as he was being bandaged.... Silence... With that, she looked forward and left.

Kaizo continued to get bandaged up by the nurses and it didn't take all that long for them to do so however even in his state he could feel something was off and despite his unconscious state he somehow managed to utter something "...Ri....Rio...I...love...Rio..." it wasn't much but subconsciously he manged to utter those words, perhaps even though he was out like a light his connection with her was still strong and perhaps he could feel doubt coming from her...maybe...it's hard to tell in this sort of world...

The head Captain sensed two presences outside his office then spoke "Enter!" Shinji waited for the two to enter, knowing one was Giovanni and the other was someone he didn't know...regardless...this could work in his favor as he had something planned for Giovanni but it required two people at the very least. He hoped this would work with both of them but still...regardless...it didn't matter, it was something they'd do like it or not...it had to be done and Shinji had choose these two

As the rope got close, Sasha came around the corner yelling about how she knew he was over here which got the man's attention leading him to cut the rope with his Zanpakuto. He quickly sliced down firing an arc of wind that put mostly him and Henry at risk, but it was nothing to dodge. He shunpo'ed and stopped behind Sasha, grabbing the back of her Shihakushō he pulled her out of the way and hopped back himself as the arc of wind smashed into a building. He noticed Henry behind the man about to fire an Okasen, he him pulled out his Zanpakuto. If Henry wasn't right there then he could trap this guy in a Kaze no mure. Instead he activated his Kūki no bakuhatsu, when he slashed explosive wind would shoot out, but he couldn't risk hitting Henry....Not yet anyways.

Sasha watched as the arc moved towards the other two then she was grabbed and pulled away by Potato eyes which made her quickly wriggle once they had stopped so she could get out of his grip "HEY I COULD HAVE SAVED MYSELF YOU KNOW! HMPH!" Sasha didn't exactly like people trying to save her from things as it made her feel like a bit of a liability "Just watch what I can do! I'm better than I look!" Sasha then unsheathed her Zanpakuto's then she ran a few feet before shunpoing into the air above the Shinigami.

The Shinigami noticed Henry appear behind him and turned and used his Zanpakuto to block the incoming Hado's which exploded on contact with his Zanpakuto which then kicked up dust then he pointed his left palm at Henry "Hado 33! Sokatsui!" A blue bolt of kido lightning formed in his hand then shot right at Henry at almost point blank range through the dust then he noticed the girl appear behind him, he turned to his right aiming to slash at her only to have his Zanpakuto blocked by Sasha's right Zanpakuto, she held it with the blade facing the ground then slid it down his blade till the Tsuba of her Zanpakuto hit his Zanpakuto with her Zanpakuto piercing into the ground holding it in place temporarily, then with her left Zanpakuto she stabbed towards the mans face causing him to pull his head back only receiving a light cut on the top of his right cheek before he pushed the blade away with his left palm then he saw Sasha throw herself into the air and twist her body, using her Zanpakuto that was stuck in the ground to hold herself up, the top of her left foot then collided with the back of the mans head and sent him flying into a building then she landed and spun pulling her right Zanpakuto out the ground, she then saw a red glow from the darkness of the building as a Hado 31 fired out at her causing her to shunpo into the air. The man then emerged from rubble of the building dusting off his uniform "Tch...you got lucky there girl..."

Rio's eyes widened at the news as her gaze shifted between the guy and Kaizo. She stepped closer, tears still slipping down her cheeks but silently. Walking to the edge of the bed, Rio fell to her knees. Her hands gripped the sheets close to Kaizo's shoulder. She couldn't help the quiet sobs that made their way out of her mouth... She just wanted Kaizo to be Okay again.

Ashido watched the woman try call Kaizo to come back to her, for him to be okay. He didn't know the relationship between the two but regardless it seemed her voice was working as Kaizo's right arm moved so that he could place his hand on the left side of Rio's face and wipe the tears off her cheek, seeing this made Ashido nod then Kaizo spoke weakly as he slowly turned his head and opened his eyes so he could see Rio "Save the crying for when I'm dead..." Kaizo gave a weak smile followed by an equally weak chuckle before his hand slipped off Rio's face, with his eyes then closing. "It seems he is still quite worn out...but he is stable now. I will have to bandage up his wounds and likely keep him here awhile...he's lucky to survive...especially after getting a wound like that to his chest. Guess he still has he wants to fight for" Ashido then stopped the healing as anymore would be useless as the rest of the wounds had to heal by themselves. "I'll send some people in to bandage him up...you may stay here with him for awhile if you want, if not...that's fine...either way he will need a lot of rest..." Ashido then left the room as nurses entered a few minutes after to begin bandaging up Kaizo

Rio continued to watch in silent agony. This sight... The look of someone she cared so much for.... dying.... in front of her eyes was all just too much for her to handle, yet, she couldn't tear her eyes away, she needed to watch. It was the price she had to pay... for getting too close to someone. Rio should of known... Clearly it must of happened with all of her family and friends since she had none... Getting close to a person would only caused them pain. As she watched patiently, she could hear her own heartbeat in her ears. It thumped anxiously... But then a simple sentence reinforced her hope. She stared at Kaizo more intently. She whispered, desperate for a reaction.

Ashido continued to heal Kaizo and watch the women and when she spoke he nodded "Yes it seems he is making an improvement...aslong as nothing goes wrong he should be okay..." Ashido continued his healing when he noticed Kaizo's right hand twitch a little "Hmm?...seems he can hear you somehow...keep talking to him, try bring him back...he clearly recognizes your voice." Ashido had only been in a few situations like this but he knew now what helps people and what doesn't. Voices of someone they know can help...a lot more than people think
