I'm a fan of the V:tM Lore, but a bit of a noob to tabletop gaming, especially online. So with the GMs patience I'd be happy to learn as I go. That said I did have some questions.
1: Will we have set character sheets to fill out and how shall they be filled? By rolling our stats as in D&D of will we be given a set number of points to distribute among our stats as we see fit? Within the bounds of our clan of course. (No one expects a Tremere to have maxed out their strength)
2: How will the rolls work? I understand that the GM wants to be a regular post-by-post rp with occasional rolls. Will the GM be performing those rolls personally or is each player to make their own rolls? Is there some kind of online service for dice rolls, for those of us who don't own their own physical set of dice?
3: What limits are being placed on clans. I've always been a fan of Malkavians, but some GMs dislike having them in their rps, for obvious reasons.
I'll probably have more questions as we progress, but that's what I've got so far. I'm looking to the GM for definitive answers here, but I invite everyone else who wishes to give their input or perspectives. So I've recently gotten really, really into Vampire: the Masquerade and I'm dead set interested in a V:tM roleplay. Sadly I'm in poor health and simply don't have the energy to GM a roleplay of my own, and believe me I'd be all over this if I did. So with that in mind, if anyone would like to start up a V:tM roleplay, I'd really like to get in on the ground floor. Alternatively if there's a V:tM roleplay already in the works that you may know of or be a part of, please point me in that direction. I've got a craving for Vampire mystique, sensuality, and political intrigue.
