Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Kintya nodded at Temujin's and Elin's arrival, and gave out an amused huff. "Thanks for the offer Temujin, but I'm not interested. At least I know what tobacco is... And since we cured cancer, what's the harm anyways?" She flicked the butt onto the ground, and squashed it out with her boot, twisting her foot gently on top of it. She heeded Elin's question, and looked around the group, making a head count. "Not quite, seems Silus is the only one not here... Not sure what to think about that." Kintya laughed, and looked around "You guys still trust him? I sure as hell don't, but I need a lot of money. So what choice do I have?" She pondered on the thought, and sighed, head in her hand.

It was then she noticed a flicker of red light on the ground. It was gone so quick, darting away, that she almost took it for a trick of the light. She looked up puzzled and, head cocked to one side, began to speak "Hey, did anyone else just see tha-" Her eyes fell on Elin, and she saw it again: A red dot, moving up her body, and coming to rest at the side of her head. Kintya's eyes widened in sudden realization, as she darted towards her, military instincts lighting up in an instant. "Shit, SNIPER!!" She tackled Elin to the ground, just as the slug whizzed through the air and blew apart a sizable chunk of the adjacent wall. Rounds began to fly through the air, as several unknown assailants began to pour through the hall entrance on the far left, taking up defensive positions along the rubble. Six of them, carrying scatter guns and pistols, and including one Kintya remembered distinctly: The thug she beat up yesterday.

The thug shouted, and pointed his gun at the group, laughing menacingly. "You and your pussy friends are f**ked now!"
So, guys, I won't be posting tomorro. Have nan's funeral.
Love your signature Vash.

I think it's called Steven Universe?
I am not a big fan of Valentine's. Isn't it some holiday Hallmark cards made up?
Okies, I'll get a post up today, before work ^^

Unless you want to throw in a post, Kitsune?
I'm thinking of three. We could delay and wait for the mission for some snooping about the missing colonies. I have an idea for that ^^
So, we may have a slight problem that you guys may or may not be aware of, regarding Art's temporary unavailability.

Art and I have discussed a couple of ideas on how we can remedy this:
1 - We wait for him to return: I have no idea when that is, but we discontinue this RP until he returns. When he's back, when can start up the IC again.
2 - I could RP his character (with his permission, of course) to act as a sort of solo strike team: Basically, Silus would operate on his own, bypassing security, getting us access into their hideout, and picking of targets of opportunity. I really don't want to do this to him, but if you guys want to continue with the mission and he's ok with it, I can do that. At the end of the mission, he would be RPed during a group discussion event I have planned.
3 - We skip this mission entirely, and conjure up a scenario where we get distracted, and discover what's going on, with him having to shadow us until he returns: Pretty much another idea he suggested, that we skip the mission for now and continue with the main story elements.

I wanted to ask you guys what you think, so we can all agree on a course of action (hopefully, Art can get a chance to read this and post his opinions too) ^^
This One worked feverishly, excited and driven by innovation. It had come upon a brilliant idea, while observing The Disk Clumps and Fire Feeders swim about aimlessly. It seemed that they lacked direction, that they couldn't move in any meaningful way. They simply reacted to stimuli, without any other sensory information than touch and changes in the environment around them. What they needed now made sense to This One: They needed to see. However, this challenge was a huge obstacle to overcome, and It would need to be very careful and methodical in It's approach.

Firstly, it needed some sort of... Communication within itself, something that thought the way This One did. It began the process by differentiating the cells in the front of the Disk Clumps to the cells in the back, and It struggled greatly to make this change. With the shell concept It had been working on, it modified the Disk Clump's Code, so that as it grew, the shell pinched the organism in the middle, and twirled finely around it's middle. While not very thick or strong, it was now a reality, and offered some protection from the stinging spears of the Others who hunted it. Then, the forward part of the organism was modified to be much smaller, and could retract into the shell, should The Others try to consume it. The back end that stuck out of the shell was merely for movement, and the powerful undulating motion was concentrated there, making it much faster.

This One stood back, and admired it's new creation. While there was no real structure or design that gave this creature direction, it was now ready for whatever solution This One could think of. After this achievement, it would do the same to the Fire Feeders, so soon as It rested from the intense work, and observed how the new Shelled Clump adjusted to the environment. Curiously, a mistake had been made somewhere along the way, and now it floated vertically, with the undulating back end right at the top, and the head floating towards the bottom of the ocean. It actually didn't move any faster at all, but seemed to just float now, right underneath the surface. Ah well, This One liked a challenge anyway. And the shell should protect it. Hopefully.
