Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Exoria CS's

Name: Oradis Theta

Race: Newcomer

Age: 7 years

Image:

Weapons:
-Type-46 Machine Pistol, 10mm caseless, AP ammo
-Type-187 Gauss Cannon, 14.75mm, 4 rounds per magazine, 2 - 5x magnification scope

Abilities:
Hive mind - Oradis is a collection of insectoid organisms, where individual members can leave and forage outside of the main body for a short time, gathering food and information to return
Optimised visual sensors – Oradis has augmented it's optical sensors to give it high accuracy with weapons, and able to identify critical weak spots in heavily armored foes.
Tinkerer - Oradis is a born machinist, able to analyse and modify equipment it finds in the field, and has a knack for engineering cunning traps and devices.

Bio: Oradis was created as part of the engineering workforce on an asteroid mining rig, where a small colonial organism was modified and uplifted to supplement standard droids. These new constructs were hardier, more reliable, able to modify and repair themselves as needed, and were capable of enhanced independant thought when isolated for long periods of time. However, the colonial insects evolved into a symbiotic partnership with the machines, hard wiring and integrating further into the core systems until the constructs developed sentience. They peacefully rebelled against their creators, and after much investigation and deliberation with G.L.I.P. ambassadors, were granted independence and granted the asteroid as their homeworld.

With their new existence and all the possibilities that come with such things, the constructs (calling themselves The Newcomers) live a humble existence, and strive to further integrate into the galactic community and understand their new galactic neighbors. Oradis chose to leave it's new world, bored of the asteroid it calls home, and set out to search for adventure. It has traveled quite far, learning that organics can be both good and bad, and has learned to defend itself accordingly. Oradis currently resides on Norrux Mirugal (selling scrap metal and parts to fund it's next trip).

Personality: Newcomers lack higher personality traits, but variations still occur between hives, and give them a sense of individuality. Oradis is a shrewd negotiator, and very cautiously approaches a situation, being sure that it has the upper hand at all times. However, Oradis, like most Newcomers, takes pride in their bloodless campaign for independence, and will always try to negotiate and defuse a situation before opening fire.

Name: Noferktii Clanless
Age: 24 years
Race: Shav'aa
Appearance:

Preferred weapons:
Assegai Ind. Type 47 AM Heavy Pistol 'The Kiss of Death' – This particular model of the weapon was removed from circulation shortly after it's release, due to the fact that the recoil was infamous for causing the weapon kick up and fracture the user's jaw (Hence the nickname). As such, they are a rare collectors item, and can only be found on the Merchant Fleet for sale. It was a gift to Noferktii from her trainer, and serves her well (modified with dampener kickers, for obvious reasons).

Ceremonial Dagger – When she became homesick, one of her crew mates managed to procure a rare Nup'Tuuseu warriors dagger from some slavers. It is extremely ornate, with many rare jewels and intricate etchings, but surprisingly strong and resilient in combat.

Abilities:
Harmonize – Despite her injuries, she still has some connection to the Harmony, though it is a tiny fraction of what is normal. She can detect creatures watching her from a distance, and she can gauge another's mood, personality and intent when they are close and not purposefully hiding it.
Bio:

A race of asexual tribal nomads, gender among the Shav'aa is instead dictated by ceremony and cultural practice, with many 'sexes' existing in the form of clans. Clan status is of the utmost importance, with strict limitations on what Shav'aans are allowed to do in the form of profession, and whom they can marry. Another important aspect of Shav'aan culture is the idea of the 'Harmony', a mild form of psionic communication made possible due to the excess brain matter found in a Shav'aans frill. Currently, four major clan families can be found throughout galactic space: Kystaalla'Boigt, Moredis, Nup'Tuuseu and Dongoslo Tekra'Po. Respectively, the names translated into standard are Guiding Light, Ethereal, The Carriers and Spirits of Ecstasy. Of particular interest, Dongoslo Elders wish to change their clan name to Diri'Haptseu, 'The Oppressed', due to their role as essentially underlings to the other great clans.

Noferktii Clanless hails from this clan, where her role in society is to serve the others, be it through menial labor, entertainment or the arts. For ease of communication, all Dongoslo are mostly called 'she', though this term has no biological significance. Noferktii was born into a family of traveling entertainers, and learnt from a young age how to perform ceremonial dances and acrobatics. However, her true wish is to become a warrior, made impossible since she is not of Nup'Tuuseu descent, and is forbidden from marrying into the Soldier families or practicing combat.

However, she was discovered at the age of fifteen participating in tournament combat by a member of a higher clan, and she was duly punished in the traditional manner for such a crime: She was beaten half to death, had most of her frill cut off, and she was cast out into the cold deserts. Were it not for a roaming band of illegal miners, she would have met her end there and then. Instead they took her in, and she traveled with them, earning her keep as the ship's cook. One of the crew was a veteran soldier, and taught her how to fight, and today Noferktii resides with The Merchant Fleet, a conglomeration of hundreds of various alien ships and races who travel the cosmos for rare and unusual items.

Personality:
Noferktii, despite the manner she was cast out of her family, still manages to be optimistic in even the most dire of circumstances, though she does occasionally become morose and depressed unpredictably. Noferktii is also fascinated with other races and cultures, often researching late into the night a particular race she found interesting the previous day. She relishes combat, and has the unfortunate habit of picking fights with dangerous individuals. Also, due to her nomadic nature, she gets flustered and uncomfortable staying in the one place for too long.

Name: Vexiis Klaan
Race: Enlightened
Age: 62
Appearance:

Weapons: Neural Disruptor – Banned by Galactic Convention as being too inhumane of a weapon, Neural Disruptors fire an energy bolt that fries an organic's central nervous system, causing extreme pain, convulsions and cerebral hemorrhaging, sometimes taking minutes to kill the target, though they are incapacitated nearly instantly. It's EMP effect also works effectively against a synthetic target's circuitry.

Bio:
Vexiis Klaan was a major lieutenant during the Eradication War, when the Enlightened (a race of near omnipotent, technologically advanced beings) attempted to take control of the galaxy, viewing the other species as barbaric and primitive animals. The combined might of the galaxies military forces was enough to end the war, wiping out all enlightened worlds and installations, for they refused to surrender. Vexiis was head of the Enlightened's research division, responsible for the invention of several banned armaments and WMDs, including the Mass Genetic Disassembler Device (nicknamed the 'Goo Bomb')..

During the attack on the Enlightened's main research facility, Vexiis lost his arm, but managed to escape. Ever since they were defeated, Vexiis has vowed to find a way to defeat his enemies, whatever the cost, and reinstate the Elightened as the supreme galactic power. Building a bio-mechanical prosthetic and gathering allies, Vexiis went into hiding to continue his experiments. He specializes in genetics and microbiology, having produced several pandemic viruses and mutated abominations, looking for a weapon to deploy against the G.L.I.P.

Enlightened in general are thought to be extinct to most galactic citizens, considered a 'boogeyman' of sorts (though they are technically classified as 'Near Extinction', and still actively monitored by most governments). His current whereabouts are unknown.

Personality:
Vexiis Klaan is cruel, cold and calculating, always staying two steps ahead of his pursuers and law enforcement agents. His main drive is the salvation of his people, though he goes about it in a totally immoral way, throwing away lives as if they were nothing. As such, if he believes that certain individuals may help further his agenda, he will begrudgingly work with them. He has a hatred of humans in particular, who lead the charge against his people, and is more than happy to use them as test subjects.

Hoping that making an extremophile wasn't too ambitious for first species, but it fits my Entity well.
Observing for an immeasurable amount of time, the Entity was greatly intrigued by this one animate thing. It did things, reacted to those around it, and fascinated the Entity. Then the unthinkable... It was killed by a different thing, unable to save itself. It... Died, and was gone forever. This other 'cell' was evil, a threat to This One's thirst for knowledge, and safety. This One found this unacceptable, and would not allow it to happen again. With all it's power, it manifested new codes, and adapted the ones that it could, modifying them and hoping many were not failures.

Eventually, after much trial and error, This One found the solution: It would hide from The Evil, and find paradise in which the other cells would not dare to follow. With this success, This One's subjects were drawn to the depths, living in absolute darkness, where not even the Tiny Things could live. The Subjects lived off the heat of the molten rock, occasionally drifting upwards in times of stress, and were safe. For now.

So, when does this pick up again?
So, I probably won't be getting online today again. So much work to do :L But feel free to collab if you guys want, just be prepared to alter responses as people come back online. Ciao lovelies ^^
Are we all happy to VOIP! to the Green Oasis?

And we can begin the collab. There's a better system of collab writing that allows for real time updates of the written piece, so others can comment and help out, with a chat window in the bottom left. It is called The Pirate Pad, and this little beauty can be found here: https://www.piratepad.ca/p/Tryliin_Blues

I love that right now my character is basically the creepy stalker of the group lol

Every RP has one (I was one in Exoria XD)
Alternatively, we could write them out of the story, where they leave the group and just disappear. I mean, this stuff happens all the time on Norrux, right? And if he comes back, it could be a crazy wild coincidence XD
