What kind of excuse for a first world country doesn't have central heating? I bet you don't have block heaters either.
I live in a 100+ year old farm house. Not even insulated with horse hair or anything. It's cheap and we're poor. During the summer, it's not that bad. We have an upstairs, though, that doesn't even have electricity and there is no way we can get electricity up there. It was a family home and we got inherited it. Gotta take what you can get.

Welp, there goes a foot. I'm in a lot of pain, but atleast I'm warm!

And I am bloody cold. In a house with no insulation except the rotting wooden walls, no central unit, and a minimum amount of propane left, I am dying.
We are suppose to be getting some in, but with the shortage, who knows how long it'll be until we get it. I need to cuddle.

No, I believe it. It's one of the reasons why Spam can actually have an intelligent conversation without people getting butt-hurt. I dunno if you were/are ever in Spam during those times, so you probably think I'm nuts... but serious conversations here usually have a bit more substance because we know how to joke and have fun instead of having a "I'm better than you. My opinion is right. No exceptions" attitude, something that old OT had in back-stock.
I also just woke up and can't find my glasses. if there is a mistake, it's because a BIG RED LINE wasn't under it to let me know. I really can't tell without it.
(I didn't like searching for that. So much death.)
