Shy, the reason why my Co-GM is anonymous is because I don't want people harassing her for information, which some people are bound to do.

So, stop, lol.
Alright, depending on how my school-work comes along, I'll have the post up for you all today.

Not Jerry. Because Jeremiah and Jerry are too close.
What about Bridget?

And Drakel, that is fine. Welcome aboard, Stryder. :3

I have something to run by you guys. This is about how to game will play out.The game will start with my introduction. This introduction will lay out the scene and describe what can be gathered from the Cornucopia. It will also describe the area around the cornucopia. Basically, what your characters can see will be in the introduction. Everyone will start at the same place. As everyone knows, if you step off your platform too early, you will explode. I will not be doing that during this game, so the very first post will end as soon as your character can step off their platform. At this point, you will all need to PM me with what you plan on doing. If Jorick wants to head straight for the Cornucopia and get an Axe and food pack, he will need to tell me that in a PM. If Turt wants to immediately run away and hide, he needs to tell me that. Whatever your character whats to do, you need to let me know immediately.

From there, I will give you your rolls and whether you encountered anyone. If you did encounter anyone, I will tell you how the fight went down statistically. After you receive this PM from me, you will post an In-Character post, adding your own flair but keeping true to the rolls you were given. If you are fighting someone else, they will get the same 'combat' information as you did and you can both collaborate on a post before putting it up. Once this is over, I will allow a 'Rest Period'. This Rest Period will give you free time to roam around the arena and gather certain things without any combat. You can not be killed during this Rest TIme. You can work with your alliances and do anything else you wish. However, I may through a little fire in the pit and the games can be on again at any time. A Rest Period has no set length of time. You either take advantage of it, or you don't.What does everyone think of this? Would you tweak it? Do you have other ideas? Let me know, please.

This is a reminder of how I'm looking at posts to go. What do you think?
Thanks, Nargle. =]

I like the character sheets, but I did notice that most are approaching this more in a casual manner instead of as a Hunger Games themed game. Perhaps we should have used canon characters, or had the GM come up with our names and such. I also noticed a lack of gender balance within the districts, there's a large number of males and barely any female characters, which is also unlike the genre. This isn't to call anyone out, it's just stating the facts, that so far it feels more Hunger Games-alike than Hunger Games.

While I was editing the Character Sheets into the OP, I noticed the gender gap and I wondered what I should do about it. I finally came to the conclusion that I do not mind the gender gap. It is about having my players be comfortable and not forced to play as a certain gender. I know a majority of people here wouldn't mind that, but some would. One person would be the male from a district and the other would be the female. Who am I to decide who plays which? Should I let them figure it out themselves? That could just lead to fighting and disagreements between members and I don't want that. Leave that to the IC.

The Character Sheets are merely a way to allow my players to be more comfortable. They can go into as much detail as they would like, or just the bare minimum. Because this was originally going to be a Spam game, I don't expect much more than a casual approach. When I get something more, I am pleasantly surprised, but I don't expect it from everyone. Maybe it's not their forte to make a Character Sheet, and that's fine.

The base of the game is strictly Hunger Games. Co-GM and I are working very hard behind the scenes to make this game as true to the series as we can, and I think when you all see the outcome, you will be pleased. As long as we hold true to our end and give you all an exciting experience, it doesn't really matter about the characters as long as they are human and realistic. And thank you for speaking up, Jordan. :)
