Elsa went around the forest finding some edible vegetables as well as some spices she could use for a dressing on them and looked around making sure that there had been no one that had followed them there for a moment checking the wild life and listening to the conversations. So far, there were no skeleton strangers, which was good news, but she wasn't going to let down her guard so easily. She walked back to the cave and got inside the cave with a small snarl to let her forest brother know she was there and safe sitting by Alex. "I got these things, I thought they'd be good." She said showing him what she had gathered for him. "I hope this will be alright. I never before prepared a meal for a vegetarian before so I ask forgiveness if I got something wrong." She said actually asking for something.
"That's alright. It would be a bit too simple don't you think?" Caitlyn teases a bit hoping to get the TARDIS feeling better. "Jack Harkness. I heard he is a flirt. Well better to call him then. Is there a way I can do so?" She asks curiously.
"I'm here Doctor. Don't worry. You'll be better soon." Rose said softly rinsing off the cloth again in cold water and placed it once more on his head not daring to move from the spot on the floor. Jackie handed Rose a blanket to sit on so she wasn't completely sitting on the ground uncomfortable. "Thanks mum." She said with a smile.
"Yeah well just hope he gets better. I'm sure Cat is out there searching for a way."
"She would do that." Rose said with a small giggle. In fact she was willing to bet fifteen quid on it.
I like this idea. Can I still join?
Rose cleaned up the mess a look of worry on her face as she used Resolve to get the stain out going to the bathroom and saw the Doctor fainted. She got cold water and placed it on his head placing him on her lap so he can be comfortable. Caitlyn smiles as she saw the TARDIS turn on a computer screen of sorts and hum. "You're just as worried about him aren't you?" She asks as she sat and looked through the alien list biting her lip. She read the different symptoms until she stopped reaching what she had seen in the Doctor had. "These do seem like he went against this...." She squinted her eyes as she tried to read the name of the alien. "Oh well. Do you know if there is a cure for this?" She asked.
Caitlym grabbed her helmet and went to the door. "Well there you have it." She said with a smile.
"And where do you think your going?" Jackie asked rubbing her temples. She then glared at the Doctor. "I don't have to like it, but you are right. I will let you stay here. But do something that stupid again and you will never be allowed near my daughter." She warned perfectly serious.
"I'll be back soon. Don't miss me too much." Caitlyn said smiling as she went out and put on the helmet. "Screw the consequences." She mutters under her breath as she takes off riding her bike for fifteen to twenty minutes, parking it near the TARDIS taking out the key and breathing in deeply for courage. She then opens the door admiring the beauty of the TARDIS inside her, closing the door behind her. "So its true that your bigger on the inside. Now if I were to look up different aliens and the possible diseases you could obtain from them, where would I be?" She asked herself looking around and chuckles softly. "No wonder the Doctor keeps getting companions. If I were a Time Lord, I certainly would. Its a bit lonely in here once you realize it." She said continuing to talk to herself.
Rose sighs after Cat leaves shaking her head. "She's probably going through the tardis to see if she can find out what your suffering from so she can get you proper medicine. I'm glad she is as I'm getting worried about you. I never saw you this pale before."
The door opening caused both the young women to look at the other in sheer panic. For it had admitted disaster.
"I saw Cat's bike outside. We weren't going to celebrate till later. Seems a bit greedy to get her presents so early. Well no matter how----." Jackie cut off what she was saying when she got into the livingroom. She saw that indeed Caitlyn was here, along with Rose. Along with....Jackie probably would have thrown something possibly fragile towards the chair where the Time Lord was sitting if Caitlyn didn't stand in front of him in a protective stance. "Why the bloody hell is that bloody man doin' back here?! Showing his ugly mug like yew haven't been grieving for him as if he had died?!" She yelled.
"Quit it." Caitlyn said quietly. Yet it had the desired effect. The American was sort of glaring at her relative, and pulled a hand through her hair. "He's really sick Auntie Jackie. He doesn't need to be yelled at today. Besides I'm afraid your going to get him worse than he is. And trust me he's gotten a whole lot more pale while here as well as getting sick to his stomach. I would appreciate it if you put your yelling/scolding on hold. Please." She asked kindly a look of defeat on the American's face.
Elsa and the tiger began to run through the forest, Elsa checking once in a while to make sure that Alex was following and then once she felt they were far enough, which happened to be a half-hours run, she stopped motioning him to come down as she found a cave having inspected it to see that nothing had lived here for at least a week which suggested that the family of wolves got bigger. "This should suffice. I am unsure if a cooked meal will be a good idea or not but I can always prepare something cold. Like a 'salad' that I heard about." She said uncertainty showing on her features. She had no idea what to do now and was confused on their next steps in what they were to do. She still had that gut feeling saying they weren't safe. And probably wouldn't be for a long while yet, so knew she would not get any sleep that night too anxious for it.
"Protect Alex for the time I am away. I will not be very long." She promised the tiger as she got out and searched for edible vegetables in the forest her eyes also searching for trouble.
"Well a few moments ago I heard screaming which means it could be looking for survivors. It will take five minutes for it to get back here, let's get to the bit of forest. At least there, we can hide in holes or caves as long as the inhabitants do not mind." Elsa said sighing in relief. He had agreed her way of doing this was best. Even when they both knew that he detested doing so. She took the lead knowing this place well, and also knowing a short cut out of there. She went behind the particular house they were in. "Be prepared to run." She said and went to the beginnings of the forest her senses on the look out for any and everything.
Elsa grabbed Alex's arm getting him to stop and look at her. "Don't. Please. I don't know what that thing is. And I highly doubt it can be killed." She wasn't used to crying herself. She hadn't had much reason to do it, beyond as a kid when she got really hurt. But even then, she hasn't cried much. She gave him a small smile barely there beyond her fear of whatever the heck that thing had been, thankful for his small show of comfort. He must have been as uneasy in giving it as she was still unused to getting it. "You might not have seen this thing, but I promise, there is something extremely unnatural about it. I don't know its strengths and that worries me. Not to mention I never in my entire existence saw that thing before in my travels in the forest. So can we please get out of here? I have a terrible feeling in my gut, and I always listen to my instincts as they never led me wrong." She pleads, only once having to plead for something before this in her life.
Caitlyn flushed the toilet out after closing the lid taking deep breaths when outside the bathroom having lifted the lid when she heard it all disappeared walking into the living room. "What did I say about apologizing for being sick? He apologizes when he shouldn't a lot doesn't he?" Caitlyn asked Rose, the other woman giggling.
"Not often but when he does its near impossible to stop." Rose said hugging the Doctor. "Don't apologize for something you probably have no control over." Rose said unknowingly echoing the same thing that Caitlyn had said. Caitlyn did not like how pale the Doctor was getting very close to getting her helmet and once more riding off. She couldn't stand not knowing why he seemed to be getting worse.
