I was looking forward to a couple of people to take their selection of devil fruit, I wasn’t going to assign anyone characters i would love for you to create your own

I was going to post a list of the fruits and have a ‘first come first served’ sort of thing

The age of pirates ended and started up once more with Straw hat Luffy finding and then re-hiding most of the treasure hidden by Gold Roger [with 30% taken by Nami of course]
"I had my adventure! And who says that the pirate age is over? Not me! I re-hid the treasure, so that you can find it this time! Have fun!"

So this is the era after Luffy found and re-hid the treasure. The Devil Fruits have all been scattered once more with the deaths of those that held them.

I would like at least a small-medium sized group of people to express interest in the idea before REALLY posting all the Devil Fruits and who will play what character. So. Who's interested?

“I’m adorable no matter my hair color.” Ashlyn stated flipping her hair glad that an auburn red was her natural color. His laughter had always brought a smile on her lips, and this was of course no different. And then it was as if a switch had been flipped and suddenly, she felt a charge in the air as very cliché she will find that thought later, as he brought an arm to her back and presses her closer and closer until their faces were inches apart.

“Kiss me.” He told her. And even with her earlier admonishment not to expect one after his smoking, she couldn’t help herself any more than the tide could help itself with rising and falling, and she reaches up behind his head as she leans her face those scant inches to do exactly as he said. Kissing him without second thought. Her fingers tangled in his hair as she’d always wanted to have done.

Ashlyn made a deadpan look to Kane, knowing he was joking, but really why did he have the need to tease her about her aversions? She shook her head. “You are a lost cause my friend.” She told him with a smile. “Girls like to change things when something major happens. Remember that goth phase I went through?” She reminds him.

Ashlyn made a small face but took his hand anyway. “Don’t expect a kiss after your cigarette.” She teases him as she made her way with him out the back door and away from the smell of smoke. She didn’t like the smell of the smoke and had told him in no uncertain terms it wasn’t allowed in their house. She looks at his face. “Maybe she suspects this might be a farce. I would in her shoes. It’s the most common thought anyway. Besides me being your best friend since beginner school, you haven’t once made a romantic move on me.” And that had hurt the worse during these years.

Ashlyn’s eye twitched as he paid attention to the bimbo Jolene, and not his ‘supposed’ date. Her devious nature came out to play; as she took the alcohol out of his hand before he spilled more, brought the hand covered in the liquid and licked some of it off, before wiping the rest with a napkin. She grins mischievously knowing that would catch his attention if nothing else would. “You are supposed to pay attention to your date. Otherwise I will cause a scene that will diminish your masculinity. And as you remember I do have many embarrassing moments in your childhood I hold over you.” She told him in a soft voice meant only for his ears.

Natalie grabbed a sheet and in a gravity defying jump, wrapped the sheet around some line falling through an open window stealing the bread in the window in the process. A moment later she escaped the building chuckling in amusement. “Thanks for the bread mister gumpy pants!” She called still amused. When she got away from the pursuers, she leaned against a near by wall and noticed two kids. They were picking through trash and were surprised to see the grown up.
“Hey. Don’t be afraid.” She gently cooed at the kids as she broke off half the bread. She had to have food for herself. “Take this and share with the other.” She suggested and the children smiled thankfully at her and scurried away.
