I am further in ze Doctor Who episodes. I'm at Vincent van Gogh epi in season 5 so...I can do some more DW stuff or any of the ideas listed.
Caitlyn places a hand on Jack's head once she reached him placing a small kiss on his cheek and laying next to him. "There there." She says softly hoping that her presence would sooth the immortal.
Rose smiles and kisses the Doctor's cheek. "You should take your own advice and not worry so much. We will survive this as we have every challenge."
Caitlyn had heard what the Doctor had said and nods. If it was as bad as the Doctor was making it sound, this would be hell. So she would make sure that Jack got better. "I'll play nurse, but I am rusty at it." She said for although some basic things had stuck with her she hasn't dared to go back to being a nurse for fear that he would find her.
Rose softly places a hand on the Doctor's shoulder smiling. "I know you won't resort to killing him. Its what you do." She says lovingly. If he had a choice, he never resorted to violence or killing. After all why call himself a man who heals if he did resort to violence?
"I don't know what's going on. And I trust that you'll come up with something." Caitlyn said rubbing her temples and sighing. She knew that if push came to shove she would be the likely choice if something went wrong. She was after all, the newest companion and wasn't that known to the Doctor's enemies as much as Rose and Jack was, accepting that. She then went to the room where Jack was laying near him, worried about this other time lord that the Doctor spoke about. She just hoped that nothing horrible happened.
Rose felt sad for the Doctor who had such a close friend but he had gone mad and now the two of them were enemies. She tried to remember what the man looked like as she saw him many times on the television of course. But the more she tried, the more she found she couldn't really focus much on it. Perhaps if she didn't force herself to think about it, she'd be fine.
"Who?" Rose asked curiously. She never heard of this person before, but from the way the Doctor spoke of the 'Master' it wasn't good.
Caitlyn didn't want to move but she had to in order to figure out what was going on. But if Jack woke and found her gone, he might panic. She places a kiss on Jack's head and quickly wrote that she would be right back, and it wouldn't take her long, in case he did wake and find her gone. She then walked to the console, seeing the Doctor and Rose. "Doctor? I think something wrong is going on." She said her instincts screaming that this was so, and that they were in danger. "Jack was tapping this strange rhythm. Does that mean anything?" She asked.
Caitlyn lay there soothingly caressing Jack's head seeing his tapping the rhythm, it made her curious. What was it? She did a mental count of the taps. One. Two. Three. Four. One then three quickly following it in a quick succession. She couldn't recall there ever being such a beat before, her mind trying to come up with ideas but failing. She'd ask the Doctor later about this, but after Jack went to sleep.
"This is bad isn't it?" Rose asked knowing it was so, because of the worry on the Doctor's face. He knew enough to show that he was worried and that was never a good sign. "What do we do?" She asks.
'
Caitlyn rolls her eyes and smiles. "Don't worry about it. I might have had a little bit of expectation, but I'm happy as it is. I got to meet two impossible men that I never would have normally. And I got one as a boyfriend who says he loves me. That in itself is an adventure worth looking into." She said happy.
"I was doing a rhythm?" Rose asked and her eyes thinned. She didn't like that. She had others messing with her head for their enjoyment once. There was no way she'd take it laying down this time. "So, perhaps it's a bit of something subtle." She says wondering what.
Immediately as if calling attention to it, Rose stopped looking confused at the Doctor. "What do you mean, 'what am I doing'? I was just...thinkin' is all. About the newest candidate for Prime Minister." She answered truthfully, seeing his worried look. Should she be concerned then? She knew to take his suspicions by heart, for more often then not, they turned out correct.
"I know, do you think you'll be fine though?" Caitlyn asked soothingly pulling her fingers through Jack's hair hoping that would help, and got him standing up, reaching behind her and flushing down the sickness. She places him gently onto the bed placing a small kiss onto his temple. "Just focus on getting better. Okay?" She asks.
Caitlyn immediately got up and walked to the bathroom placing a soft hand on his back smiling at Jack sweetly. "Yes? You called?" She asked wondering what he needed. She would tease that he shouldn't get too used to her coming anytime he called, but that would come later.
Rose sat in the seat her thoughts on something else, as unconsciously her fingers tapped out a rhythm on her leg thinking of the newest person going for Prime Minister.
"That could have gone better." Caitlyn says with a small frown glad that she had the forethought to remove the coat from Jack's shoulders. She continued to read, used to sudden justling from car rides and such. She stayed where she was curious if he would mind her presence since he was so sick. She didn't like people hovering over her when she was sick, but she didn't mind it when people were there neither.
Rose felt bad for Jack but knew the fifty-first century captain would be fine after some rest. "Yeah let's just hope that no one is trying to take over London. Again." She teases thinking there was going to be an election for Prime minister soon.
